- Redondo Beach is one of the three Beach Cities located in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 66,748 at the 2010 census, up from 63,261 at the 2000 census. The city is located in the South Bay region of the greater Los Angeles area.
Redondo Beach was originally part of the 1785Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant that later became the South Redondo area. The city's territory has an unusual shape including an area along the beach (South Redondo Beach) and another strip inland from Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach (North Redondo Beach). The primary attractions include Municipal Pier and the sandy beach, popular with tourists and a variety of sports enthusiasts. The western terminus of the Metro Rail Green Line is in North Redondo Beach.

i grew up in Redondo Beach. i currently live in atlanta, GA, but i sure do miss Redondo Beach. thanks for this video
If you live in southern California
You experience just about everything you name it it s there
You don,t need to go see the rest of the country
L.A. ghettos are not as bad as Detroit, Baltimore and some other places. Actually even LA ghettoes are pretty nice these days and the murder rate is low. Plus the beach is still only 10-15 minutes away.
From Arkansas, but grew up in Redondo Beach. Came back to Arkansas in 1974...
I used walk there
I miss it
Now. I live in the Texas
Can,t wait to comeback to gorgeous southern California
I am supposed to be studying for a marketing final, and I ended up here. Oh well. Now I know where I want to possibly live when I am done exploring the world and ready to find a "home". Thank you for sharing! :)
Beautiful... just beautiful... used to have breakfast at Star Bucks (Riviera Place) every morning... Talked to so many kind people... visited so many places... palm trees, sun, warmth, big cars, everything's so clean and tidy.
Miss it a lot.

And you stopped before you even got to the Redondo pier! Or showed Veteran's park with it's gorgeous old library building and tree. :(
I know every single inch of that drive and recognized many of the buildings.
Redondo never gets any attention
I grew up in Torrance Redondo beach was my life boogie boarding bodysurfing im 59 now live in Oregon dreaming of the days
I love this place. Expensive as all hell, but it's a damn fine town.
501 Esplanade #117, was there 2 years but went running back to NJ.
Born and raised as a local. The Esplanade was run down apartments where hippies, stoners, and surfers lived. I could write a book about our life growing up in the late 60s through the 80s. I lived on Avenue D on the water for about a year or two. My daughters still love Redondo, though we don't live in Cali no more. We are there just about every week or two for business, eat a Kincaids, a beer at Naja's. Sweet life is Redondo
i live here!!!
Beautiful! loved the architecture of some buildings, really fine concept!
Ahhh yeah, I gots to move here!
Hi JVC did u drive up into the hills of Palos Verdes when you were in Redondo. The views from there are breathtaking, and the community there makes you feel like you are in a different part of California. Check the place out if you didnt go there
