Impressive, I will try these setting and save as deep program and when hit an iffy quiet signal switch to this and see how well it works 😀😀😀

Good afternoon, ok I have tested your settings and can confirm it’s certainly deeper, I found a deep target and compared to all other D2 settings including some custom ones, so here’s my findings, hunting on dryish heavy clay in clean pasture land it’s certainly gives lots of signals, way more than most programs, I played with sensitivity down to 85 but still a very chatty program, had to get used to as no notch, so this throws a ton of signals at me as I’m sweeping as really picks up lots of targets so I had really concentrate and cherry pick, the VDI does show up but does bounce the numbers when deep so need to circle around target, it’s down the tones that are consistent and cleaner the ones to dig, I did get fooled a few times when going for scratchy targets and had to re dig new hole as target had moved, I would say by his program setting is not for a beginner and more for someone with experience as picks up lots of ground chatter as well as tiny no dig targets, question, what’s your soil type, does it chatter a lot on your ground as your hunting, what would make it slightly less chatty off so but still keeping the great depth, well my last target last night at 10.00pm was deep and showed up a good but scratchy target, tried other programs and most it was no show, so bug it and amazingly found a

Shilling sadly fairly worn but still a silver coin at 8 inches in very long grass so it does certain work, so let me know your findings and could you do a video of it hunting your places you use to compare my pasture 😀😀😀😀
That’s really very nice! To make a less chatty machine, try to keep sensitivity on 92/93 and to up ground stabilizer on 2. Here I have mild soils with low phase where machine is more chatty and highly mineralized soils which are much more difficult but where D2 is stable. I have to do another test on mineralized soil and see the depth difference between wet and dry soil. And this with 0.71 firmware. If it doesn’t rain I’ll have to bring 2 bottles of water! Here in Italy we have to pay big attention with metal detector because it is very easy to make a complaint!

Thank you for replying, yes I tried lowing the sensitivity but still super chatty, I’ll try ground stabiliser on 2 and see how I get on and play around again with sensitivity 😀, we can not use parks in the Uk like than can in USA so it’s either the beach or private ground permissions 😀😀
@@Windsurfingaddict Yes, I often go detecting on a field where I have a permission since 2014. Have been detecting with Deus 1 since almost 10 years but, compared to D2, is much more chatty. Try program n.1, it’s very quiet..in my opinion!

This is unbelievable. I had a maximum depth for 50 Eurocent of of about 43 cm in moist clay. When the soil is dry, you never get such a depth out of any machine. What GB did you grab? Again this most important detail is missing. Not possible with a GB of 87. Not with my machine, updated 0.6.
Hello Ralph. Soil in the test is mild. You can see other tests I made years ago: same soil, about 100 meters away from my new test garden and where I had another test garden with 12-14 and 20” holes. Blisstool V6, for example needs dry soils to reach maximum depth. I grabbed at 86/87. No mineralization at all Ralph..

This is not clear signal,it's like deep iron.you won't dig it,if you,re not crazy!

It’s does work but it’s an open hot program so not for faint hearted 😀
Hi, this is impossible. In the air test it is max. 20cm with a 50 cent piece. In the ground it can not be suddenly more. There must have been another metal in addition.
I have more tests. Have tested also over the empty hole. That’s the coin..
Hi Peter. In my humble opinion the test is 100% reliable. Everything is about the machine setting. The deus II has been pushed to the limit in terms of performance. Probably this kind of setting is unusable in a real searching scenario due to the false signals this could give back, but for a pure depth test like this is, I deem the result more than valid. If you hold a deus II too, try the same settings he used in the video and make a test yourself, most probably you'll have the same results. Cheers!

@@petera.7755 Just done an air test with 50 euro cent coin: most weak signal was about 50cm. Anyway I think that air tests are useless and cannot be compared to a coin in the bottom of a hole. For a multi frequency more and more. Thanks for your comments Peter!
