Thank you for this record of Irina as she is today. I sailed on her in 1967 or 1968 from Salcombe when she belonged to the Island Cruising Club. Wonderful experiences. So good to see her again…
Yep. Lots and lots of 'love' needed (or a big bank account to hire it out) to keep one of these beauties looking beautiful. But so much worth the effort when so many like us "ohh and ahhh" over it!!! Sometimes, I think we need to look at people who conserve pieces of art like this in the same way that intelligent people look at those who preserve the works of the Rembrandts, da Vincis, Vermeers,, etc. If not for their love of art and beauty, it wouldn't be there for the rest of us to enjoy. I think that this summer while I'm out on the water playing 'Redneck Yacht Club,' I'm gonna' start toting "coldies" over to the captains and owners of the classic boats I encounter.
I actually run racehorses, and this so much reminds me of the fine old breeding lines from History, she looks perfectly bred with such clean, splendid lines. Truly Splendid……..
Don't call it a yacht call it a sailboat. I associate yachts with those vulgar oversized motor powered party boats. With equally vulgar rich people. These people are wealthy obviously but they are not vulgar and love the boat not the badge. Love sailing not partying.

That well-worn phrase, "they don't build them like they used to," has never been more true than with this example. Pure, grace-filled beauty.❤
Classic of classic - no doubt. Beautiful weekender with a record. Lots of maintenance and work. Costly in upkeeping.

Beautiful boat. Very nice video.

Stunning boat, gorgeous. It's a pity the video resolution is too low to do it justice.

Лееров вообще нет. Опасно.
No railing is a great danger. Whose responibility is the death of a drowned child?
And not a life jacket in sight!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yacht#Etymology They even ruined the word "yacht".
Garbage music, far to loud, u don't need music to make it exciting , just let us see the boat, very simple.
It is a pity you blither away emotionally without saying anything about the boat
