Thank you! I have a video about home mastering: ruclips.net/video/XLGqzTjT_JI/видео.html And in the new song production series are two videos about acoustic guitar recording and guitar mixing 😁.
Useful, particularly the dynamic version. Have you tried TrackSpacer a multiband dynamic EQ? It's what I use for a similar purpose but since it's (semi)automatic there's less to set up.
this is cool but I would highly advise just cutting or boosting becuase Pro-Q3 is telling you too, just because it's telling you it's clashing doesn't mean it is, use your ears ultimately, this can be good if your stuck and need some suggestions of frequencies you could cut but honestly I wouldn't just blindly start EQing your signal, once you deepen your knowledge of psychoacoutics and truly understand what masking is it will shine clear as day when listening.
@@gffWillie I don’t think Frequency 2 indicates collisions so clearly does it? Pro-Q3 shows a read glow in the spectrum where frequencies are overlapping. But corrections are definitely possible with frequency 2 as well.
@@LanewoodStudios True, but I think the standard eq panel in Cubase 11 allows you to overlay and manipulate a second track for frequency clash detection.
@@LanewoodStudios NOPE... wrote about it on the fabfilter forum and haven't heard anything yet... super annoying... i just get a list of "pro-q" and I don't know which track is which
Thanks for good tips! "Electric guitar is stepping on the vocal too much" haha everytime man.
Of course 😉. And you’re welcome!
Thanks again. I watch it whenever I start a new song!🙂👍🏿

Thanks again and have fun with this in Pro-Q3!
This is very good, man. Just what I needed to learn right now. Thanks!
Great 👍
Thanks for the tutorial!
You are welcome!
Wow thanks.. I didn't know this can be done using FF Q3. Great tips and it worked for me so far! Got questions. How to reach you?
Great 👍. Without exposing my e-mail in a comment it's probably easiest via a Facebook on insta private message.
Thank you Mate, learned a lot with these tuts
Great!

Thanks and yes I have. Multiple people tipped me on that one 👍. Video in the works 😋.
@@LanewoodStudios Excellent! I loom forward to seeing how you use it. I find it works well as long as you use it subtly! Cheers, take care.
@@ThePlanarchist it will be in a video on separating kick and bass with compression. Probably next Friday 👍.
thank you
You are very welcome!
Thanks

What a beautiful song. Can you share raw stems for this project i believe its out already
Thank you! At the moment we’ve only released the stereo mix and there are no plans to share or release the stems I’m afraid.

Oh yes sure. Thanks for the advise!
How do you detect and solve frequency masking?
Thank you. I don't have Pro-Q3, but since Cubase 11 Pro it's now possible to do this with Frequency 2.
@@gffWillie I don’t think Frequency 2 indicates collisions so clearly does it? Pro-Q3 shows a read glow in the spectrum where frequencies are overlapping. But corrections are definitely possible with frequency 2 as well.

Yes you are right in that you can out the spectrum of two different tracks in there.
Thank you Elon Musk 👍
Ha ha, you’re not the first to say that 😉
Subscribed. Absolutely love the content you make ❤
@@ale_papa thank you!
fabfilter pro q 3 .spectrum folder ???
What is your question exactly?
💐🙏💐👌
Would it kill them to show WHICH frequencies are those that are overlapping?????
Ha ha, I guess they are showing the approximation visually. Not one exact frequency maybe?
Mine doesn't show the tracks under the various pro-qs there are.. it only numbers them and it is fucking pissing me off
Hmmm, neve had that myself (I think). Did you find out what caused it yet?
@@LanewoodStudios NOPE... wrote about it on the fabfilter forum and haven't heard anything yet... super annoying... i just get a list of "pro-q" and I don't know which track is which
@@YoungNino2017 that's annoying indeed. Are you using VST3 or VST2 versions of the plugins? Maybe that makes a difference.
