Billy is the modern day Doc Watson, he is the only person that I’ve heard in my lifetime that can play just as good if not better than Doc. His RUclips video at High Sierra playing an hour set of nothing but Doc tunes is impressive
What does hair have to do with the ability to play music? Billy is one of the best flat pickers playing and that is confirmed by the many well established and respected bluegrass musicians who either sit in or have him appear on stage with them at events. I'm sure they could care less if his hair was down to his waist or if he was totally bald.
