Your how to videos are fantastic! My foreman 500 had a stuck needle, so no fuel, no start. Cleaned the carb as per you videos and it starts and runs great! My 2005 has a small inlet strainer on the fuel inlet of the carb. It will fall out when you tilt the carb so be aware. Thank you for the videos.
Great instruction! Thank you very much! I was struggling removing the white dual wire clip, because it connected at a place I couldn’t get to. You demonstrated the clip that I needed to release. Thanks!
Glad to hear that!! We have a bunch out and a bunch more coming on the Rubicon. Make sure you subscribe to our channel so you know when they get published. Thanks for watching.
Sometimes that is the only way to do it. Especially if that boot is stiff. Thanks for watching and the comment. Check out our other Rubicon videos: ruclips.net/video/-K4r6vd3-PA/видео.html
Thanks for the video! My Honda is from maybe 2008 or something so it isn't exactly the same as this one, but the carb seems to be pretty much identical. It is just more difficult to remove because of all those covers that would have to be removed first. Very poor design I must say. Anyway, I haven't managed to remove my carb completely, but it is almost there. I'm just not sure if the issue is with the carb only. My Honda is dropping fuel and it is coming from the carb, but when I was trying to remove the carb and I had shut the fuel off but when I removed the fuel line it ran the tank empty though it. I only had like 0,5 litres in it, but all of it dripped off. Surely the fuel knob in off position should stop fuel from entering the fuel line? Again, thanks for the video. My Honda manual is fairly thick but there's nothing much about maintenance of the ATV. This video was very easy and comfortable to follow to.
Sounds like you have a bad fuel valve as well as a stuck or bad needle valve. Fuel valve (petcock) should shut the fuel off (in the off position) The needle valve should shut the fuel off when the the carb bowl is full. We rebuild these for customers if you're interested. Otherwise you can purchase this carb kit: amzn.to/46fzFoa and watch this video to rebuild: ruclips.net/video/xf9fa5kYBLU/видео.html
I'm having problem replaced carb ran fine for a day started dieing while idling so turned the idle screw up ran good but after it sits it will idle high turn screw back down runs fines then starts dieing its a back fourth fight please help
thanks for the reply! im still having some problems with my quad, its a 08 foreman 500 was once a Electric shift now its a foot shift, my gear lights flash and i can only go 38 mph before it pops and bangs and loses power for a second, the it comes back and loses it again, im not sure what the problem is anymore
Those plungers stick in there. Pull your carb or get it to a point you can get a little WD-40 in that orfice. Let it sit for awhile. Sometimes days and get a flat screw driver and carefully turn it so you free up your plunger. Then you can pull it out!!
mine just started smoking today, the carb had been leaking unless i turn off petcock, like alot, and had intermittend smoking from carb, but after a short ride today, it cut out on idle, and i must hold some throttle f or it to stay started, and then when i give it any more than what is needed to remain at idle it smokes, smells like gas. hopefully the carb clean will do the trick and a new petcock....anyone else think thats my issue?
I felt like holding the carb up and roaring, like the alien in Predator. Thanks!

Great video only had trouble when it came to pulling the carb out. I had to take the air filter box out that way I could pull the carb straight back.

the big sensor on the side of the carb, what does it do?

My ATV won't start unless I pull my throttle cable up. When I let go it shuts off.
Your pilot jet is clogged. Have you had your carb apart?
My choke won't pull out of the carburetor. The nut is loose
