    This was Tsonga's 15th win over a Big 3 member. He would go on to claim another one against Federer the following year. Most career wins against Federer Nadal & Djokovic :

    Nowadays we get borefest like Rublev vs Fritz or even worse Fokina vs De Minaur in Masters semis 😂😂
    This was truly the golden age of tennis. Djokovic, Federer, Murray, Nadal, Del Potro, Tsonga, Wawrinka, Berdych, Ferrer, Soderling... Thank you for everything ! I was lucky to witness this era live. The best era of all-time.

      @@yoann2537 Monfils wasn't as good as these guys though. I mentioned players who won a Masters title, reached a Grand Slam final and made it to the top 5. Monfils has none of these achievements.

      @@rm1507 Maybe but monfils is the most talented and the better french player of this génération. Everyody knows him, everybody knows this legendary match. Don't care about a lucky grand slam winner, and lucky top five. He was ranked top 6 and top 20 all of this career. he was way better then Ferrer and Berdych, and even Tsonga. This career is so much longer than this guy.

    Tsonga was not only a great player, but he was also incredibly entertaining. His attacking style was exciting to watch, but he also wasn’t just your regular big power hitter. He had good movement, exceptional touch and some of the best volleys in the modern era. He also rarely got whiney or argumentative on the court but enjoyed playing to the crowd and showing his positive emotions.

    Shame we've seen Tsonga go and Nadal seems close to on the way out now... shame that our favourite players are retiring. You wont see players like these for some time!

      Shame that unfavorite player Djokovic still playing with weak gen and winning titles ..His fans say his body is important more than any titles ,that's why he didn't put vaccine but playing 250 tournaments,atp finals ,every slam whenever he has chance ..in 2020 rafa refused to go to United States because of COVID problem but nole did..but his fans says rafa is more obsessed than djoke

      Tsonga was able to shoot one-handed backhands from time to time, almost as accurate as two-handed when he could, which is rare and difficult to change his backhand or stroke in the middle of a match

      Because he was healthy. Other years he didn't even play. In 2015 he played the whole year, but only reached SF or finals after the USO and won just one title and that was 250 on grass. @@travisbickle5279

      ​@@travisbickle5279it's not his best ..but he still reached there because he is one of the mentally strongest player..that's why even in his worst form the greatest fighter reached some latter rounds in 2015 .shame that his body let him down .( 2021,2023 )rafa missed 5 slams ,(2021,2023 )Djokovic won 6 slams

      It was fairly rated at the time though. Only Nadal, Federer and Del Potro had a better FH I thought, maybe Djokovic.

      People usually assume Tsonga is as tall as Berdych and Del Potro because he was as powerful as them, but he was like 10 centimeters shorter than them. Tsonga was an exceptional server for his height, almost up there with Sampras Roddick and Federer pound for pound.

      It was a rough time. Ironically he had a pretty good indoor season though. I think he played so poorly during the season that he actually wasn’t fatigued or injured by the end of the year

      He was recovering from a back procedure at the end of 2014. That took a good 2 years to recover from and to get his on court movement back to a high level. He didn't makes excuses but he lost to a few guys in the period he wouldn't have lost to previously.
