This is a great song for a tenor. My daughter introduced me to it. I have sung it many times and it always goes over well. Really like what you have put on the internet.
Thanks for your reaction. First of all, making a karaoke video is my hobby, not my profession. You are right about the lyrics not being on screen seconds before they are due to be sung. My (not professional) programm doesn't have that option. On the other hand, after hearing/singing it a few times, normally one knows the song by heart, so it shouldn't be a big problem. The timing is accurate though (in my opinion), and besides a good backing track, that is my priority when I'm making a karaoke

Pip Ferguson. That is true. And for altos, too. The range is C#3 to G4 or C#4 to G5, respectively. These are very nice ranges for female vocalists. Haven't heard a bass version in C#2 to G3 yet but I imagine that would sound pretty amazing as well. :)

Do you think that high G of "where" at 2:47 is hard to take?? Ha, just wait until you have to hold that very last note for an eternity! I always end up quiet before the music ends... lol

Any chance you could trasnpose this into, say Bb major? I'm a mezzo-soprano and this version is gorgeous but that high G on ff is a bit of a killer. I can reach it, but my audience might not be so happy. :)
