Moved to Thailand. 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, pool, gym, steam room and security $300/month. Electric $90/month. Water $7/month. Health insurance $180/month. Dozen eggs $1.50. Meals start at $1.50. Cellular unlimited data $7/month. If you have a drinking problem don’t come to Thailand, I’m surrounded by 200plus bars in this city with pretty girls calling for us to stop and drink… and many times they offer more than just drinks😳.
A better idea is to own a US property in USA as rental for casflow and live in Thailand. We have lots of people who own rentals in USA for the $ and say they live in Thailand for like $2,000 a month. 1 girl only has 1 rental and she moved to Bali and became a surf & yoga intructor. Her renal makes $3,000 a month and she is retired in Bali

Remember the HOA fees that in some places are rediculous,You pay a lot of money for your house and an association is telling you how to live and behave in your own home
$700 or so monthly HOA dues are in line with a home that is worth over two million. We have guards, grounds to keep up, that sort of thing. I don't believe that the HOA tells me what I may or may not do within the confines of my home, I would presume, unless it spills out and bothers the neighbors, i.e. wild parties, arguments, prostitution, porn shoots and that sort of thing. As for keeping up the property, no one wants to live next to a dump and is the reason CC&R's exist. Everyone who buys in here has to sign off prior to the close of purchase. For those who don't want to be bound by HOA's, fine with me, there is all of North Las Vegas. Go for it.
@@kennixox262 HOAs can be good in some sircomstances but many don't provide the amenities you refer to.The people on the governing boards remind me of junior high school student councils.Some are really loaded with cash but the dues go up anyway.Alittle bit of control freak mentality

It not such a good time to build with inflation and custruction cost . HOWEVER, builder are giving great discounts right now and the buys are negotiation on exsisting homes. right now we see about 10% average off list price
