Welsh is the Latin American Spanish of English accents ; sounds romantic and nostalgic whereas Scottish is the Italian; excellent for banter and for shouting but not really good to express serious feelings as its quite funny. Northern irish would be the French and Northern English has to be Portuguese from Brazil for how funny and cool it sounds.
London english would be like Russian; unique, strong yet annoying at times and Australian like Spanish from Spain; loved and hated in equal parts but always proud

Oh my gosh! I’m glad I came upon this channel by chance. Thank you RUclips algorithm. I’m not Welsh but I am told by my very very Welsh boyfriend that I am an honorary Welsh lady. 🥰
This may be strange story but I found Anthony Hopkins interesting since I was an early teenager and The Remains of the Day came out, and I saw that movie. I didn’t know anything about Wales or Sir Anthony Hopkins. There was something about him that was compelling and captivating. By the time I was 16 I told myself I am going to find an older man who is Welsh. It must have been meant to be because when I was 18 I met a Welshman who was about 36 years my senior when I went to visit Spain for my gap year before going off to college. Age really is just a number because I was in love.

You can tell Matthew Rhys from me that I know you, Rob Brydon, very well, but I didn’t know Matthew Rhys until you mentioned It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Smashing interview as well.

Still think Port Talbot with Burton,Hopkins, and Sheen trump's them all.

@@keithevans9544 My opinion wasn't combative; I merely stated that there are many Welsh actors whom also deserved a mention....it seems a tad immature to imply Port Talbot provides the cream of the crop. Having said that, I love Michael Sheen, & Richard Burton was a fantastic actor, who, in my opinion was robbed of the Best Actor Oscar for 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf'. Hopkins....I'm not as enamoured of him as the other two, if truth be told. Still a quality actor though, undoubtedly. Milland and Griffith did win Oscars though....so let's not discount them because they don't hail from Port Talbot!

@@KH-os1ef Milland was a huge star in classic Hollywood. He especially deserves to be remembered better. Hopkins, though, is certainly the most critically acclaimed of the whole lot with the most Oscars and BAFTAs. Part of his problem though is that a lot of his so-so films are the ones with huge audiences, and a lot of his very best work has been seen by fewer people. There are far more people who have seen the Thor movies than his brilliant performance in The Father, far more who watched Transformers 4 than The Two Popes, and back in the day far more who saw Hannibal and Alexander than The Remains of the Day or Shadowlands and so on. The two movies they talk about in this clip, The Bounty and Titus, were both undeserved box office flops. Hopkins at his best, though, I don't think can really be beaten.
