Nothing against bergerons offensive game but if you had stamkos and Point as your primary centers you're going to eat. That being said id still give it to Kucherov but it is close ish
Slight correction because he wasn't. He was the only one to win it on the losing team, based off his play in the *FINAL* A total of 5 players so far have won on the losing team
Thanks for mentioning Robert Thomas. Made the roster draft +1, helped win the cup in his rookie year. Continues to improve, plays both power play and penalty kill. While hitting point per game mark.
Wyatt Johnson is amazing and will be great player for a long time. but after watching Boeser this season he was defiantly better offensively and he was a defensive beast doing all the little things
Great video. You could do another tomorrow by picking the same list but using the best career thus far and you'd likely get a different player in every spot. Thanks.
Great vid bud. Keep up the great work. A little upset Dawson Mercer didnt even get an honorable mention for 18th but im biased as a Devils fan. Now do 3-5 guys from rounds 2-7
McDavid unless we’re going whole career it’s Sid but when one player has a whole career and the other has had half a career there’s not much he can do there.
He’d be the second skater to ever win the Conn Smythe on the losing team behind Reggie Leach of the Flyers, first Center man though. Barkov has also already won the Selke this year. Great video!
If you make 1 or multiple videos with the best players in EVERY spot from nr 33 to 293 with comments on your choice I would gladly bring my popcorn and watch it with joy! 🙏🍿
Through 9 seasons, McDavid has 7 100 point seasons, Lindros had 1, so obviously McDavid Peter Forsberg wins by a country mile, it's not even up for debate You know I'm kind of torn on this one. a healthy Lemieux would have definitely went toe to toe with Gretzky for all time points and a bunch of records as well. Gretzky was the better assist producer and Lemieux was the better goal scorer in terms of assists and goals per game. I'm going to have to though go with Gretzky. Nothing will ever come close to his prime ever. The man averaged over 200 points from 1981/82-1986/87 season. Absolutely crazy. I pity those that never got to see him play.
@@bobbydimes6316 if you mean currently you’re on crack, if you mean in his career you’re still on crack, if you mean at his prime you’re still on crack
Cmon, Reggie Leach won it with Philly in 76 when the Habs beat us Edit: Leach also led the league in goals that year with 61, the only Flyer to score 60+ goals and lead the NHL in goals.
I know McDavid is the greatest player in the game today; however, I feel that Sidney Crosby does deserve an honorable mention due to the fact that he had an unreal season at the age of 36. I am genuinely curious to see how McDavid's game ages compared to Sid's.
@@hockey_all_star5895 The list is a subjective list of who the best player from this year drafted between 1-32. You can make an argument for any player who was drafted in those positions that played this season. McDavid is the consensus #1, but I'd agree a case could be made for Matthews as well.
Make a round 2-7 video 😊😊😊
Or do it as a series, lol.
Or 2-3, then 4-7, to keep the videos shorter.
Top 3 pick from each round
“Give the edge to Kucherov” after being 1/3 players with 40G 100A in a szn and outpacing Pastrnak in 8/9 last reg szn and playoffs

McDavid wouldn’t be the first skater in nhl history to win the Conn Smythe on the losing team, Reggie Leach did it in 1976.
Reggie Leach was the first and only skater to win Conn Smythe on the losing team

Yo Charlie coyles so good he’s both a defenseman and a center
Lmao
Could you make a video on your mock draft and who you would pick for each team
Yeah I’d love the rounds 2-7 video
This would be a good series to continue
Hey you forgot about Auston Matthews how sad he got 69 goals this year you know
6:40 (Kreider) He can hurt you in so many different ways. (Price)

Mcdaivd would be the second skater to win in a losing team after Reggie Leetch
you could post the later picks in a series of shorts? maybe 5 picks per ? good offseason project
No birds stoned this video 😢
You gonna do a final full 1st round mock before the draft? Could even do like a super hot take version with a ton of shockers
My top 10 2024-2001
1. Crosby
2. Malkin
3. Draisaitl
4. Backstrom
5. Price
6. Tkachuk
7. Hughes
8. Nylander
9. Phaneuf
10. Rantanen

Vasilevskiy>Kreider, you must’ve just forgot him
I see multiple Selke trophies in Wyatt Johnston's future
I was hoping Caufield had a shot then I looked up 15th OA picks and I saw JT Miller, Erik Karlsson and Dylan Larkin 💀

Oof on the boeser one....
Honestly if Im MCdavid I feel like being given the conn smythe but not winning the cup would almost be a slap to the face and a participation trophy.
And it would be a correct feeling, lol!
I’m pretty sure that’s what the 5 players who won it previously all said one of them “I didn’t even care about that trophy”
McDavid vs Gretzky is the new comparison, not McDavid vs Crosby anymore
Crosby > Gretzky tho
I have crosby over McDavid for now.
Are you serious, if their careers both ended today Crosby has had a far better one. Of course McDavid can go past Crosby eventually.
@@jamiepike6909Crosby is way older that’s not a fair comparison
