So maybe, at one time Bud did pawn off his Hatori Hanzo sword off for beer and cigarettes at some point, but then had second thoughts and bought it out of hock, maybe he had to chase it down for a bit as it had left Texas, and found it's way off to California. Maybe Bud got lucky and managed to pick it up after Butch fled after his attack and saving Marcelous from Zedd. It's amazing how the concept of movie telling came about - out of sequence. And people today still do get how it works... I love it - its like a little puzzle you put together and Voila!!!
The brief case represents desire, just as Quinten Tarantino said himself whatever's in the Briefcase whatever you think it is whatever you desire is in the case and the gold light is to represent that it's what you want the most making the Briefcase a symbol for greed and desire
This is the kicker. The colors of the case the combo the light that's the light that shines in the darkness. You could have it any way you want it. Just remember that want comes with payment when and when payment is do you meet the Equalizers. I am Lucid I see behind the veil.
I'm too literal for interpretations like that. Same as movies with huge plot holes...can't freaking stand that bs. "oh you have to ignore them and enjoy the movie" nope.
As in one common item that everyone shares a want for? Or as in the item changes depending on whomever opens it and looks in to become whatever that person desires most?
Makes sense since all of Tarantino's movies take place in the same universe. I mean Travolta's character is the brother of one of the dudes in Reseviore Dog's
@@CONSOLETRUTH2 Travoltas characters brother in Reservoir Dogs is Vic Vega played by Michael Madsen. He's been in a few other films like Free Willy and Free Willy 2 as the adoptive father...he's Budd in Kill Bill 2,Hateful 8,and fun fact...Madsen was offered the role of Vincent Vega for Pulp Fiction but turned it down and John Travolta took the role.
He's right up there with Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese. Robert Rodriguez of course has his own moments considering they collaborate quite often.
Good stuff Minty! I just realized watching this that Tarantino was so great at making 'alternate universes'. Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction seemed to take place in another world that only looked similar to a major American city. Whereas his later movies tend to try to enforce this 'alternate existence' of Wouldn't It Be Great If.... Hitler was taken out in a movie theater, or Manson's minions were taken out by a couple of Hollywood old standards. Other movies like Dusk Till Dawn, Hateful Eight, and Death Proof are to me 'too out there to be believed'. Not that they're bad movies - but exist in a totally foreign realm that is hard to relate to. But Tarantino shines best when it's characters and settings are something we can relate to, think we may have actually brushed by, and is possible the situation(s) could be happening at any moment near us today or tomorrow or maybe last week. Which I think Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction does in spades!
Rob T, in the movie (spoiler ahead) Samuel L Jackson character, Nick Fury dies. But Nick Fury actually faked his death to make Hydra think he was death. On his Nick Fury tombstone it said, “The path of the righteous man”

I _adore_ this movie. I remember seeing it with friends when it first came out (I was in high school at the time), and it became our instant favorite. We were talking about it and quoting lines for months afterward, and it cemented Tarantino as one of my favorite writer/directors.
As a Portuguese, I must thank you for doing this video. As a fan of Maria de Medeiros (she's one of our best international actresses and directors, and I'm a really big fan of her), I love watching her as Bruce's girlfriend in the movie.
I always kick myself when I remember the morning after(about 2yrs ago) watching a '50 PF Facts' video on the Tube, I 'randomly'(was it really?)came across a SEXY black chick actually wearing a PF shirt, but I didn't stop to tell her. WHO wears PF shirts these days?? D'oh! 😣
What happened to Quentin Tarantino doing Elmore Leonard adaptions, like this and other movies of his like Jackie Brown, they were the best. And I always loved how you'd see one aspect of the story from a character's point of view but when the focused on a different character you'd see their point of view and it gave the audience a different perspective.
Jackie Brown was his only Elmore Leonard adaptation. Elmore Leonard said that he was impressed by it. It seems like Tarantino wanted to get away from a purely crime film focus in order not to be overly Typecast. Now he just makes whatever he wants to make.
Not a fan of Seinfeld but yeah I thought that was him too. Tarantino rocks!! I have all of his movies even the ones he didn't actually direct but had a hand in like From Dusk til Dawn,Natural Born Killers, and the only one I don't have is Planet Terror.

Jersey Films is Danny Devito. The 1 mill Danny put up is what got miramax interested. Frank Reynolds got Pulp Fiction made!
SOUVLAKIA! I guess this is where Souvlaki originates! 🤣
Did you see a sign that said dead minty storage?
You know what’s on my mind right now? It ain’t the comments under the channel...
@@SmilingDevil He lives in Frankston, every second house in that suburb has a dead body storage...
No, but I heard he serves up a great cup of coffee.
Just say the word. It's not like it's a big thing these days.
@@DeathBYDesign666 I did say minty.
9:25 - That's not Tim Roth; it's John Travolta.
It's the part of the film when Vincent pulls his gun on Honey Bunny after Vincent comes out of the coffee shop bathroom.
You can tell because he's wearing the UC Santa Cruz T-shirt, and has a .45 pistol; Tim Roth's character had a small revolver.
I think because Vincent doesn't have a suitcoat on, threw him off.
How about “My Blue Heaven” next Minty? It is one of my favorite, anyone else?
I tip everyone
Such a great movie!!
What's the difference between a lightbulb and a pregnant woman? You can unscrew a lightbulb! See, no sense of humor whatsoever!
“Hey Debbie, Hey Brody. What a day for a mow huh”
I could quote that movie for days & it’s been maybe eight years since the last time I watched it.
“What did you need so many copies of the book for? Incase I wanted to read it more than once.”
The Best.
@@aaronburratwood.6957 You got something against books?
I felt like I was on really good drugs the entire movie and I was never so relieved as I was at the End of the Bruce Willis segment. Pulp Fiction is the Greatest movie ever made!
Its definitely got a case for being the best film ever made. It really is a masterpiece
R
Mike Hunt thanks
This is the kicker. The colors of the case the combo the light that's the light that shines in the darkness. You could have it any way you want it. Just remember that want comes with payment when and when payment is do you meet the Equalizers. I am Lucid I see behind the veil.
Its the ring from lotr
I'm too literal for interpretations like that. Same as movies with huge plot holes...can't freaking stand that bs. "oh you have to ignore them and enjoy the movie" nope.
Love the suit, Minty!
It’s great.. I always want that look of cool suit or style like in Quentin Tarantino movies or in French New Wave movies..
Minty! With a red tie, youd look like a "Hitman"
And he would look quite scary if you didn't know his personality.
I want minty to b in a movie, maybe he could star in a Hitman remake( even though minty normally doesn't like remakes)
With no smile and them shades, yes hes not someone youd wanna walk up too lol
Number 69
I would like to believe that whatever was in the suitcase it is people's deepest desire
As in one common item that everyone shares a want for? Or as in the item changes depending on whomever opens it and looks in to become whatever that person desires most?
@@adamberndt4190 the latter
Ahh yes the film that gave us the GIMP.
Fun Fact: Jueles is in kill bill as the man who witnessed the bride's massacre. Following up to Jules revelation. (Uncredited)
He played the church's organ player.
Makes sense since all of Tarantino's movies take place in the same universe. I mean Travolta's character is the brother of one of the dudes in Reseviore Dog's
Kill Bill is actually a film within his Universe. Meaning The Bride is played by Mia Wallace and is something Jules would watch at the cinema.
His name is Rufus
@@CONSOLETRUTH2 Travoltas characters brother in Reservoir Dogs is Vic Vega played by Michael Madsen. He's been in a few other films like Free Willy and Free Willy 2 as the adoptive father...he's Budd in Kill Bill 2,Hateful 8,and fun fact...Madsen was offered the role of Vincent Vega for Pulp Fiction but turned it down and John Travolta took the role.
quentin makes the best crime movies
I like how in 2014 in the movie, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” it has references in the movie to honor the 20th anniversary of “Pulp Fiction”
Rob T Whatever we think there is...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rob T, in the movie (spoiler ahead) Samuel L Jackson character, Nick Fury dies. But Nick Fury actually faked his death to make Hydra think he was death. On his Nick Fury tombstone it said, “The path of the righteous man”
James Garrett there was also his catch phrase at the end of Infinity Wars
Man Miramax was the greatest hard to believe they owned by disney for certain amount of time
I always thought what was in the briefcase was the score from Reservoir Dogs...
Thank you Minty! This movie has a special place in my mind as it reminds me of a time when I was at university and we couldn't stop reciting lines from that crazy dialogue.
I look forward to your videos every week and I appreciate a your hard work even when you unintentionally make me laugh out loud with such gems as "Souvlakia" as a country! 😂😆👍🏽👌🏽
You want chilli sauce, salad?
I _adore_ this movie. I remember seeing it with friends when it first came out (I was in high school at the time), and it became our instant favorite. We were talking about it and quoting lines for months afterward, and it cemented Tarantino as one of my favorite writer/directors.
The briefcase has whomever looks inside its greatest hopes and dreams. So when Travolta looks in he sees his life without Scientology.
🤣
I still say jackie brown ia highly underated
Heck ya! Pam Grier !!!
It's a very good movie.
"ROYALE WITH CHEESE!"😂😂😂
Great job again Minty!
"I love you. I love you too, Honey Bunny."
As a Portuguese, I must thank you for doing this video. As a fan of Maria de Medeiros (she's one of our best international actresses and directors, and I'm a really big fan of her), I love watching her as Bruce's girlfriend in the movie.
@james cowboy yes. :) Most people don't know much of her work, because she tends to appear in independent films.
D'oh! 😣
Minty: Are you going to join the Men In Black any time soon with that outfit? I was just asking though!
@drew pedersen I never thought of that one at all. RIP Michael Jackson anyway!
@drew pedersen That is one the best cameo in recent memory in my mind.
The greatest movie ever made. ❤️
Yes sir I agree!
Hey Minty, when Quentin Tarantino makes his 10th film you should do one fact on each one!
@@stevegeorge6880 Oh okay I thought this was Elmore Leonard my mistake.
Jules: You sending 'The Mint'?
Marsellus: Oh, you feel better?
Jules: Sheee, that's all you had to say!
It's ok to say 'negro'.
'the wolf'
Another great video, Minty... you deserve a million subs.
Thought that was Jerry Seinfeld that ran out bussin' when I first saw this movie. Lol
Me too lol
Not a fan of Seinfeld but yeah I thought that was him too. Tarantino rocks!! I have all of his movies even the ones he didn't actually direct but had a hand in like From Dusk til Dawn,Natural Born Killers, and the only one I don't have is Planet Terror.
Anyone else as sad as me notice the Roman numeral is incorrect at 4:04 - MCMLXXXVIV
YES !!! I was trying to figure out what number they were trying to represent. That number is IMPOSSIBLE in Roman Numerals.
The mid 1950's movie staring Cloris Leachman, "Kiss Me Deadly", based on a Micky Spillane pulp fiction detective novel, had a briefcase containing a mystery glowing item thought to be some sort of nuclear fuel or item, such as uranium. I'm sure, that Tarintino got the briefcase idea from that movie.
Love this movie. Saw it at the movies. It's will always hold close place in my heart too cuz my cousin took me to see this movie that past almost 10 years ago. So it has great memories for me when I first saw this wonderful clever movie. Love the Bonnie situation segment. My favorite one😆
I honestly believe that Quentin didnt even think of what’s in the briefcase
Yes he did, because he had put the bandaid on Marcelas Wallace's back of head/neck. That's where the devil takes your your soul from. That's why he wants the briefcase back,it's his soul in there.
This movie has the MOST quoted lines that literally everybody recognizes!
Hey, Harvey Keitel also played a “cleaner” in another move I..... The Point Of No Return. Pretty damn funny hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Bruh, I just rewatched that movie a couple of weeks ago. I forgot he played "The Cleaner"
Whose motorcycle is this?
It's a chopper baby.
Whose chopper is this?
It's Zed's.
Who's Zed?
Zed's dead baby,
Zed's dead.
One of the best movies ever.
my feeling on the contents of the briefcase was that, its an Oscar, Mia wallace is a failed actress(the top award for an actor/actress is an Oscar), she likes her trophies (she tells vincent you better dance good cos I want that trophy!) there's brett and his pals, there no gangsters! but more like employees of the place where the oscars are produced or stored, So marcellus wallace hired them to obtain one for him.
101Cypher this is kinda one of my favourite theories
I can tell you exactly what's in the briefcase. It's called a MacGuffin.
Now that you've said that it seams odd that nobody else has ever thought to say it...
Actually it’s an Egg MacGuffin with Sausage.
Get the Big Kahuna burger. I hear it is "One Tasty Burger".
14:20 some odd country called "Sovlakia" lol
That wasn't Tim Roth in the Japanese poster, it's John Travolta when he came out of the bathroom scene in the diner.
agree
"Is that what I think it is?"
Yes, it's literally whatever you think it is.
That briefcase just got a lot more psychedelic
I still say that though it is whatever we think it is it is whatever they stole in reservoir dogs
It's a macguffin...
Isnt just a Kiss me Deadly reference?
Think inside the box.
Diamonds?
