Citation 2RF Heavy/Super - almost died laughing. Love it.
Same.. I wish he said, "Have a SUPER day!"
I laugh every time I watch it also! Great stuff
Is it allowed to add Heavy/Super?
Right seater Brian is a pro for sure! He had no trouble working the mic switch on the yoke. Can't say the same for me! Gear up, in the clouds. Great video...loved the convo. 2RF Super/heavy-That is good stuff! Did Brian get a comp day for this or did he have to do it on his day off? Headed over to IG to subscribe to @thenytracon now.
Premier 1 Driver He sure is a pro! Glad you enjoyed the video! In honor of you I’ve started using the side PTT button and liking it. And ha I think he worked the morning shift!
777 Pilot here for United. I'm enjoying the progression of tech on these smaller jets. Thank you >>>>>
Always had great flights with United. And the often usually older crew are awesome
Commercial airline pilots deserve more kudos. Most passengers judge a flight by the food or if it departed on time. How about the folks who get us where we're going safe and sound?? Much appreciated.
I had to watch this video a second time just to make sure I was hearing that Heavy/Super radio transmission correctly. I'm a old 100% service connected disabled Marine veteran and my piloting days ended back in the late 1950's. A lot of things have changed over my days in the cockpit.
Thank you for your service!
DITTO, Thank You for your Service!
310 Pilot husband/wife Chicago controller are a good watch too
I love Stevo and P1D. Now I get to add CitationMax and Baron Pilot to the list.
Yep. Many great channels out there now with fantastic aviation content.
ARR64Lima I agree, but I like Max because he’s American, and a young person, which is refreshing 👍
Add "captmoonbeam" as well.
@@petersnyder1241,American?? What does that mean? They're all American!🤔
ARR64Lima Baron Pilot gets blocked by my dork settings...must be the whole soft-porn clickbait thing. Dunno...
Max, back in the early 1970's when I was in ground school, a big subject we had to calculate was Air Density & Air Density Altitude. As years went by, those terms disappeared. Back then, they were so very critical to calculate to prevent stalls and confirming you'll have adequate lift for the total weight of the aircraft. That was back in the analog days. Why do I never hear those terms today when I listen to the many pilots doing their pre-flight?
Having a controller onboard is always great. Aviators should make it a point to visit a Tracon or ARTCC from time to time.
Max is so polite, his Mom raised him so beautifully. She is an awesome lady.
Thanks for taking us along Max! Nice flight and enjoyed having the ATC in the right seat!
loved this one, u guys had me crying with the "heavy", and "super" comments! awesome job mr. Max, and company!
When I was a kid I used to get carted around in a Sabreliner 60. It was modified to a 60A standard in the early 1970's I miss flying private jet aviation!!! You and Premier 1 Driver have me back in the air!!! Thanks Max!!!
Man! this video was great. I live in Chicago so naturally i love watching any approach into the city or suburbs. Best MDW video iv'e seen in a long time.
Good for your Mom for taking care of dogs. I live in New York and we got a rescue from Alabama. Lots of strays in the South.
Never have I commented so much on a video but I felt I needed to give a special shoutout to your mom! Bless her for what she does for dogs! We have adopted all our dogs over the years! They save us more than we save them, but there is SO much need for people to consider adopting rather than a breeder!
Thank her please Max!
Thank you! I’m a very very lucky person to have her as a mother! She’s the best. Thank you for what you do.
Loved seeing downtown chicago. Always an awesome approach when you come in over lake michigan. I do miss meigs field though. Used to do low approaches into there.
This is by far the most entertaining aviation clip ive watched. Just the pure humor and all this talk is great. Seen you on twitch alot and you've really taken off on youtube. Fun to see you living your dream! Fly safe and keep following your dreams
Thank you Dennis! Happy you’re apart of the journey. Appreciate the support!
Mr Max, your co pilot is a great addition to your video, hope to see & hear more in the future!.
And btw....he’s the BEST guy to run the radios! Hah! Great job, guy!
Love your videos, Max! Started watching when you were learning in a Cirrus, and I’m now enjoying your Citation flights. I also appreciate the great work your Mom does with rescue dogs... And like you both said, “Every day is a training day.” I learn something every time I watch your posts. Keep flying!!
Thank you Rick! Wow you have really followed the journey from the beginning. Thank you! Hope to keep putting out videos you find interesting. Appreciate it
CitationMax Appreciate your reply, Max. I’m also good friends with Eric Sanderman. When he lived in San Diego, I used to take him flying in my A36, back in the 90’s, and he caught the “Aviation bug!” PS: I laughed ever time they called you “Heavy!” Thx man...
Citation 2RF Heavy/Super LMFAO
Million Air. I see what they did there. Keep up the great work, man!
They just keep getting better and better! That landing Max was superb, and loved it when they were calling you Super and Heavy. Just Outstanding.
Really happy to hear that John! They are only going to get better! See ya my friend
Another great ride-A-long Max, thanks bud! Love the super/heavy calls..pro radio work right there.
Thanks Mr Ben! Cyaaaa on the next video.
Beautiful Chicago shots.
Great video. The gentleman in the right seat was a great guest; definite pro. He’s right; always learning. By the way in regards to the Hawker sim topic and switches, I miss those switches and buttons.
Great video Max ! The more I see of the Citation the more in love with it I fall ! Great assist from Brian as well !! Safe travels as always ! Best, Uncle Rudy
Thanks Uncle Rudy, happy you liked the video! Best wishes from NYC.
@@CitationMax I am on Long Island and have suffered the traffic trials and tribulations as well. Keep the great uploads coming and be well . Best, Uncle Rudy
Great video Max! I really enjoyed this one.
Nice flight guys with some great conversation and even a few laughs 👍🏼
Yes, a great view of our city on your right hand side here in Chicago...
Nice flight Max. Thanks for the ride. Fly safe
I guess you can never get a better aviation radio caller, than an actual Air Traffic Controller. Awesome what you and your Mom are doing (for Dogs/animals) with the Dog bed gig :)
Max was talking about Dog Beds and I got one for ours and it was amazing, it was as she went straight to the bed like it had been there all along. Thanks so much for sharing this idea 😊
Ok that shot of Chicago’s skyline was much better than the one on the the way to Osh! Great video Max. They keep getting better each time.
haha.. they were talking about building the Crystal Palace back in mid 90's when I was at Teterboro.
Awesome video Max!!! Such a Beautiful aircraft!!! Love the camera on the PFD! Nice to see what's going on. Super, Heavy, so cool to have fun with ATC and still be professional! Greg ( P1D) was right, you and Steveo need to do a land off!!! Sweet landing! Keep these videos coming!!!
Thanks Rob! Haha let’s set it up! I’ll take on steveo! Lol
Retired now, but I really dug those 'fam' flights when I was a controller. Both USAF & Airliners. That's back when you could show your CTO or Pink Card and get an airline jump seat. Busiest I got was at ABQ ARTCC when it was 2,000 ft abv FL290. Good ol' days. Thanks for the memories guys!
ahh .. :( the old Meigs Field.... nice flight, thanks
One thing while researching the ARTCC is I'm amazed how much overlapping there is especially in New York City. What doesn't make sense to me is why Boston Center controls airspace over the airports JFK, LGA, EWR, ISP and Teterboro when New York Center is much closer.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this trip.
Another cracking ride-along, thanks Max. 👌🛩❤
Thanks Finbar! Much appreciated my friend!
16:42 I did my PPL at Bayport (23N) which is a class G cutout out of Islip (ISP). Having FSS right there at ISP was great for getting walk-in weather briefings and printouts. Was fun attending various Open Houses they had. They were also a lifesaver for my X-Countries with Flight Following.
This video was , well "Heavy" Love it. Love my aviation family.
Ha love that! Appreciate the support!
Tight ride! You had the perfect right-seater rockin' the radios.
Cool low wx departure too!
Great work as always Max, thanks for the efforts and knocking the content out. see ya in the virtual skies!
Thanks Jeff! See ya in the virtual skies my friend.
Max should change from CitationMax to SuperMax after this video 🤣😂🤣 And his Citation now looks like this ✈️. The controller "inside" humor was epic! I guess they do have a sense of humor after all. 😂👍🏼 I like 🍪 too!
Max, you need to bring Brian along on more rides! Awesome video. Looked like a ton of fun 😎
Hey Mano, I agree! I hope Brian comes on more flights with me in the future! Thanks for the support!
How nice, a ATC send off. Super and Heavy. Brilliant and kuul to see you guys do happy in the office. Max I was interested in the start up of the M2. Could it be more easier. Great!!
Hearing ‘2 Romeo Foxtrot Super’ is hilarious. Goes to show how the ATC’s know who you are Max. Brilliant video as always!
Love your videos Max.
Thank you Michael.
Great flight, always nice breaking through the clouds out of wx.
MAX great right seat guy. Lol at the heavy comment.
Corporate Pilot Life, P1D, Steveo, Baron Pilot, & Citation Max nothing much better. 👍👍👍
Thanks Mark!
I laughed way to hard when he kept calling you guys SUPER 🤣 awesome videos, if you ever stop to Dulles and transition say hello!
AB
Andrew Burnham ha it was awesome! Will definitely let you know. Thanks
Fantastic controlled impact with the surface with those wind conditions :)
Thank you Scott!
Awesome Max, great landing. Thanks again, Colin
Also fascinating info on dog beds. Makes so much logical sense. It's their safe space.👍✈
awesome! 310 pilot and cptmoonbeam have great videos as well
TY for the Excellent Videos
Loved the shout out to Heritage here in the Green Mountains of Vermont! Cheers!
I am really happy when you gave P1D a ride. It let me see you for the first time and I at once added you to my view list. Keep it going guy. You are in with great company.
Thank you. Happy you found the channel through P1D he’s a great person.
I was dying! Nice vid. Great to see someone from the other side of the mic.
Lol me too! Was very cool to have a different perspective. Cya on the next one.
Congratulations on your recent Citation M2 acquisition! Great video
Sweet approach, i bet an night it is even better.. Very nice Max keep up the great job..
Thanks Lance. I agree, gotta try that next time!
Awesome vid Max. You don't mess around. Fly right into Ohare. Being from Chicago recognized all the landmarks. Sears Tower, Soldiers Field where the Bears play. Flying over Lake Michigan heading west looked very cool. Another great channel is 310 pilot. Kevin and Jaime are controllers who work the Chicago TRACON.They are great.
Hey Gilbert! Thanks glad you liked the video. I’ve watched 310 pilot Kevin and Jaime they are really good and do top notch videos! Thanks!
35:28 nice landing.
came back and watched again, did you see the yoke being moved, that was insane
Literally all the RUclipsrs you guys listed I watch on a daily basis!
Great flight, Max! -Superthrive
Great stuff as always. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it Brandon. Thanks!
Could you do a video on Motivation or staying motivated through the turbulence while flight training? Currently working on my instrument, stagnant and not passing practice tests for this bloody exam. I moved out to Dallas to finish my flight training from KRIR that I thought was going to be a wise move. Instead I've only flown 2 hours all year. Either guidance I need or patience... Clear Skies, appreciate all You and the rest of the RUclips Aviators.
great video Max , the banter about all the channels on youtube etc makes the flight go by quicker right ? . give my regards to the Co-pilot , not sure what sector he works at the TRACON . If he wants right seat out of KFRG in the cirrus sometime with the cameras I can try make it happen .. keep the coming
Thanks Aidan! Will do! Thanks very much
Nice shoutout to the new natca initiative
"Every day is a training day"
Super vid...enjoyed the chatter with Brian. Only comment is that you need to speak up as you are going through your takeoff procedures...hard to hear your comments on Takeoff Power/V1, etc. Being an old prop pilot...your jet jockey experiences are a delight to hear!
Jim, that’s good input. I will start to talk louder in upcoming videos! Thanks
always great arc added bonus 👍
2 Romeo-Foxtrot Super is funny. I was waiting for Speedbird like they do in the UK. Just started subscribing Max. Looks like the M2 is about the same size as P1D's Beechcraft.
Sailor Mike thanks for the sub! Definitely was awesome to hear the super and heavy stuff!
Never gonna get tired of these. But never!
You cut out the taxi at the end! That's one of my favorite parts.
Sorry! Next time we’ll leave it in!
Me too some reason i like when airplanes are driving on the ground, taxi is always interesting for some reason
Awesome! What a skyline view of Chicago. John Hancock and Sears tower ruling it. Was that Wrigley field?
Not sure if that was Wrigley! Glad you enjoyed the views.
danawalker55 The stadium on the lakefront is Soldier Field (Bears).
@@MartyBecker Thank you! Cool!😎
Nice video Max.
Amazing Landing
Man, your right seater is a pro indeed. Good team for sure.
The cookies here at Heritage were exceptional this morning!
Another awesome video! I am going to sub stevo on your recommendation.
34:50 bet those southwest pilots thought "aww crap Harrison traded in his husky for a dang jet"
I love Maxes shoes that he wears.
hey Max, glad to hear you enjoyed your trip to Dom.Rep. I am an air traffic controller in Dominican Republic and also a commercial Pilot flying the CJ3.. let us know when you plan on coming back. keep up the good content
Wow very cool! Will definitely let you know when I’m planning on coming back. Thank you!
Max you need to spend some time down south... smoking meat is a serious thing!
Love your channel sir! What a beautiful approach!
Now you just need to take a Real World RUclips subscriber for a flight :) Fantastic video Max, thanks for sharing.
Con7inuum's Cockpit that would be amazing
Beautiful Max, just beautiful!
Awesome video. Lol heavy🤔🤔🛩🛩🛩. @thenytracon great page
lol those atc guys sure were funny :D
Excellent
Brian rocks! He’s a PRO!
Thanks Mary, he sure is a pro! And a great guy.
That braking action at 35:48 :P
Awesome!
Great RIDE Max - what a conversation - thanks for sharing...Greg (B)
Thanks Greg! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Awesome.
Haha, They gave props to just about everyone on RUclips in Aviation. 😎👍
Every day IS a training day! Because if you don’t learn every day, you probably suck and don’t even know it. it was my motto for 30 years of ATC.
Your atc friend, I like his radio style as a pilot. I'm guessing his buddies were calling your flight heavy because their co-working is slightly?
Poor Meigs...Miss working there.
brad325is That scumbag Daley screwed me and a lot of others out of a bucket list item to satisfy his ego and his owners’ development dreams and basically those didn’t work out either.
