- Fully wrapped this Mustang Cobra in Gloss bright Orange made by 3m. The before and after is just ridiculous! I love these kinds of projects.

Looks so much better and with such low mileage! Great Job!
Thank you! Thanks for watching 😎
looks dope dude! Great job on that, glad you went the extra mile to remove all the parts.
Thank you for your support and for watching our video! We like to get the job done right and do what we can to make it look painted when were finished. 😎
Wow looks sick bro,,love the way it turned out
Thank you!!
Sick guys nice Cobra
Thank you! 😎
What did y’all spray after you filled the holes? Don’t some body work on my car then wrapping after. Also what was that spoiler looks good!
We finished it with a sanded spray primer after the body work and wrapped right over the primer.
Im not sure on the spoiler, this was a customer’s car
He should have just repainted it and kept it mystic chrome. But it does look super good too though. That color paint ^ (mystic chrome) is stupid rare.
Nice!
Looks great. Any tips on wrapping the rear license plate panel? Im using Vivvid carbon
Thank you for watching our video! Unfortunately this was quite some time back and i dont fully remember how i installed the vinyl in that area. I do know however that there are inlays on the underside (above the license plate). I wish i remembered how i did that part, im sorry about that!
How much does this cost,I have a 01 gt convertible I'm thinking about doing,,just a ballpark figure,,
As a rough ballpark id say around $2500. Color, material brand, what style bumpers and aftermarket parts Are installed can all change pricing
how much gloss can I expect from a wrap and especially after ceramic coating? Trying to decide rather I should just paint or what? I have a 94 rio red that needs painting and it definitely needs either painting or wrapped. Clear is too far gone for a paint correction. If I paint i'll have it wet sand and buffed too so comparing one vs the other??
Great question! First things first, you will have to ensure the vehicle is properly prepared for vinyl installation. Since the vinyl is adhesive based you have to keep in mind that it will lift any loose clear coat during installation which will stick to the back side of the vinyl and ruin that piece. One rule of thumb to keep in mind as well is that if you can rub your hand across a vehicles surface and feel an imperfection, it will show through the wrap.
Now as for a wraps finish, it will mainly depend on which brand you go with. Nowadays when it comes to finish, 3m and Avery are not the only brands that you should be considering. A PPF install over your wrap will get you the most shine. A ceramic coat will help slightly but not as much as you are hoping for. I use ceramic coats mainly to help with protection of the vinyl.
@@ReimaginedWraps okay cool I will make sure I'll ask those questions when I go by the shop next week
@@sandmansimms5704 I'm glad I could help! Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
@@ReimaginedWraps okay appreciate it will do
My question is ,why would you wrap the car
When it has a special paint coad
Color
That devalued the car
Because one entire side of the car was wrecked and the repaint is very expensive. To repaint it would not be worth the value of a salvaged title cobra.
Also, if thats what he wanted i will make it happen
@@ReimaginedWraps gotcha
I really wanna kno how tough was that side scoop?
Not too bad with a couple of inlays first 😎
@@ReimaginedWraps ok bet. I been looking into doing my 98 gt but that and the spoiler got me reconsidering
Whats a wrap run price wise....estimated just like this
Hello Brian, without any of the sanding, prep, or body work, nowadays wed be looking at between $3000-$3500 depending on what color you were going with. This wasn’t an easy car to wrap by any means.
@@ReimaginedWraps thanks for the reply. Yes that was a ton of work but the outcome was worth the effort
Yes sir, it always is 😎
@@ReimaginedWraps 3000-3500???? Fuck!!! I’d rather paint my car for that much 😂
How much wrap did you guys use ?
I tend to buy a total of 75ft to account for any potential mistakes. Normally a 2 door car would be covered with 65ft total however
@@ReimaginedWraps thank you
@@adan6488 happy to help!
How did you guys do the fog light holes? Was it done in one piece?
Great question! Yes sir it was done in one piece. We wrapped the insides of the fog lights first before laying the rest of the panel. we made a seam on the inside of the fog light hole on the TOP and wrapped it around the circle to meet back up at the top. We had Knifeless tape around the outside of the fog light holes to give us that perfectly straight line to butt up with when we laid the main panel. Once completed if done right you cant see it at all 👍🏻
@@ReimaginedWraps awesome thanks!!! Cobra turned out great
No problem! Thank you 😎
poor mystic):
It’s not the full process because you didn’t show you wrap the front bumper which is what I needed 🤦🏼♀️
