I am from Wales and I can tell you that Matthew is considered a legend right across the country. In fact most people have a photo of Matthew in their house and in some cases people will have shrines. When I finish shearing the sheep I will often find meself coming down the mountain with my friend Dafydd and we will say to eachother lets watch some Matthew Rhys shows. He is simply the best and he once shagged my sister, she said his penis was long and majestic. RIP Matthew Rhys

The titles of the two videos posted today are mixed up. This one is the Gourley and Sona insurrection. The other video with that title eventually gets to some Welsh curse words.
Sona was in charge, so makes sense.

Just started watching The Americans and he has been so bloody brilliant in every way and in every scene whether the circumstances were violent or tender and vulnerable.

I speak some Scots Gaelic and the best description I've heard is "it sounds like a series of increasingly angry repressed sneezes"

I’d love for Conan to do a proper segment in Ireland
Some of my ancestors were from Waterford - I lived in London and brought my parents over ten years ago and went with them to Waterford. It was the trip of a lifetime for them - such a special place. They aren't able to travel now, and so I am so glad we did it when we did.

Conan is always trying so damn hard to cater to the guest that he sometimes says complete bullshit. I am European and I have a degree in literature and the Americans have an amazing storytelling tradition. It's just different from Europe, Britain, etc. obviously
American oral folktales aren't intentionally funny though. We don't have that jokey storytelling tradition. We have comedy and we have great satirical literature, but the whole "Irish fact" thing isn't an American tradition, it's pulled in from other traditions. There's a difference between storytelling traditions and literature.
