Thank you, I am extremely grateful for my good fortune.
I've just realised last year that i am an absoloute knife junkie and like you i see good and beauty in every knife. Thanks for continuing to fill up my wishlist!
Great collection man thanks for sharing.
I love my Prather War Bowie!
I'm a big admirer of The Bowie. I don't own many but I'm grateful for what I have. I also enjoy the artistry of leather sheaths. I made my own for my Bowie's.
Beautiful collection, wish I could afford some of the knives in your collection, maybe one day. Thanks for sharing you wonderful collection with us.
Fighting Stilletto .... just superb ....
Beautiful, beautiful collection!!!
Great collection. Thanks for sharing.

Really, REALLY ENJOYED your video! I just laid back went into a "knife world saga" getting lost in my own daydream of oh how nice is that one and OH THAT ONE'S EXCELLENT AND... I have the that one and so on!!! Truly in another world, realizing and enjoying the fact of why I love this hobby so much!!! I'll definitely be coming back here from time to time Bob... Thank you!

That grind is beutiful!!! On the first one!!
Awesome collection of knives is all I can say so congrats to your hard work collecting them....Good stuff....
Sweet collection 😘👍🏻
I can't believe you have that Carter neck knife! Absolutely beautiful knife and really nice collection all together.
Excellent collection, enjoyed the video
Great collection. Very varied, took years to get all, some common and some very rare knives.
I love Ontario as well...I hope they make it back. I've had a SP8 for forever! Easy to sharpen and truly indestructible!!
I bet you would like the The Buck 124 Frontiersman... bigger and badder than the 119.
Love all your blades. Love the Randalls. Love the Murray Carter. I have a couple of his apprentice blades.
Really nice. Love that CS 1917 Frontier Bowie. I have one and it's one of my most prized. Congrats on getting some of these on your birthdays!
Cool collection! Big knives are big fun! 😁
So many hard lines on that grind with the work tuff
Haha. My type of guy. Fabulous collection.
Great collection bob, one great thing about collections is it shows an evolution of your tastes over time.
Amazing! I wasn't gonna watch the whole thing- by the time I got to the end, I subscribed and started lookin around for more of your vids.. Some excellent stuff, thanks for sharing your collection! My wife thinks that I have a lot of knives, lol... ⚔
Great collection great video enjoyed watching
Fun collection. Well done!
Great collection!!! You can never have enough knives 🔪🗡️
With the Bowie's grip blade up with index finger over backside brass for an amazing feel.
Una colección más k impresionante te felicito desde España
I admit I don't 'get' this knife collect 'thing' but still I *respect* it and give you *credit* for the knowledge of knives you clearly possess, its scope and depth, a side effect experienced when pursuing any long standing interest with persistence no matter its nature, simple/complex, nevertheless you become an *AUTHORITY* an honest authentic primary source.
Part 8 in my recommendations. Time to go find part 1 and point at anything I own.
What an amazing collection! So many of my 'Grail' knives there! My last was the 1917 'Frontier' and like you I find it beautiful (so much so I really want the matching Cutlass) My next will be the Von Tempsky which if it holds as good as it looks will be worth every penny!
Strangely a big favourite of my collection is also one of the cheapest! It's the 'Uncle Henry' from Schrade. It is such an easy to carry, useful and capable Knife, especially given the price.
Bowie Knives are so rewarding to collect !
I thought I had a cool knife addiction?! Nope. I feel better now. Great knife show
واقعا بی نظیر خیلی لذت بردم مرسی❤❤❤
Wholly cow! That cold steel trailmaster is almost $300 on amazon! Unusual pricing that Iam use to from cold steel.. but I really like it. They make great knives.
Awesome knife collection! My cold steel trail master is the black coated finish, made in USA. Thanks for sharing!
That is a great collection I am starting a collection of fixed blades so far I have collected folders but love fixed blades
I have that Western Bowie knife. It’s a beast and very sharp.
That's an amazing collection your 50th birthday present was Amazing, it also very closely resembles the COLDSTEEL OSS
I only like the Buck,Randall, and big Bowie knives
Sieht aus wie meine Sammlung, nur wenn ich aufwache, sind alle weg😅
Super Sammlung Top🏅
Any recommendations for a leather sheath maker?
Nice to see I’m not only one crazy knife guy 😂😂😂 I’m in this obsession from my early childhood 😂 got my first knife from my grandpa when I was 5 years old. Now I’m 43. Luckily I get rid of most of my knives and than collect them back bunch of. After years again making selection and getting rid of most and repeat story again 😂🤣
Anyway I have enjoyed the video 100% so thx for your time and presentation
To each his own, Sir, but I do not understand...getting rid of and reaquiring...but you do you...all the best!
That's a lot knives love it
Wow man, that's one awesome collection, every time I think yeah that's my favorite you pull out another one and then I'm not so sure,I guess that's how your collection grew thanks for showing us all those beautiful knives, fantastic atvb Dave
Enjoying your video about the noise. The one you said you bought in 2006 or 7? It's my favorite one. Even had a little crack in the handle. I like it the best
Yea a bowie is like a small hand sword!
One million like good job
I have a Cold Steel Warcraft Tanto XL and it's a monster! I love it!!
Super 😎 Cool. Greetings from Germany
Damn! Nice 51st birthday!
"Home Defense Knife" is a terrifying phrase.. 😅
Amazing collection ser!
Same thing happened to my loredo Bowie. Terrible sheath, fun knife.
the sog super Bowie is beautiful
Them cold steel tanto's were big in the Service in the late 80's.
Trail Master ♥️♥️♥️
What a fabulous collection! I particularly like those well-used Trailmaster and CS Tanto. I completely agree with your aside on 'dueling knives'. I'm an old martial artist that often can't afford blades simply because they're made with super-steels. It's so unnecessary for most fighting knives. Cheers. ☘
I to packed a bowie growing up in the mountains even made a few of my own
Yes to the Cold Steel.
а у тебя серьёзная коллекция!
Great collection. 👍🏼 Never sell only pass it on within your bloodline. It’s the story behind them specially when it’s from a relative.
Thanks for sharing. 💯🫵🏼👍🏼🫡👊🏼✌🏼🇳🇱
You're missing the Modern Bowie by Fallkniven. Impressive collection though 😮
Kyzliar Bastardo (Sleipner Steel) is an awesome Bowie. The Kyzliar Survival X in D2 is also awesome.
By the way I also have the Cold Steel Laredo With the coco bolo handle mine cracked as well . did not send back. I super glued mine , worked good ,and it looks good it is built up in layers fill that puppy up sand it done round the edges good to go.
Im very happy to hear you pronounce Bowie correctly...
Great video series. I think I am an off grid knives fan because of you lol. Best of luck good sir.
Wish there had been price points for each
Haha i have a home knife one i keep beside me when im watching movies or hanging out
I thought I was weird for getting one of my big knives out and and sitting it next to me on the couch when I sit down for the evening after work lol
Me, too...and a home gun...my wife says "paranoid" , I say "prepared "!!
These Bowie knives r so big they’re basically falcions at this point lol
I wanted a chaos kukri, but unfortunately it has been discontinued.

The thing about geneva convntion and teiangular blades is a urban legend, my fellow knife enthusiast.
Awesome collection!
The triangular blade is a direct descendant of the bayonet for the British Enfield "Brown Bess" musket. The bayonet was more feared than the musket.
You can get that scratch out of the cold steel tanto using scotchbrite pads try the green first if that dont work try the red one but only whip away in one direction and the scratch will disappear.
25:02 it's my favorite! Wow is sic!
COLD STEEL Frontier ? I AGREEEEE!
That brass guard knife, I'm pretty sure it camel bone
You have a very fine and interesting collection. Congratulations. I'd like to encourage you to obtain a Bill Bagwell Bowie though now that he is gone it is unlikely you will find one for sale. The Ontario reproductions of Bagwell's Bowies are very well done and you might find these on the secondary market.
Sweet Collection ❤😊
....raider...bowie......rocks.❤
The sog Bowie 🥰🥰🥰
1:27 😮 OKC is going away, nooooo !
Does anyone know where similar hardware (belt stud) @10:35 can be found?? I've made a couple sheaths for my Trail Master, but the only suitable hardware I've ever seen are 'Sam Browns'. I'm disappointed that all my searches turn up nothing like the proper belt studs. ☹
Bellissimi !!!!👍👍👍🇺🇸😂🥰
I carry my 1917 frontier Bowie on occasion
The Schrade Leroy 45 , is 8cr13 I modded my knife and the sheath good working knife . most my more expensive knife don't get used unless I have two of them , go figure.
I carry a nice folding book triple blade Buck
I watched the entire video. Bob has an ocean of knives🗡💖👀🙄💰
Wow pretty awesome like it like your curves knife who make it lol I’m skull rose lol like it your awesome and big knife’s collection lol
👏🏻
Being german, Brittas boyfriend, some notes. A) The german made Sow Catcher is a for international marked translated Saufänger. So Sau ( or Schwein) must not been translated. Wlid boar is in german Wildschwein, Wildsau is dated, or southern dialect. Abfangen or Fangstoß means to finish off or giving final stab to a wounded annimal. In Germany ( perhaps also Austria and Switzerland) a piece of game, which is not dead at once by projectile ( bow or crossbows are forbidden!), must be searched and is usually shot by final shot ( Fangschuß ) with pistol. But using a knife for final stab is still allowed, and sometimes more usefull. For example next to settlements, to not scare mostly anti gun german citizens. For a long time socalled Nicker ( also until 1960s a common EDC knife in southern part of german language are, was used for small game, up to Reh ( roe?), a very long knife called Hirschfänger ( deer catcher) was up to interwar periode carried both by private hunters and Forrest officials. After wwll german hunters no more want to look warriorlike, so long knifes ( both Hirschfänger and Waidblatt - a widebladed knife, a mix of billhook and cleaver) nearly came out of use. But rising number of wild boar became a problem in last 20 to 25 Years, brought a comeback of long knifes, especially the widebladed dagger called Saufänger. Even to small degree the Saufeder ( boarspear ) has a small Comeback. B) The Sax ( seax) IS a type of long knife/ short sword, was used by all germannic tribes, related both to Großes Messer and Bowie. In my Homeregion you can see dozens over dozens of such blades, found in warrior graves up to about 600. German seaxes have not this english broken angle stiyle. Most ones have size and width of a billhook, some like a larger kitchen knife, few nearly as long as Spatha swords ( but single edged). I hope, my comment helps.
Awesome collection! 👍
gimme those Randals hahah
An ancient COLD STEEL - Recon Tanto in that legendary "Carbon V"
Would be a dream in ANYONES collection.
If only
Got one...back in the 80's...Great knife!!
@@matthewshannon6946 Ahhhh, what an almost magical blade steel.....( me too, used for 50$ -- it took 16 months to adjust the blade geometry using ceramics, by hand)
One January, we dug about 18" diameter hole about 26 or 28 inches deep, in a solidly frozen sand and gravel creekbank, while checking our trapline. Once back at the cabin, putting gear away, i checked for edge damage. NOT ONE CHIP!!! Incredibly, it still held its nearly razor sharp edge. Later, i did not need to hit the leather strop before successfully using it to shave.
Since that day i bought every piece i fouund for sale made with that carbon V . I am now an old man and have long since passed most of my collection along to my sons, daughters and grandchildren. I hope to pass my original, used , " re-angled " old tanto to my first great grand son. I'm kinda waiting for him to learn to appreciate its real value in the REAL WORLD. I thank you for "listening"to an old man's memories. I hope that you are able to use yours with great success and in good health. "Live long and prosper"
