Thank you for the video? I don't know why Honda can't get road noise under control, it just makes me mad because there's so much to like that they do very, very well.
They should work on their active noise cancelation system, since they can't get rid of road noise.

@Iegend17 Acura sound deadening isn't much better, it is better, but not Lexus comparable. I don't know why I can't have sporty and quiet, especially for the transaction prices they're going for now. I know the new Prologue and ZDX will be quiet, they're GM products...trade-offs 🤷

No heated seats, no spare tire, no way to retract side mirrors from inside. No passenger seat up/down ability; only forward/backward MANUAL lever. No backseat air vents nor power outlet. Bummers!
@pulsargaming87 Pulleze!! My 2007 other car has heated seats and a fully-adjustable passenger seat. Does Honda truly expect in 2024 that winters are less brutal than 20 years ago, or that ALL front-seat pax are 5' 11'? There's just no defending the indefensible.
I guess we should be happy they deigned to give us airbags and seatbelts in "the base model." BTW, a car with 'SPORT" in its name is NOT base anything. That's what Honda/Acura calls the "Type-S!" model.
@pulsargaming87 AND, there's no way to facilitate garage door remote opening for me unless I pay a monthly subscription to HondaLink/MyQ. Pay to open my garage door??? Honda must have lost their marbles.

In spite of all the Tech the car does not have a spare tire. You can be consoled when you are stuck out in the sticks with a flat tire and no spare because you have "lots of Tech"
It comes with a tire inflator with slime. More than enough for 99% of flats. I’ve only had one blowout in 20yrs of driving where I would need a spare. Hardly an inconvenience. You can always buy a spare if you’re that scared of driving without one..lol

The 9th generation Accord was my favourite one overall. I loved the looks of that Accord, and also the fact that it still had that amazing 3.5L J-series VTEC V6 engine. And honestly the dual screen layout in that Accord was pretty cool in my opinion. I have seen a couple of these current 11th generation Accords and they look great, so I think Honda still did a great job in terms of re-designing what is pretty much their flagship sedan. A lot of manufacturers are going away from the family sedan, but it's nice that Honda is still going strong with the Accord.
What would you choose, the hybrid or non hybrid? From a driving experience and not from the gas efficiency persepective? Thank you.
The hybrid actually has more horsepower and a lot more torque
All the new trims look so boring from the outside. It's a real shame that Toyota and even Nissan look far better from both the inside and out. And if we leave Japan, Hyundai/Kia blows the doors out of the new Accord with the Sonata and K5
That dash would be perfect without the kiddie screen sticking out like a sore thumb.

#1: Listed MPG is not always accurate, would like to know what your real world driving gets. More importantly if you can try out different trims to see if the price differences are worth it
You can exceed the listed MPGS numbers if you drive slow. My dad get 42mpgs on his civic and the number says 38. City driving it’s always less but high you can get the number or more
I have the 2024 Hybrid Sport. I get between 46-52. I believe 44 is listed on the window sticker

I still like our 23 Touring better. I had a 21 2.0t Touring before this new one. While the power is down, it’s still enough imo. The new one is more refined, comfortable and quiet. No regrets here. MPG is much improved and expected over the 2.0t Top trim feels like an Acura with a Honda badge on it and saving thousands.
I have a 20' 2.0T Sport and like it, but was thinking about upgrading to a Sport Hybrid. I'm guessing the hybrid does way better on fuel than the old 2.0T?
@@fivesfilms Eh. I am getting a combined 34 mpg. No where near as the advertised 44 combined. Still better than the 2.0t C&D wasn’t impressed either as I believe they got 35/36 combined. Factors in my case at least. I am a 1,000ft above elevation and use climate control 90% of the time. Yet, I see others get insane mileage. But they use Econ mode and hyper mile. I do neither of those and leave it in normal mode.
I have to drive one yet. Maybe in a month or two I will start looking. I had a Camry XSE V6 which was actually better on fuel than this 2.0T is. Smoother too.@@brenttitus2134

The 2.0t accord is way quicker the hybrid is good and I like it but the older accord gen was sportier. This one is very mature

Hey Honda, Bring back buttons and knobs, we like tactility.
They do have buttons and knobs for HVAC and Volume, unlike VW
You get knobs and buttons for things you need it for. Basically only thing that’s on the screen here is ur radio. Everything else is what you would want on a touch screen.

Also stupid slow. Past 50mph the 1.5t passes it like its standing still. Forget about passing. It took 6 seconds from 60 to 80...you will be hit by a semi truck like that for sure.
Have you actually driven both? I have. The hybrid walks all over the 1.5T. Looks are subjective so I won’t argue with you there. I think it’s the best looking accord yet.
