Well, it's that time again. I'm super proud how Ed evolved from being a "behind the scenes" guy to looking so comfortable in front of the camera. Ed and Emily are such great ambassadors for reptiles. Thank you both 😊❤

I adopted Tiny Tim the bearded dragon from Snake Discovery on a live adoption and have been watching them for a few years now. Because of them I have come to appreciate reptiles so much and now see the beauty in all of them. For the first time in my life a few months back at our local small town reptile store (shout out to Bilby’s Ballroom in Owensville, OH where we get our supplies and such) I was able to first pet a snake and then now hold it. The one I hold is a sweetheart and he is beautiful. I am so surprised how he feels and the way his body moves is amazing. I’m so glad I found this channel! I am very close to my Tiny. My Dad passed away December 15th (his birthday) and we drove from Ohio to my home state of ND. Took our chihuahuas with us but a friend took care of Tiny. We put our Alexa by his enclosure so we could drop in to say hi. When we got back I was just floored by something, my two chi’s showed me love but not like other dogs I have had before but when I took Tiny out he crawled up and nuzzled in my neck. The tears just came and he just kept nuzzling. Since then he has been so cuddly. I am in aww of how much love is between my dragon and I! Thank you Emily and Ed and Snake Discovery for this whole new world and experiences. ❤😊 sorry long.

I agree, when I was in grade 1, we had a snake group bring snakes to my school and the bully put a snake down my back, so I was afraid of snakes till this day, but watching SNAKE DISCOVERY!! Has eased my fear of them

i have florida blue garter snakes and i can confirm ..........THEY LOVE SWINGS. they have several bird swings they bask and sleep on all the time. Just make sure there are no fuzzy tassles because they get stupid and try to eat them
Considering the normal diet of a garter snake is worms and snails this makes pretty good sense.

I sent the japanese & korean snacks! I’m glad you figured out the poppin cookin instructions were on the box! You can probably google the instructions for the other set since i realized they were only in japanese :) (Also the dalgona candies are supposed to be broken, put them on some ice cream or sprinkle it on a latte!)

The other New Zealand bird is a tui... pronounced Two-wee. otherwise know as the parson bird, as they have a priest collar. Marmite is the best, but you need to thinly spread on hot buttered toast. or use a spoonful in your gravy to add flavor and colour.

G-Shock makes decent watches at a great price. Ed’s is $140 and the two that are alike are, I think, $120. A friend of mine has 30+ of them and some run over a thousand dollars. That was a really nice gift. I’d like a Snake Discovery/G-Shock collab.
G-Shock and Baby-G watches are the ones recommended for military service where I live! I'm actually wearing my Baby-G right now. Great quality watches, the only difference is that Baby-G is slightly smaller in size and thus less likely to overwhelm smaller wrists.

Maybe I’m too cautious, but the anonymous person who sent over $500 worth of watches makes me uncomfortable. The “thank you if you know what I mean” feels like a dog whistle to something and ending the letter with “I’m planning on finding you in public even though you don’t know who I am even if…” is genuinely bizarre. I’ve had bad experiences with some people online, so I just want to advise caution around anonymous gifts with vague letters like that. Unfortunately you can never really know someone’s intentions. Stay safe.
I was feeling this as well. Maybe they weren’t supposed to send the watches or they’re some sort of high status person I doubt that though. But it makes me uncomfortable and hopefully Ed and Emily will look into it! 🙏🏻

20:48 I have an articulated 3D printed dragon similar to that, just different colours & horn detail. I'm blown away by how detailed it is & by how many parts there are & by how it's put together--it's literally printed all in one piece, yet the parts can move. There's no possible way the pieces were snapped together--it was printed in place. Everyday, we're getting closer to Star Trek-level replicators. Amazing stuff.

Kukulkan is an alternate name for Quetzalcoatl! Used mostly in North Eastern Central America and Mexico. I've studied Mayanology and history for my own interests as a sort of folklorist, so I know all kinds of random facts about mythical animals. Kukulkan/Quetzalcoatl is my favorite deity of the Americas. I mean, he's basically a dragon!

The Buldok spicy noodles are some of my favorites!! My girlfriend and I like making a meal of it by eating it with rice and some fried eggs on the side!
I either add some peanut butter or a cheese slice and a runny egg to the noodles. It sounds weird, but it's insanely creamy and delicious.
In the Netflix show Brothers Sun there is a character that eats some sort of Korean instant ramen as a snack. She just opens the package, pours the soup mix in and eats it as is with no water or any other liquid added,

I think marmite is really nice! But it’s only good on buttered toast spread really thin so it’s light brown, hope you feel brave enough to try it one day!
Vegemite is good imo but it is rather strong in flavor.
