You received more knives in one gift package than most people will own in their lives. How generous you're subscribers are to think of someone to give their prized collection.
This is a very generous gift,I don't know why his son's don't want his collection 😮very sad day, Terry from his channel said he is done. He will be missed. You better not leave us😢.those webster marbles are beautiful. I haven't come across a safety ax, very jealous. Be safe and GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏
Truly knives has saved my life , I’ve been going throw a lot mentally n been in and out of hospital for years now n I’ve found so much joy n happiness in working/reducing/repairing n collecting n plus watching all your videos n all the other channels I even posted me a couple videos on flea market finds, God bless n thank you for everything
Wow!! Knife overload!! Tough to pick a favorite out of all them. The stag Case, KABAR large Coke Bottle, KABAR large Lock back, and the Safety ax. The Pilot survival knife also. I will say the small Camillus work knife is cool. The one with the sheep foot looking blade. I need to find one of them.
@theknifedoctor I truly enjoy every video. I was half way through the video and got an Instagram message from someone you know well that I had won and he was very happy
Amazing gifts. That fillet knife made by Rada is the company that makes those aluminum handle kitchen knives. And the one with a loop fixed end I think it’s a hoof knife farriers use on horses. And the scrimshaw Shrade you could replace the blade and get your niece to laser burn a bear and Yeti walking together.
Thanks, I’m really excited about all of these great knives!

Maybe Mr. Dave didn't want any hard feelings between the siblings over the knife collection split. He may have wanted it to be in a place where we all could see it. The collection must be huge with more coming. Thanks Kevin for sharing this experience; your knife collection may double! A new addition may be needed sooner than you thought. The knives are in great condition for the most part with a few projects for more videos. win-win
Mighty fine content. Sure am ready to find out when tht stag handle case fixed blade was made. I got a mint bird n trout leather stacked handle case that I am fortunate to have of my GPops that has same stamp been looking for info on when it was made Stay sharp folks
19:15 That Black Handle Norfolk St Sheffield England is a WW2 British issued pocketknife i think. To match their machetes. Ive got a Greenshires Sheffield England ww2 Machete with the same black handles that my Grandfather traded to get and brought home from the war. Cool box of knives right there.
23:30 Rada is a brand of knives made here in Iowa. They’re big on fund raising and offer their knives at a steep discount to organizations trying to raise money.
A truly generous gift! You’ll be able to make a lot of content with these past just a couple unboxing videos. I have to join in with a few others. Wonder why he decided not to pass them down to his sons…? That’s where my collection will end up.
Lots of these old knives were used in a textile Mill or some sort of machinery trade. They used them for certain jobs and machinery. That's why the blades were trimmed down so bad. My Great Grandfather and his siblings were in the Mills of S.C.
I have a cigar box with a few of my older pocket knives that I'm going to meet a buyer in 2 weeks, but now watching you and all these beautiful knives are making me think twice about selling them. My son doesn't like the old folding pocket knives so I was gonna sell them but watching you, I don't think I am now
@theknifedoctor okay I have a cabela stockman that was in my dad's collection that I started carrying today for a work knife. I'm trying to get comfortable carrying these old knives again instead of those assisted opening with pocket clip knives. Carrying a real pocket knife in the pocket feels great.
Brother Kevin! It’s always fun catching up on your videos! This stuff is like grown man chuckee Cheese!😁 There’s tons of cool stuff ! Well actually 60 pounds! But that DuPont Remington in the first or second box or the Utica fixed blade were a cut above!!! Great video!!!!
Kevin how is the weather in Georgia, we are in South Louisiana and we have had three days of cold weather. Like the show, I have started collecting knives along with making wooden ink pens. Hopefully I can catch a live show.
I wonder if this man worked for TSA or something similar it’s absolutely mind blowing knowing if Mr. Dave actually bought all these knifes and just gave them up to someone he never knew or met when people I’ve known my whole life doesn’t give me one knife if he did actually buy them that’s a very generous man I have to say
the survival knife of usaaf in the ww2 it s an folder with 2 blade, the usn MK1. the description is:Large folding survival knife for US Army Air Force and Navy pilots WWII period. Two blades including a saw. Stamped UNITED G.R MICH. (United Tool and Machinery from Grand Rapids) on the back of the blade. Locking system under the bolster. Black squared plastic scales. Perfect working order. This knife was an integral part of many Navy and Air Force survival kits including the famous C-1 vest which had a pocket dedicated to this purpose. Folded length 15.4 cm Blade length 12 cm Saw length 13 cm Deployed length 27 cm
I only been watching you for a short time I really enjoy watching I have a case knife that was my grandmother's and I also have case that was my mother's I'm not sure of the year they are
Why in the world did this man not pass those knives down to 4 grown men and possibly grandsons? It’s a tremendous cache of knives for you though. Really neat video. I’m jealous of some of those knives you got. Stay blessed and keep doing what you do. Thankyou.
My 2 adult sons have already told me they don't want any of my assorted collections, knives or otherwise. The younger generations just aren't into 'stuff' like my generation is. I'm guessing Mr. Dave had the conversation with his sons and decided to gift rather than sell.
Mr knife doctor this Is OL of OL’s KNIFE CORRAL if you don’t mind me asking what are you gonna do with all those knives ? Awesome video !!!! Unboxing king mail call mayor!! Haha have a good one !! 📦👀🆒🇺🇸🔪💪😎
I am thinking the German wood handled tool you thought to be a carving tool, was actually a tool as farriers use to clean Horse, donkeys, goats, and pigs hooves to get the dirt and debris from the bottom of the hooves!!!
You received more knives in one gift package than most people will own in their lives. How generous you're subscribers are to think of someone to give their prized collection.

I have a cigar box with a few of my older pocket knives that I'm going to meet a buyer in 2 weeks, but now watching you and all these beautiful knives are making me think twice about selling them. My son doesn't like the old folding pocket knives so I was gonna sell them but watching you, I don't think I am now
Don’t sell!! Just clean them. Carry a few every day and swap them out every once in awhile.

I'm trying to get comfortable carrying these old knives again instead of those assisted opening with pocket clip knives. Carrying a real pocket knife in the pocket feels great.

I bought a Case muskrat with 5 dots in good condition how much is it worth
All depends on the year, blade condition, handle material. Over all condition. 🤷♂️

The knife you wondered if it's a carving tool is a hoof knife used by farriers (horseshoer).
What can you even say about this? Doc going to need another knife museum!
I only been watching you for a short time I really enjoy watching I have a case knife that was my grandmother's and I also have case that was my mother's I'm not sure of the year they are
Hello Sir! Welcome aboard! Send some photos to knifeproxx@gmail.com
1/4 the way through. So cool but I'm worn out. Wow, fun!
The little Puukko is a Finnish Iisakki Järvenpää. That is the name of the guy who founded the company and the still make Puukkos under his name.

Normark is Martini Sweden
I am thinking the German wood handled tool you thought to be a carving tool, was actually a tool as farriers use to clean Horse, donkeys, goats, and pigs hooves to get the dirt and debris from the bottom of the hooves!!!
Normark is affiliated with rapala fishing lures, they make fishing knives.
Thank you! I'll have to look into that!
Getting that buck, 119 wouldn't hurt my feelings.None that guy hooked you up
Doc, you are going to have to hire an assistant.
