It's funny because at the start of the video you were describing their parents and guessed that the babies will have a feisty personality as well, but they ended up being sooo sweet, gentle and easy to handle ❤
Except for that one spicy boi in particular.
Maybe the 2 cancel each other out
Wait until they shed! Lol 😂
@@Sallyxyz1 I'm not sure spicy and spicy-crazy cancel each other out...
@@Magpie5yndromehmmm hopefully
I'm so glad Emily and Ed are proactive about reducing the suffering of any of the snakes, even from hatching. Ethical breeding ftw!
i know right! love them for that (ofc not only that)
957th like 👍
I think in my honest opinion they’re the best at what they do
Emily: "aw babies!🥺"
VS
Ed: "do you think there has ever been a clutch where the mum has stuck them so well that a baby can't get out of the egg because it's covered in too many other babies?😐"
There are two tupes of people
I remember having the same thought as Ed at one point and it made me so glad they started separating clumps
I’ve wondered that myself
since some of their clumps turned very rotten, probably
@@HissyFitPet It does happen. When there's an egg on top of another, if the baby tries to exit above the fluid drains down and the baby drowns. Kevin Mccurley (New England Reptile) talked about it recently.
Is it just me or is it hard to believe these are bull snake babies? They're so chill and not strike-y/sassy at all?
Edit: Poor kinked baby. :(
Honestly, I didn't even really register that, until one struck after the kinked bb was pulled out.
wait till they shed
they r too sassy
These babies are so well behaved - unlike their dad, mister "has bitten the most employees" 😂
He kept all the mischief for himself XD
Bitter of the month: Circus
Anyone surprised?
I guess it's a case of 2 negatives make a positive lol
Is it me or these babies were SOOOO well mannered for Bullsnakes hatchlings!!!! ❤
I was thinking that as well! Even the sassy one at the end was mild compared to most baby bullsnakes. They're such characters. 😂
Yea especially considering their parents can be very sassy
Maybe... *Cantankerous+Crazy=(Kinda)Chill* ??!
These are the nicest bullsnake babies I think I've ever seen
I think they've mentioned before that babies were very nice when newly hatched then become spicy noods after they shed😂😂
That is the calmest, quietest clutch of bull snakes I've ever seen you hold.
They decided they didn’t want Emily and Ed to be right about them 😂
Cute❤
I do appreciate and respect how real you guys are while staying uplifting….thank you for including the kinked baby
Thank you for not flinching away from the subject of birth defects and death / loss in breeding, I genuinely appreciate that out of such a “family-friendly” channel like Steve Irwin. He may be gone, but you guys keep that same feeling alive. Thank you 💗
I feel so bad for the kinked baby. He was so determined, he even came out of his egg despite his deformity. He got to see the world and meet his siblings 😢
I of course know it’s best to let him go humanely but it’s still very sad.
I feel the same. Usually when they have culls they're already really out of it and weak, but the kinked baby was moving around despite the issue. Felt like they deserved a chance, but I can't imagine what could be done for them.
@@iPyromantic I was thinking maybe being given smaller food more often to hopefully have a chance of getting past the kink since it seemed so eager to be alive, but I don't own or work with snakes so there's probably a reason that wouldn't work
@@TenkoshimuraAkashigaraki sadly that kink was basicly to twisted around its heart it would be to narrow for food to get past it and it would squeze on the heart if it would pass by its very sad to see stuff like that happen in any animal❤️🩹
Think of it this way- he got you see and do that stuff, when maybe he otherwise wouldn't
Love Ed’s proud “of course I did” about playing with dolls ❤🥰
One of my favorite parts too!!!!😊
Yesss. At some point, ppl are around babies. So...why not toys? It's a stupid gender norm and I'm glad it's going away
IKR! That was so sweet! 🥰
It was such a little moment but amazing to see, especially since just that one little phrase may help people break through any gender norms forced on them and see that what they like is ok and normal because Ed the cool snake guy they look up to feels the same
Yeah, my little brother has three sisters, and they're not all like me, so dolls were inevitable. My youngest sister was *so* annoyed when she'd try to play Barbies with him because he kept turning the house into a fort.
I love Emily's unbridled enthusiasm for babies!
Same. My local reptile shop always has baby ball pythons and i love to oogle at them through the glass.
So do I she's better then other channels which sounds disappointing or disgusted when they dont get the snake they were hoping for or a normal like they are bored and could careless
@@GiulianoMazzina You have a local reptile shop? Lucky.
All I've got is a crappy chain pet store that sells random fish, a couple hamsters and a up to 6 rabbits at any given time.
I’d love to know which babies you hold back this year, who else is excited to see all the baby snakes??? :D
Me too!
Yeah!
Yess❤
Meeee!
A hold back video would be cool!
I love how Emily doesn't even notice the *Spicy Noodle Attacks* sometimes anymore🤣 this has to be the first and only clutch of bullsnake babies I've seen that haven't been all simultaneously prepared for war!!
I really love how Emily explains why you would euthanize/cull a snake in captivity and what would happen in the wild. It’s just something about how she explains it that’s just super awesome. ❤
My 3 year old granddaughter loves watching the baby snakes hatch! I bought her some little play snakes and she is now making baby bins for them! You two are great! Thank you!
At least one of those babies remembered he was a bullsnake. That clutch was so chill
I LOVE how that little Bullsnake at the very beginning was like "no thank you, I would like to not be looked at," and was just a head underneath his siblings. Great Job Emily and Ed! Poor Heart baby and Kinked baby, but nature can sometimes be cruel.
That baby with Mama Monroe at the end is so cute, just chilling on Monroe as she slithers with that tiny little head tilt, like it knows... "I got my Mommy!"
Also I just noticed these babies are the nicest bullsnake babies I’ve seen so far.
I was just thinking that😂😂😂
Maybe 2 angry parents cancel eachother out and make nice babies lol
@@3headedpuppy Lol that would be interesting. But Monroe seems to be one of the more calmer and nicer bullsnakes I’ve seen on their channel (along with Snow White). Maybe they just inherited her niceness and non of Circus’s… Circusness.
It's such a credit to you guys that you show us not just the good stuff but also the bad. You show us the truths of snake breeding.
They are not bleeding it's just egg veins It's normal they break it After they're trying to hatch anyway it's perfectly fine
@@karenramsey1232 Yeah, they say that in almost every baby hatching video. If you're talking about what I said in my comment, you might want to reread it. You're mixing up your Ls and your Rs.
@@karenramsey1232they said bReeding not bLeeding
It goes to show that they are ethical breeders that they are willing to show the down side and the unhealthy ones it shows that they are truly honest. Sorry that you had to deal with that it must be tough.
Who remembers their first snow bull snake clutch? It was emoji themed and one of the babies got their head stuck so when they asked if it was okay it went "slurp!" back in the egg, so cute. It took them a minute to realize but once they saw red eyes they knew, they had snows.
❄️
I customize and collect dolls, and I can honestly say that while building and keep vivariums is a lot like doing up a dollyhouse, I've never had a single doll beg for rats to eat like my BP does. (thank goodness) On a more serious note, thank you for showing the hard fact that it is kinder to a hurting baby animal to painlessly let them go than keep them to make ourselves feel better, even if our human hearts would love to save them all.
This comment makes much more sense by the end of the video 😂
You just havent been finding the right dolls! Haha
@@L0rdOfThePies Right? I've considered maybe branching out to Monster High, them things look HUNGRY.
Love how that first baby to hatch was just casually watching you cut open eggs. Yay I love baby season🎉. What a beautiful clutch. My favorite is the feisty noodle.😊
Yeah, that one had the "hey whatcha doin'? Ooo... Can I help?" vibe. Adorable!
Emily: “Oh! I have my new nose!” That was so cute and hilarious!! 😂🤣
I admire they show the good and bad of snake breeding as it can be so educational and shows the reality of breeding snakes
Ooo, babies!!!
As a heartpatient myself, I'm actually kinda fascinated by the idea of seeing a snake's heart. It's always unfortunate to see the ones that don't make it, but that's simply part of the circle of life. There are a billion tiny things that can go wrong in creating a living creature, and sometimes something will go wrong in a way that prevents the creature's survival. You do your best to make sure each one that does make it gets a good life, and that the ones that won't make it don't suffer. That's kind of all you can do.
I'm sorry about the two you lost, but I'm glad you do the educational side and not just the super exciting breeder side, thank you guys for this. Hug some snake babies and hope for more amazing morphs.
I love how, even after all these years and all these clutches of eggs, Ed and Emily are still so genuinely happy to see every new baby
It's almost like the parent's spiciness cancelled each other out! Such gentle bebes :D!
That is a handful of earthworms and you cannot convince me otherwise.
Also RIP to the two little babies ❤️
My boa gave birth a few days ago, seeing babies hatch (or be born) is crazy and such a cool experience! Thank you guys for the interesting videos
Emily's face when she's holding a bunch of baby snakes... one day I hope to experience that level of pure, unadulterated joy.
Emily: You played with dollies as a kid
Ed: Of course I did.
Just another reason why I love these two.
Hi snake discovery I’ve been watching you guys since I was seven years old. I just want to say you guys help me through some hard times in my life and you guys inspired me to get some snakes of my own.
As someone who grew up with Steve Irwin, this hit me like a sack of bricks. I’m so glad someone has picked up that torch.
All the babies are soooo cute!
RIP to the two babies.
I'm really glad you show and explain that breeding isnt all sunshine and rainbows, i feel it is something that sneaks up on many new pet owners that decide to breed their citters reguardless of species.
I've never seen a clutch of baby bull snakes be so well behaved. 😂 There was only one sassy baby; so far 🤣🤣. It is a beautiful clutch of babies!
I can't with the first hatched baby popping up and just watching as you cut the other eggs lol. His lil face at 7:49 is soooo cute 🥰🥰😍
BULLSNAKES!! Aaa, they’re so cute!!!
Also, we need an updated tour of all of your reptiles
Can we just appreciate the editing for adding the actual "dark mark" when Ed said it? 😅
I do appreciate that you show the darker side of breeding despite it not being uplifting or fun to watch. It’s sad, but it’s reality. Since this channel and your business in general has a large following of kids and younger folks, it’s important that they learn the reality of owning, caring for and breeding animals. And I applaud you guys for being brave enough to put that out there. And thank you for taking care of the ones who just aren’t going to make it, and giving them the best chance they have or a human end to their suffering. You guys really seem like you care about your animals and it’s great to see!
I remember when you first had snows, still just as exciting. Emily’s happiness is infectious
I have had a life long fear of snakes but watching your videos have helped me appreciate them and lesson the fear thank you
Same. Showed my father in law the babies in this vid and he asked if it ever gives me nightmares. I said no, actually the opposite. I used to have nightmares about snakes as a child but now that I’ve watched so many cuties I haven’t had one since. Ty Snake Discovery!
I love how Emily’s always excited for more baby snakes😂🥰
The little overachiever just creeping from under the eggs was hilarious!!!
I know you've said it a million times, but thank you for explaining the blood in the eggs. I had stumbled/been algorithmed onto one of your videos when you didn't explain that and got scared. XD Now it's just comforting to hear whenever you say it.
Beautiful babies! It's very sad about the kinked noodle baby but at least Emily and Ed let it go gently with the last act of kindness
The infectious serotonin of baby hatching vids... best way to start a day!
Babies will literally never stop being so adorable😍
Emily's enthusiasm for the babies makes my heart so happy!
LOL "don't see any dark marks"... (my brain literally) yes, they're not Voldemort eggs :D - LOVE the beautiful snakes and thank you for sharing all your highs and lows.
Wasn't there another one a few years ago that developed inside-out? Or am I just having deja-vu? Poor things. I'm glad you guys are so caring and proactive about their health.
I think so? I vaguely remember that being mentioned a while back
It's a failure of the abdominal wall to close so it does happen. Happens in human pregnancies too
@katiekane5247 but usually doctors can shove everything back in .-.
That little Kinked baby was adorable. i hope it did not suffer during the moment they were with us
Its so joyfull to see someone so happy over such cute lil BABEHS
Love the enthusiasm you express for the babies! Such joy!😅
Ugh…😑how is that joyful
@@Sammysaurus The enthusiasm for the little ones! I really love to see how they are with them! Joy tends to be contagious! I'm glad to be infected by it!
I don't have snakes but I just love these videos so much, it's so exciting. I love that you explain in the beginning what to expect specially as I'm no snake expert. You are awesome Emily and Ed.
I used to watch you all the time before the pandemic, Im so excited that I could find you again.
When you started talking about doll houses for the snakes, I immediately thought of the time my brother’s snake got out and we found it in our Barbie house, curled up on a chair.
Snows have got to me one of my favorite morphs in any kind of snake! 😍 My goth self does love pure black/mostly black snakes, too. Gotta have that duality.
I don't think Emily could be happier or more excited.if she gave birth to a human baby. Love that. Congrats to the proud parents! 🙂❤️
These babies were so well behaved compared most baby bulls 😊 that was so cute to see ❤ and I'm exited it's hatching time ❤🎉❤🎉
Can't wait to see more babies 🐍 and especially excited for the new corn snake mystery babies 🎉❤
Emily: these babies are going to be really sassy
The babies turn out to be one of the calmest baby bull snakes they have ever had 😂
New life makes me so happy. I lost my cat this week, and this fills my heart with so much joy. ❤
So many lil worms!!! Absolutely adorable 🐍
When Emily and/ or Ed say “It’s way down in there” I get a few images popping up:
#1- Emily keeps looking into the egg, going deeper and deeper until climbing into the egg and coming back out in Rex’s pool
#2- egg opens and like.a clown car more and more keep coming out
#3- similar to Mary Poppins you get a snake, water bowl, uvb light bulb and finally Rex coming out
Super weird and silly but it still cracks me up even after ~4-5 years 😂😂😂
I’ve never appreciated snakes before finding your channel! Love watching them hatch 18:35
Those are some big babies oh my goodness 😆
Also p.s. I love how Ed saying he played with dolls with his sister shows he's been this precious his whole life and you can't change my mind! XD
What an awesome clutch! Hope Circus and Monroe will be a repeat pairing, and hopefully the kinky baby was just a one-off.
Honestly Snow Ghost as a Morphname sounds metal af 😂
Such a pretty clutch!
I've been so excited for this clutch to hatch! I have one of Monroe's 2021 false ghost babies and he's just the best boy! Monroe makes the prettiest babies!
Wow they behaved so well, I was expecting much more sass. They are all so beautiful, I love the first baby just watching you cut eggs lol. R.I.p to the babies that didn’t make it x
Monroe is sooo pretty 😍 Never really been into Bullsnakes but I could definitely be interested in a ghost like her, she’s so pretty💖
I've never seen Minnesotans so excited for snow
I love your videos. I am actually petrified of snakes but love watching the videos. I wish there was some one like you around here to help me get over my fear.
What a stunning clutch! A handful of snake babies you produced….that is happiness! I can’t wait to experience that, and you guys are such a help and inspiration! I am just so genuinely happy for your success!!!!
IM SO EXCITED TO SEE MORE BABIES HATCH OUT🥰😍🤩
Baby season!!!!!!!
I love how sassy baby bull snakes are. Hopefully one day I’ll have one of my own ❤
I love baby season and seeing all the different teeny danger noodle morphs hatch
Congrats with how far you’ve come!! I live across the us map but we may be coming over to Minnesota at the end of September. Hopefully I’ll see you guys!!
I would not complain if my mom would take me to see snake discovery for my 21st but she's planning on taking me to a bar
I'm gonna save up to visit them, I'm so excited
White-side is probably my favorite morph of bullsnake! They are so cute
I love Ghosts and Snows. Probably my all time fave video was that clutch that was expected to be ghosts and then Ed noticed the red eyes and they realized there were snows!
So many pretty babies, I am glad to see so many healthy babies. It is sad to see the two not develop right but I am glad they are in your hands, double so that one who was so badly kinked. I know some breeders wouldn't handle that snakes properly. But, back to the happy things, I am glad to see so many snows, ghost, and white-sided babies!
Aww!! I always look forward to your hatching videos and i love the sassy bulls!! These are so nice though quite funny Hope to see more of them! Poor little kinked baby ❤❤
“Heard me say this 100 times” *STILL has to correct himself on outside vs inside* 😂
It’s really cool to think that because of the way snakes are in the wild (the fact they leave the clutches behind to hatch) that the baby ghost snake at the end got a once in a lifetime piggyback ride from its mom
Love that for him
Your channel is amazing and you have taught me how to identify most snakes in my area!🤓
I actually screamed “ eeeeeeeh new baby snakes “ and my sister stared at me like I just hit someone her face was like 😳
Omg haha that is awesome
I think I commented this last year or something but I'll say it again: I srsly love this time of year which I have internally nicknamed "Baby Snake Gacha." XD
Em and Ed need to putt a chart up on morphs and crosses, and stuff. Some of us need picture to follow along with understanding the genetics stuff.
They have videos on it
Wow! Great clutch! Those baby snakes are beautiful! So 2 Ghosts, 5 White Sided, and 6 Snows. Nice! The Snows almost look like a worm if you don't see the yellow stripes. And the shedding White Side was cool too; you can see the faded color in the scales.
Nice job! I love your snake laying and hatching videos!
Emily: no hatching while we’re gone, okay?
My brain: and thus was a deal broken….
My heart goes out to those two babies ❤ and they were all so adorable 🥰
I just discovered y’all’s channel! New subscriber, now I’m binging all your videos! Love how enthusiastic you are about your snakes and educating your followers on this channel. Thank you for all the hard work and love you put in to what you do and the videos you share. I’m really looking forward to learning more from you ❤️
I am loving this! This is my first year watching the babies hatch right when the videos release! I joined this year for my little girl and I'm nore interested than she is lol. I'm so excited to see the rest of the babies hatch!
You guys should try do a time lapse of a full incubation period from day of laying to hatch 😊
Or even hibernation
Great idea!!!
That's like 2 months or more of footage?
Dear Emily,
I don't have social media so this is how I'm choosing to reach out. I want to say thank you so much for your influence in my life. If not for you and Doug I'd still be terrified of snakes. Thanks to you I learned that snakes are not creatures to fear. You inspired me to find channels like Wickens Wicked Reptiles and Clints reptiles. I fell in love with Doug and am now 3 days away from owning my Boa. They are such fascinating animals and I never would have given them a chance if not for your channel.
To anyone who takes the time to read this I have a question. What should my new girl's name be. I'm debating between Nagini and Medusa.
Thank you so much for all you do to educate people about these amazing animals,
Scott
Personally, I like the name Medusa! and congrats on your new Boa! i hope you have a very happy life together!
Medusa
I’m glad you show when there is bad news with a clutch so people learn the reality of animal husbandry and understand that life and death are intertwined.
I love Emily's face with all the babies snakes 🐍 she lights up, it's great to see, we can't see Ed's face but in his voice we can tell he was excited too love these guys xxxxx
