I can understand why nintendo dissabled the timer once you go into those pipes from one islamd to the next , among other worlds, that’s because,,, in the nes version theres a bug in world 8 that when you go from the final part to the previous part but dying during the pip transition by running out of time, you will get sended back to the last part of world 8 BUT instead you will see the previous part of world 8, but you still can only move left & richt,, Now rather then working out that bug in the snes version, they just simply isolated it by dissabling the timer of it instead, aha so no wonder they dissabled it, now that’s pretty interesting.
Nobody likes Pipe World,neither do I. I honestly think the whole Level is complete troll on Nintendo's part especially what happens after you beat the Ship.
