Interesting to see the data. I suspect most golfers of a slightly higher handicap would definitely improve most by working on their approach shots and short game.

My biggest stat for scoring is GIR. My driver is an asset. I can shape it either direction, and it rarely gets me in any kind of trouble. My putting is also an asset. I strive for

great content and hope you get to 5, I recently had a similar issue with my 8 and 9 iron. went and had the loft and lies checked and my 8 iron had moved closer to my 9 iron loft so maybe your 6 and 7 have the same issue.

You don’t need 3000+ shots for Arccos and data like this from anything ON THE COURSES to help you.
And as you get better which will happen with choosing the right clubs, the numbers will constantly be shifting. This helps you make better club choices and hence course management.

Been playing with Arccos almost 3 years now. Have 194 rounds tracked 😀. My driver stat is also a bit wonky like yours. Driver is not the play on 5 of 9 par 4 holes

Arccos is wonderful, it has helped my game tremendously. Thee are a few updates That they're working on to make it even better. What I'd love to see is carry and total distance for each club, a very hard ask; segregating distance off the tee with various clubs; and adding areial views and auto hazards distances for courses to the Apple watch.

arccos probably has to do total distance right?

@@tjy698 Yes, currently it only does Total distance. My desire for them to include carry distance is a huge ask and will take some amazing software development, if it's even possible. Cheers

I float between 5-8. My average drive is around 250-260 Id say. But Im a + handicap with wedges. I hit them 10:1 over my other clubs in my sim. Its the only thing I've found that I can be as good at as a tour pro.

Consider a 5 wood instead of 7W, and maybe switch to 54 and 58 degree wedges. I had to make those exact changes (and I play a 4 Hybrid like you)

The best golfers in the world have two way misses if you look at the stats. High handicappers tend to miss on the same side every time.
