Tsonga, delpotro on their day can hurt any players including the big 3 on non clay courts.. Big serve, big forehand, 70% of first serves in and the opponent is done & dusted... Honorable mention is Stan in this list where he can particularly decimate novak on his day

In France, everybody still remembers it :) Tsonga was ranked 38th, but beat Murray in the first round, Nadal in semifinals, and lost only to Djoko in finals in 4 sets (after winning the 1st one).

Tsonga exploited Rafa's biggest weakness. Rafa always covers his backhand side on the return so it's relatively easy for a big server to simply go to the open forehand side everytime. You have to be brave to go for it time and again especially big points. But I can't understand how / why everyone didn't do this throughout Rafa's career especially on faster courts! So many easy aces / unreturned serves just due to positional factor!

Tsonga should have been number 1 and won at least 4 or 5 grand slams. He somehow lacked self confidence and agressivity and was too senaitive to shame. He was solidly built, able to be fast as well, and capable of increible focus, but was simultaneously fragile. Dommage.

This match is underestimated, Tsonga's performance was one of a lifetime, he played an insane level and blew Nadal off the court. Some of the volleys he was hitting were some of the best volleys every and that's not an exaggeration at all.
