Thanks for that. It's not just a straight out crime story - it's more a story about the 4 main characters who just happen to get involved in something a bit too deep ..
It's hilarious. (I mean, not the trailer, that's great, nice renders and good looking user interface.) It's that I started following you a week ago just because I want to make a game like this in the future, I didn't know you were into this stuff. I am really looking forward to this, with your skills i hope it will be one of the best AVN out there. Good luck!
Wow, that's amazing! I came to your channel wanting to know how to use Daz Studio and now I want to make these visual novels too. I have no idea where to start. What software did you use to make the game itself?
Hey - sorry for the delay - I think your comment got lost in all your "Great" comments! :) The software used is called Ren'Py (www.renpy.org/) .. it requires a little bit of coding - but you can still put something together without delving too deep into that side of things.
Have had somebody else say something similar .. but I personally don't know of other alternatives. I've actually had my Patreon page there for a few years now and had some images on there without any issues .. so, I'll just see how it goes ..
@@RaukoDaz3DIt's not Patreon in itself that's the issue afaik, it's the payment agencies they use (Stripe etc). If the payment agencies refuse to accept payments for a game, Patreon will pull the plug on your page as well. As long as you keep clear of age-issues, family related topics and copyrighted stuff (basically, anything that would be considered illegal in most countries), you shouldn't have a problem with Patreon.
@@arguendo11 As I mentioned - I've had a page up over there for a couple of years now without issues .. and I shouldn't be going anywhere near the things you mention .. so hopefully all will be well.
Ohh .. not long really .. I'm fortunate to have a 4090 so it scoots along pretty quickly. The longest animation would have been the first one in this video of the woman walking - in game, it's much longer (about a minute I think) .. it maybe took about 10 hours in total.
Fixing the weight mapping on those clothing assets must have been a pain. Either that, or you lucked out with the default fitting morphs for the character models you've chosen. I'll keep an eye out for this one!
On the animations? Never played with anything. When I've animated in Daz I've never had any issues with weight mapping .. I don't know. Maybe I unconsciously navigate around potential problems without realising!! 😀
@@RaukoDaz3D Yea, with DAZ that's pretty much the way to go. Whenever I see someone mess around with mesh grabber to fix a clipping issue, and I just create a new geoshell to fit the clothes to to do the same thing I feel like dropping a few bucks to the guy who recommended me the tactic first! Same with creating keyframes for two adjacent frames to fix interpolation issues. Same for turning self-collision off in dforce to eliminate exploding, etc. Your use of DoF and lighting looks amazing too by the way.
Glad you like. By Genre - are you referring to VN terms such as NTR and the like? If so .. I haven't a clue. I don't take any notice of things like that and don't even know what the vast majority of them are. It's a story about 4 people who get dragged into something way beyond their pay-grade and who have .. fun .. along the way. I'll let others apply labels as they see fit but I'm certainly not developing with any in mind.
Hey there .. It depends on what type of game you're making. If you're making a Visual Novel type game (like what you see here) - which is made up of pre-rendered images / animations ... then you need no license. If you're making a game using something like Unreal - where you have to export the geometry from Daz and manipulate the geometry within the engine (ie, using a controller .. or "live" animations) - then you'll need an "Interactive License" for EACH asset you're going to use .. that's character models, clothing, hair etc.
It's best not to start until you've written the ending. Then you divide it into 12 or 24 parts. It is laborious and takes a couple of years. A linear visual novel would be easier.
Hey there. There are 4 main characters each with their own stories and arcs and the VN story is played through each of their POV swapping between them as we go along. You ultimately decide what happens with each character within the story. So you play as both .. 2 gals, 2 guys.
Ahh! Well spotted - I thought I'd filled out the description properly .. but I hadn't .. :) .. but I have now! And there's only so much to say in a 40 seconds trailer ..
Glad you like. For the time being AI art still falls short of what a "real" artist can do. Yes, it can make great looking images (or .. copies of images .. ) but it will still be a while before it can capture the essence of what an artist really wants. A few years time? Maybe. But would you want all your art / entertainment be made by a cold, unfeeling AI?
I'm not typically the target audience for crime stories, but you do solid work, Rauko. I expect I'll check it out. Best to you and the project!

Looks amazing, can't wait for it, keep up the good work!
Appreciate it .. should still be a couple of weeks as tidying a few bits up!
Very inspiring IM looking forward to seeing this, and very Guy Richie too😎😊
If your story telling is half as good as your Daz skills, this will be a fantastic game! Looking forward to this!

Thanks. Writer. Coder. Artist. Animator. General Dogsbody .. :)
@@RaukoDaz3D Also using Patreon may be a bad idea. It bans artists for literally everything nowdays and rules becoming absurdly strict.

So can I play as female here ? It's so rare in this kind of visual novels :)

Nice renders, but I wish it told more what sort of plot/story there is. I don't really see a hook as to why play this game.
