    I see the largest benefit in the ability to realistically plan a scene with the gear available and no need to change plans because the space is too tight etc. Should be a great time-saver on set, and you can be more certain that what you're trying to sell visually even has a chance to get born.

      These were exactly my thoughts. This is definitely a life/game changer for indy productions that dont have all the budget in the world to constantly recce and previs/prelight locations. While not a cheap software in itself it can probably pay itself off after the first gig

    Amazing. With this software, can we make a list of favorite elements so that we don't have to scroll through all the options every time? For example, if I own three lights, can I group those three lights in a favorites folder?

    I used an image generator to do the storyboards for my short film. It really helped the DP!

    nice! Whats the difference between Cinetracer and this one? Which one is better? Thanks!

      I discovered cinetracer after I bought this one so I didn’t actually give it a try. But I did look into cinetracer for a bit. The renders are more photorealistic in the elixxier software, but cinetracer is still not a finished product so it might be better in the future. I will definitely try it soon and update this comment :)

      I bought both yesterday and I've been playing in both for a day now. Exactly, elixxier rendering looks more realistic, and Cinetracer released cinetracer 2 which is cool also, have presets of some outdoor scenes as gas station etc. but cinetracer 2 lacks of lights and props. Lights especially. For indoor/studio stuff, I would go with "set a light 3d" and for exterior I would use cinetracer 2 as you can play with big scenes and big lights. Thanks for finding Elixxier!
      And also all your stuff on channel is good! helps pros and also ppl who wants to go into cinematography.
      Thanks!

    • @jimmyonfilm
      @jimmyonfilm  9 месяцев назад

      It works mainly for studio/indoor location work as it doesn’t have a Sun type of light. You could use a picture of an outdoor location as backdrop and simulate the natural light with artificial lighting. Maybe in the future they’re gonna upgrade it and include that

    Is there a chance to upload 3D model of a set, recorded by Polycam camera on an iPhone? I know, that I would have to add blocks, floor and walls, but having it imported "as is is" in irl, would be awesome. 😄
