Will Ferrell is an American actor, comedian, producer, writer, and businessman. He rose to fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live before starring in some of the most successful big-screen comedy blockbusters such as Elf, Anchorman, Step Brothers, Blades of Glory and most recently Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga on Netflix.
Rob Brydon is best known for his work on The Trip, Gavin & Stacey and presenting the BBC One comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?

This is brilliant. I’ve seen so many interviews with Will where the host is trying to get him to act up and be all zany. Rob’s interview here really delivers a great insight into his off screen side that I’ve not seen before

Totally! Jonathan Ross' interview with Ferrell was a bombscare. He wouldn't let Will be Will and kept trying to outshine him. Not even in the same league - enraged me! Can't watch Ross after that. Covid has done wonders exposing the cool, down to earth celebs over the pretentious, brittle divas. Am late to this channel but, hope it continues to blossom. Hope it never ends up on TV - much better here on the ol' YT
I wonder if the interviewer stipulates beforehand whether the interview will be real or whether the interviewee should just treat it as a bit. You've got the extremes like "Between Two Ferns" which is obviously well planned beforehand and interviews like this where it's obviously casual and mostly off the cuff

Can't believe this was almost 2 years ago already. I swear this flippin pandemic has sped up time somehow. 2020 and 2021 just disappeared. Anyhow, funny interview and I'm impressed how much Will was laughing being a comedian and all. His type of humour is an acquired taste but he has been funny in a lot of things. Great work Rob

These are really absolutely top quality zoom interviews. Pretty much the best I've seen in the last 5 months.
Rob is not using his laptop camera. He has a real camera and proper lighting.
@@dimitreze You'd think the likes of the US talk show hosts would have been at least this standard though - none of them are. Also, it's not just the lighting, these seem far more natural and easy to watch. You'd think Rob had done this for twenty years at least.

Rob is a brilliant interviewer. A masterclass at knowing when to be quiet and the right thing to say. Loved it.

Now this is a proper Chat show, not one of those TV shows where the guests are only ever on to sell stuff. They're not chat shows anymore just Celeb QVC.
Been watching The Trip series, showing my girlfriend who has never seen any of them. It still baffles me how entertaining it is.

Rob brydons timing is impeccable, the way he goes from serious point seemlessly in to a joke is perfect
Brydon, absolutely love your setup. Talking directly at camera while speaking to Will Ferrell makes it seem like I'm in the conversation. Casually sitting sideways to the desk I guess was half random but it comes off natural and disarming. Sound and video quality is top notch. Well done!!

Hi Rob. Ive gone thru all of your podcasts, Brydon&, on my road trip around Tasmania, and now Im ready for these. Im sure they will be as delightfully entertaining as the Pods. And now I cant peel a banana without thinking of Julia Davis "reaching in" I can never not see that.
Superb work. Rob is a natural interviewer in that he has a skill that many contemporaries don’t : he knows how to listen. And Will Ferrell is such a natural entertainer. His Eurovision movie out recently is hilarious.
Another fantastic video. Nice to see two human beings being kind to each other and laughing at our common humanity. Keep it coming!

i think half an hour would be perfect. maybe 40 min, not more. at least for my taste.
I think 15 mins is perfect. That way, you can get people back in the future if they and you think they have more things that are interesting to share.
