True varicose veins on the hands are very rare. They may be caused by a DVT of the arm or by other rare medical conditions but usually the people I see who have prominent hand veins have developed them simply as a result of getting older. You see, as we age, the backs of our hands lose collagen, the skin become thinner and it may also develop age spots or liver spots. Our hands can look much older than the rest of our body, with a bony appearance, big bulging veins and prominent tendons. Fortunately this is something that can be successfully treated. I use a combination of treatments that I call "Hand Rejuvenation". It's a combination of sclerotherapy, collagen stimulation and age spot elimination. I have developed a method of hand vein injections that I call "Gentle Sclerotherapy". It does not close off the veins completely - after all we need normal veins -- no it shrinks the veins and makes them return to a more normal size. Unlike other forms of sclerotherapy, compressions gloves are not needed. At the same time, I use collagen stimulator injections under the skin to restore volume to the back of the hand and cryotherapy -- similar to wart treatment to eliminate age spots. The result is more youthful looking hands.

I also got the same problem, my veins started showing when i was 11 and now im 13 and it has gotten bigger and bigger by the time i always ask people on what to do and they say i should see a doctor and stuff, i really want to remove it or hide it because it is really embarrasing seing that i am young and i have alot of veins on my arms can this be treated somehow?

I am 17 and I got them from a very short age ,infact it's hereditary,my mother too has them and I just love them they make me look stronger and I think it's better when our body receives more blood ,coz more blood =more energy ,isn't it?

Got it from my mom's side too. I'm 18 yrs old and 63 kg, gained 8 kg in the past 2 months due to bulking. Veins are still visible even I gained a bit. I got lucky because it's what everyone if not what most wants for those who works out.
It started appearing when I was 14 or 15, the times when I was always gaming then washing my hands later on. Thought it had an effect but turns out no studies(i think) were done if veiny arms are caused by splashing water after doing activities involving that part of your body. It was a silly folk illness we had in our country lol.
Veins can be visible due to various reasons: skin tone, gene, and weight, fat distribution.
It's all fine and dandy for men but these treatments are almost always targeted at women. We have no need to "look stronger". We don't desire to look like the Hulk! It's not a sign of strength but deterioration of collagen, dehydration and old age. Bulgy veins on small feminine hands are unsightly and rather unattractive.

I live in United Arab Emirates. The problem is not they only look so ugly but I could feel the veins touching each other and there is some pain too.
