I can relate to this ,I have my brother who wasted 6 years of his life in UPSC preparation .At the end he is going through same trauma what sir has mentioned .we are trying our best to support him now .
Just an update : He cleared the UPSC CSE in his recent attempt,Thanks everyone for all the warm wishes ,really grateful 🙂
Tell him about this girl . and how he has done no mistake , and show him some garryvee videos where he says , you have time to even old people of age 60 .

1) failure is not a problem. But acceptability hona chahiye.
2) apni ability k according hi aapko apne carrier options choose karna chahiye.

Exactly my point. Freedom to children is the cover over lazy parenting. (Even parents don't realise they are lazy) We tried to reason out our daughter's choice of career, help her meet those who were already in the field, encouraged her to ask the questions to them, and help her feel confident about it. Sometimes we doubted if it was interference, but, she is very happy that we help her decide her stream.
Same meri mamma ne bhi kia tha jab mjhe career choose karna tha..i have given test for AIEEE jisme architecture ka bhi exam tha..usme i have scored more in architecture so i was more interested in opting architecture rather than engineering.
After few days mamma mjhe ek di ke pass le gai jo already architect kr chuki thi unhone mjhe sab btaya kse unhone clear kia architect every pros n cons. After this discussion i was able to take the right decision. So you are absolutely correct. Smart parenting to hmare mamma papa ko bht ache se aati thi. Ab social media ne sab badal dia hai.

If you are smart enough again analyze both sides of it...meet both the succesful and failures and make the right decision....same example of drinking water applies here...

There is a person in my relation who has been preparing for UPSC for the last 8 years… and I am a JEE aspirant, so I did not get in the first drop, but he says, try once again, it will happen…I told him clearly that I don't want to try now because I know now that mine will not happen even in nit....& Now I am very happy with that decision so friends if you have parents or whoever Don't do on someone's saying first justify yourself then look at his other side if it doesn't happen... take a decision after all this....!😊

A little observation over the year on Sandeep ji’s videos.
At the Initial stage of his videos, almost every videos were a motivational which was very helpful for the those who were disheartened with their life experiences. Be it career, business, relationship, health, etc. You gave a new hope for those who don’t have any other vision or a prospective.
Now, in 2023, most of the videos are not so called motivational rather a realistic videos. It’s a gentle leap where many of us are aligned with the thought process of you. The realistic videos gets lesser viewers. Anyways, Thank you sandeep ji

@@457anand I am not here to criticize UPSC aspirants or UPSC organisation here. I am thanking Sandeep Sir for telling dark side of UPSC. It's bright side is already known to the whole world, there is no need to highlight. As Sandeep Sir said, nobody could tell you about that dark side of failures and false beliefs in your mind.

I was also going through this type of journey depression . I was prepare one of competative exam . My thought of doing that exam generate from a seminar , where I was seeing only positive sides of that exam with ignoring negative sides. I was not ready to see the reality . I was badly afraid of to see the reality .

I have completed my graduation this year and i am 21.5 years old i am not preparing for UPSC but preparing for SSC but i will not waste my 5-6 years for preparing i will try just for 1 to 2 years just and i will also learn some skills during the preparation so that there will be option B for me❤️❤️

Phir ek din galti se mene UPSC aspirants vali web series dekh li... Aur phir pata nahi achanak mere dimaag par uska kya impact ho gaya muje doctor bnn ne me zara sa bhi interest nhi raha aur din raat bas UPSC aur District Magistrate bnn ne ka hi sochne Laga... Me khud shocked tha ki ye mere dimag par kya ho gaya... Maano uss web series ne kabza jama liya mere dimag par.... Me tension me aa gaya ki itne saal se doctor bnn ne ke sapne dekh raha tha aur sirf ek web series ne sala poora interest hi khatam kr diya.... Aur bhaisaab Baad me 1 month tak me apne aap se apne dimag se ladta raha... Kamse Kam 1 mahine baad Jaa kar uss web series ka Nasha utra aur phir again me meri NEET ki taiyari par focus kar paya... Uss din muje pata chal gaya ye web series ki kya asar hoti hai hmare dimag par aur ye Sara marketing technique hai inn web series walo ka.... Unacademy walo ne paise de kar wo series bnwaya hai aur wo chahte hai ki hm unke Lakho rupees ke courses kharide..... Unke sikanje me mtt fasna dosto....
