  • I Have riden the Harley Davidson Heritage classic in 2 different occasions fotr a total of 1500 miles and at this stage I am comfortable to give a good and deep review of the bike . I think that the Heritage is Harleys most comfortable bike in the softail line up and I dare to say even the most comfortable bike among all Harleys period ! Unless you are taller than 6" foot I think it offers a very natural riding position letting you put down thousands of miles in great comfort.

I just bought a 2023 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic.
Spent $22,000, never thought I would spend so much on a motorcycle!
It’s extremely comfortable with excellent handling and has unbelievable torque!! Love it!!!

I've had bikes most of my life. I said I'd NEVER own a Harley. I sat on a Deadwood Green/Black 2021 Heritage Classic and fell in love instantly. It fit me perfectly. All my bikes are tall. I could flat foot the bike. I bought one a few months later. I've already put more miles on the bike in 18 months that I did on all my other bikes combined. Just got a Russell Day Long seat and we will do our third Iron Butt in June. Love your channel! Thanks for all the great content.

@@HOLYSHIFTHey Sandy! You were asking about a 2023 Heritage Classic Anniversary Edition. I bought one last December. I love it! However, I want a Low Rider ST in my future. You were asking about anyone with an Anniversary Edition Heritage possibly wanting to sell? LMK what you had in mind- Late Dave on 8/10/24.

I have the 2022 Chrome edition. I agree, this is the most comfortable and maneuverable Harley that I've ever owned. I traded in my 2018 Street Glide for it and don't regret it at all. I've put more miles on it in 2 years then I did on my Street Glide in 4 years. I've been riding Harley's for over 50 years. I'm 70 now and plan a cross country ride this summer.

I own a 2020 Heritage Classic and a 2018 Road King. I ride the Heritage for everyday use, probably less than 200 mile rides, and the Road King for rides longer than a couple hundred miles. And while I'm delighted to have both bikes, I'd have no problem at all if the Heritage were my only bike. Super comfortable, easy to handle, ergonomic and stylish. I will ALWAYS have one in my garage. Great review and thanks for posting.

I agree, I've had a 2006 Softail Night Train, 2009 Dana Fat Bob, 2020 Softail Low Rider S, and 2021 Softail Sport Glide. I always steered away from the Heritage because the styling wasn't appealing to me. My dad talked me into getting a 2023 Heritage and now I'm sold, it feels much bigger and more comfortable than its size being the same frame as my last 2 softails. The Sport Glide was my favorite Softail until I started riding the Heritage!

Im fortunate enough to own a 24 Heritage and a 24 Road Glide. I agree the Heritage is the more comfortable bike. The riders triangle is perfect and very pragmatic. I like the minimal features. Classic. The quintessential Harley. It can do 2 up but the Road Glide is way better for that. It gets some wind flutter in the forks and shield at triple digit speeds. Its also not geared as tall as the RG. Both excellent bikes.

Those laced rims allow tubeless tires. HD puts a lot of R&D into their motorcycles. Roll the throttle forward for 5 seconds at startup and you'll put the bike in parade mode for cruising the boulevard yet keeping the motor from overheating. Heritage 114 rocks for sure.

I have this bike. I agree the riding triangle is the best. I rented a street glide and road glide and if i was doing long haul rides those make sense. But if riding around on backroads, heritage is as you say more nimble. I added a Hogworkz tour pack that would be on a bagger and it makes all the difference when riding two up. One thing I dont like with the bike is the seat as it doesnt provide lumbar support. Getting my first Saddlemen seat in a few days.

The Heritage is a sleeper of a bike from HD. Find one used you’ll save thousands and it’s damn near a Swiss army kind of a bike. If you ride a lot with a passenger I’d might recommend a road king. Windshield pops on/off real easy too. Great bike!

  • @matthunting1162

I totally agree, from the front fender to the rear a timeless look and when riding you like you are in the bike and part of it as opposed to sitting on top of it. I have a 2021 Heritage in the Deadwood Green/Black with chrome engine trim and at every stop someone will complement the style. I guess that's why they still make em after all these years. My only complaint

    • @matthunting1162

Really like this motorcycle. I have a 1998 Road King that I really enjoy riding but was hoping to upgrade to a new one soon. Alas, Harley removed the RK standard from the lineup and the special just doesn't do it for me. I think I will consider the Heritage. And it looks to be about 100 pounds lighter than my RK which is helpful. I am heading toward retirement and not getting any younger. I don't mind the trim on the seats. Not sure how I feel about the lower windshield black out. Is it translucent or is it really black? And I wish there was a cast wheel option. The spokes do look great but are certainly more maintenance. Nice review though.

Nice review, thank you. That is my dream bike currently ride a 2015 Honda Shadow Aero. Just can’t get myself to spend $25,000 on a motorcycle when I can only ride it 5 months a year in Western New York. I take my Honda out in March and April and get 6-7 months of riding then have to wash it before putting it away a real pain in the ass. but I won’t ride a $25,000 bike in the salt in March or April. Salt isn’t off the roads until early May. Would love to be a snow bird during winter maybe someday but for now I shall remain in the land of the frozen from November to May no global warming in Buffalo great place from May to October but frozen, salt and snow from November to May!!
Good Grief!! I just want to ride my bike!!! Maybe I should learn to ski, been thinking about that I retire in July and will need something to do during the long, cold winters that I have grown to hate.

Im 6'3 and ride an 05 Heritage. Taller bars, moving the floorboards out and a slimmer seat make the bike fit great.

Why did you signal you needed help during your review? {Putting a helmet behind your bike is a signal for help.} just so you know.

I have a 2022 Heritage. Loved the bike when I road tested one when the new frame first came out.
Laced/spoked wheels are not for me on a road bike even though they look good. So no purchase for me early on.
Once I found out summer 2022 that Harley was offering the Heritage with cast aluminum wheels I bit and purchased mine.
11,500 miles on it so far. Set to ride from southeast Pennsylvania to Myrtle Beach bike week in May this year. May take her to Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley North Carolina on the way back to Pennsylvania..
Want to see if I can get some time this summer to travel to Ohio and visit the Honda automobile plant and the Honda Heritage Center also in Ohio.

You are too tall for that bike in my opinion. Try the Road king ! That would be same concept but for tall people

Further to my last comment Just bought a 2018 with very low km (13,000) but it has a recall which has to be addressed and Harley is looking after it. A great bike for sure !
