The fondest memory I have with this place is that when I was 3, I would always walk in, and sit on those benches right in front of the S&S Double Shot (Albeit it was the old one back then), just really always yelling "There goes the tower!" whenever it shoos up. I say "Tower" because that was before I was smart enough to know the ride names. I eventually got the hang of it and knew it was called Double Shot by around 2011-2012.

I am an og enthusiast from back before enthusiast was a term used. So I've been around the mountain. Most of n the RUclips coaster park guys doing videos are totally douchebags. Airtime thrills, eltoro, thprkcrazy, etc....... yours by far is the most enjoyable and stands head and shoulders above with actual reporting as opposed to fabricating things just to try and appear like they have mote 3 inside information, and just being homers..... So good going. You're going great, keep it up
Ugh I miss oc we moved when I was 10 to cape may County. I grew up right on west Ave our babysitter used to take us to the beach everytime she sat my brother and I . I went a couple summers ago still loved it. The vibe here is so much more relaxing then wildwood.

To add to your point about the fire affecting operations, the only ride that we know has been affected are the bumper cars, since the cars were stored in the arcade during the offseason and were subsequently destroyed in the fire.
I get that this a specific question but are you allowed to take the back row on Gale Force if nobody is sitting there or do they load it front to back with no exceptions?
Lots of family tradition. I’ve been there more than 100 times. It is really fun there. There’s a bunch rides to go on in you’ll never get bored and there will be rides that you have never been on and they will be amazing. I think castaway Cove is great because it has bonjour eyes and there is really good rides.
I took my family to Ocean City this past week (my 2nd-ever trip, and my first 'true' experience, as my one previous trip was more a 'stopover' than a full day). My biggest gripe, by far, is the time when the ride locations open: both Playland and Gillian's don't open until 4pm (as opposed to noon, or 2pm at the latest, for places like Seaside and Wildwood). Especially egregious: "Gale Force" doesn't open until 7pm, far later than I ever spend at the beach for a day trip. (As such, I *still* haven't gotten on this coaster.) I'll grant that the area is much more family-friendly than the places I mentioned before ... but this place (with it's location further away for me than Seaside) will NOT replace Seaside as my family's 'go-to' beach destination.
When you were talking about the High Seas Log Flume you made me think that you should rank ALL the long flumes you have ridden (I know you did a top 10) or you could do a top 20 or 25

In retrospect, I *should* have waited long enough to get on Gale Force, but time was a factor and we left before I got on. Perhaps I should try to convince my wife and kids to try it once this summer, and dedicate a full day there. If we do, I will definitely try both Gale Force and that bat-like flatride.
@@CanobieCoaster That's very true. Not to put down the clientel at Wildwood, but its a kind of trashy area and in general the people that go there reflect that. There's a bunch of tattoo and piercing shops all along the boardwalk. You won't find any of that in Ocean City. It is much more family oriented, as alcohol is even prohibited on the island.
I’ve been Going to this place every year since I was six months old this review is very in accurate first of all There is a web browser there’s actually many web browsers you can go to to get the tickets half off and obviously during the summer months it’s going to be pretty crowded but if you go before dinner it’s usually not that crowded and the rides do you have chosen seating you can sit wherever you want on most of the rides
I have been here in the past few times. The rides are fun. I have a house in Avalon. Even though everything in south Jersey, is a total rip off!!!!! I will visit here summer, 2024. I adore coasters!!!!!
I like both Wonderland and Playlands but I do like Playlands better. They have many thrill rides and roller coasters that are good. Galeforce is very very good highly recommend. Gillians is for the families less thrill rides more family rides they could use a coaster

On a similar yet unrelated topic, I went back and watched your ranking of the New Jersey parks because I wanted to see where this park sat among the other piers in the state as well and I was reminded of Keansburg and how it was at the very back of the list because of how unpleasant your visit was. That got me wondering if that truly is your least favorite or if there are any other parks out there that you think are worst?
Six Gun City was in northern New Hampshire down the road from Santa's Village. The park was really rundown with rude staff when I went as a kid. NASCAR Speed Park is more of a FEC in Tennessee. Almost everything was closed and the park lied about it to try to get me to buy a wristband.
Can someone answer this quickly but can u currently walk in and buy admission there because on the website it said u have to buy tickets there and wait for it to ship to you, so can you?
I dont think ill get there in awhile im hoping 2024 yeah a long time but next yr is Ohio and winsconsin also 2023 will be CA for thr 4th time and then pa and nj
Yeah my aunt told me the offic nearby there was an electric on fire so that’s what caused it to burn but the park is fine but the arcades are gone sadly

Here's a good tip for visiting this park: Buy a bunch of 1/2 priced tickets around Easter and then use them in the summer.
Especially since they don't expire.

I do wish they opened earlier, but I've seen a lot of boardwalk parks do late openings. Palace Playland and Family Kingdom are two others.

Tropical Storm was crazy. I actually prefer Ocean City to Wildwood since it's more relaxed.

Keansburg is near the bottom. The only two worse ones for me are Six Gun City and NASCAR Speed Park.
