Years later, my Ugandan (ex) wife & I sat down to watch it with her parents. The portrayal of a fictional African kingdom offended them more than that royal bath scene ever could! The idea of it being a fairy tale completely eluded them.

Bet you anything it's gonna be a soft reboot with the son of the prince. It's gonna have every popular modern black actor like Kevin Heart and Craig Robinson. They will modernize it of course and Hakeem's son will be a hipster nerd of some kind just trying to find a girl that would like him. Being a millennial and Hakeem's son, he will have grown up without the same privileges he had and has never interacted with a girl before. He spent all his time playing videogames and being on the computer. How close do you think I am?
