Very Similar to the 2002 Sonoma as well and what a timely video. I've been having nothing but problems with the AC on my son's 2002 Sonoma and you made this look like baking cookies. I wish other mechanics would make videos as concise as this. No excessive talking, straight to the point, great video work. Can't wait to see more quality videos like this one.
That's why i started this channel about 3 months ago. Every video i see out there has bad camrea angles and some guy talking about his mother in law for 5 mims before they actually get to the point of the video haha. Apprecate the support. Much more great content to come :)
Thanks for the great video. I just did this on my 2004 Blazer LS. Lucky for me, you don't have to pull the headlights and front grill on this model. Just the shroud & radiator.
You did a awesome job I have a 2005 Chevy avalanche 4x4 truck I have to replace my radiator and AC condenser where I live it's no mechanic shops so I have to do the work myself this is a very helpful video thanks
2003 Chevy Traiflblazer Ext 4wd: no need to drain radioator. Just above radiator, horizontal frame bar, remove four 13 mm bolts and the vertical piece in the middle that holds radiator and condenser together. Then, condenser will be accessible. Just remove plastic piece (at each top ends of condenser) that holds condenser against radiator. Then, there is enough room to remove condenser. Thanks for video though - it gave me enough courage to attempt it myself.
I have a 2002 S-10 ZR2. When I did mine, I didn't have to remove the radiator hoses or the trans lines. I just removed the battery and the battery tray and the ac lines where right there.
How do you add oil to the new condenser? Can you just pour it in to one of the fittings openings where the hoses connect and just turn the condenser and rotate it until your short has distributed and it won't plug the thing up?
Is it ok to do all of the replacement work myself, then drive my car to an AC specialist to do the recharge on the system? Or would that be bad for the AC? Just not sure I feel confident about doing that recharge myself.
what is the signs of a bad condenser? im havin a problem with my 01 suburban blowin warm while im not driving compressor and new orfice tube new drier is still good
not a good idea to be putting compressed air in to a fresh receiver/dryer kind of defeating the purpose of replacing it. always use dry nitrogen for finding leaks

You deserve a lot more for this video. You have a detailed install awesome. This was similar to this 2500 Silverado 5.3 I was working on. THANK YOU ,,
Thank you i appreciate it so much. Be sure to hut the thumbs up button and subscribe to aupport me so I can keep making great videos for everyone!

Yeah they are all slightly different. But all the chevys are so close i figured the video would give enough info so everyone can benefit!!
I have never seen so much rust on a vehicle!! Thank God I live in the southwest. Informative video though, Thanks!
ohh bro this is nothing! i live in Florida and this truck was pretty close to the ocean for most of it's life. the northern cars are WAY worse
Just a little rusteeze and you’ll be good as new 😏👍🏼

This video is simply amazing man. Thanks a ton!
I put a lot of time into making sure all my camera angles are perfect and all my editing look smooth. I appreciate the recognition!!! 💪💪
Trq shows removing fan and rad to do condenser. They don't touch lights and grill.
Mine, a 2001, had the quick disconnects on the trans and oil lines.

video is just what i needed thanks.
No problem!!

So on a 95 s10 4.3 , the condensor can be removed without removing the radiator?
Do you need to empty out your ac system before removing the condenser?

I'm in the same boat

You figure out what it is I’m having the same issue I’m thinking it’s the condenser
do you have to recharge ac?and why.
hey will this work for a 2014 chevy sonic lt?
That’s a lot of work man! No wonder mechanics charge a lot
Being a professional myself... You lost me when you unscrewed the quick disconnect fittings off the radiator ✌️
How much is the bill to do all this?
why did you have to change out condensor?

Thanks for the video! I dont see a link to amazon for the condenser!
Hey just did it! Btw thanks for the sub! Onky quality content here! 💪
@@BuddysDIY man I've been troubleshooting my a/c issue for the past week on my 2000 s10 and I think this may be my issue. Great videos. Thanks again!
@@kelseykay9713 could also be your evap. If you need help with that just comment here. I also swapped it and I'll give you instructions
@@BuddysDIY Will do! I'm going to follow your ac dye video first before I buy any parts. 🤘
@@kelseykay9713 awesome. You can try the air and soapy water trick as well. How long does it take to leak out?
Awesome
:)
Nothing like using all the wrong tools.
Pretty sure I could have done this with all box wrenches if need be

2001 Silverado is very different
