Imagine wanting to enjoy the eclipse and a news outlet shines a flood light in your face. 😡
😂😂😂
turn the lights off. you are blinding people
They can't hear you... this video was uploaded after but nice effort
You are disturbing people who want to enjoy it.
Right?! How selfish!
'i didn't travel halfway around the world to come here and have someone blind my eyes in the middle of an eclipse!!'.
I wish there were a way to get as many people interested in world peace as they are interested in the eclipse.
Or "this interested" in CHRIST JESUS ✝️💯🤔😢
That will never happen unfortunately, people are lost in the sauce…😵💫
There is no such thing as world peace, but there are eclipses.
Not Jesus Christ Trump is your Lord
when aliens comes...
SOOOOO Stupid to have bright camera lights on! HORRIBLE!
My man is rocking the Fannie pack
@NutMasterFIex Funniest thing I've read in a while!
bruh imagine flying across the country to witness the moment only to be blinded by the film camera lights smh
Look at them enjoying the moment. Camera pans over to everyone staring at their phone screens. Way to live in the moment people!🤪
God forbid we take pictures to remember it
Love how everyone is in wonder of the darkness and the camera crew blasts them with the lights😂
Here's the magical moment of totality, let me walk around with a camera man and glaring light and talk to people about it.
Yeah, its 'let me take you out of the moment and out of the darkness' !!! lol
That’s so dark that’s crazy!!
"I'm gonna shut up for the last five minutes and let them enjoy it." Nice.
Saw this one in person in Texas right in the center. Unless you see this in person there are no words to describe what it is like. What I saw today was the most beautiful & incredible thing I have EVER witnessed. If you haven't seen one of these total solar eclipses, you need to do it in your lifetime. It had a profound impact on me, & I can't quite explain how.
Thank you for the view for people at home …..❤
Me in NE Ohio.. " So what! Who cares about the moon blocking out the sun."
Day turns to night, streetlights turn on, crickets start chirping during the total eclipse..
"Okay.. This is really cool!"
You’re not supposed to look at it without your glasses.
When it's totally covered you can plus they had clouds over it
It's Ok once the sun is actually blocked.....
I’m sorry. I didn’t know.
Just joking ... you should still be careful and use the glasses. 😉
I know. I wanna go jog but im waiting for it to go away. 😒
wow, mute this before you watch it!!!!
Ignorance
@@whistle208How is that ignorant?
💯
@@siahleon7499 I think he's a bit triggered for some reason lmao :)
@@randalthor6872 Ahhh. "Triggered". A very popular, over used buzz word, used by kiddos who haven't developed a decent vocabulary yet. Way to be 🐑.
Where I am, the clouds broke long enough for me to watch the eclipse!
It's kinda sad it takes a solar eclipse to get people to stop looking at their phones for a couple of minutes lol
Pretty sure 90% of people watched the eclipse while looking at their phone recording it.
Something like this is the kind of wake up call we need when you think along those lines...good point.
Was hoping this would wake up Trump Supporters
@@trendthis364demonrats
They were still looking at their phones recording it lol
Quit showing the people! show the eclipse!!!
Damn cloudy skies
Same
All by design..
@@kindaclassykindachola Chemtrails!
Stupid camera lights. I’d be ticked. Lol
I’m Akron Ohio it was a moment I’ll never forget! Once in a lifetime experience!!!
Post your video of it on your RUclips channel.
@@stevebabiak6997that’s a good idea!
I would like to see the view from some hill for example. Not the crowd lighted with the camera.
Need to rename
Clip watch people
Watch the eclipse
"What do you think?"
(Go away, I'm trying to watch this thing.)
Drove 4 hours just to miss it by 30 miles because of traffic
Why don’t you show the eclipse instead of the people?
It got dark for 4 min. What an event.
Take your glasses off??😆
I was a waiter for 2 weeks and a guy asked me if I wanted a tip?
I said, “hell yeah!”
He said: “don’t stare at the Sun!”
Hi from Hurst, TX it was fabulous! So excited.
I'm from Bandera,TX. and it went dark as night as well. I did NOT expect that. It was absolutely mind-blowing!
Here in southwest Ohio we had clear skies with just some wispy clouds that didn't obscure it. It was freakin' awesome but kinda creepy at the same time. It's weird how fast the temperature dropped from 74 degrees to darn right chilly. A very neat experience.
I've never seen a total eclipse like that, but what you wrote is what I imagined: "It was freakin' awesome but kinda creepy at the same time."
I try to imagine what people thousands of years ago felt and believed.....especially in prehistoric times. Their superstitions may have generated such fear!
Same in Waco Tx. My outside cats went slinking around the yard on their bellies - one crying "lemme in the house!" Street lights and my electric eye lights came on.
@@wownewstome6123
I imagine they feared it was the end of the world the poor things.
Saw it in Austin with my fiancée and it was epic!!
thank you CBS news..from Philippines..here watching your video..
Glad to be alive to see such a beautiful sight!!
People come from all around to see this and others are hoping to see it on TV, however, they get this jacked up lady bopping around instead. Were those stars becoming visible in the background? The world may never know.
Exactly. The extreme lack of self-awareness on the part of these news crews is astounding.
Shut the camera light off sir!
Why does it always rain or we end up with heavy clouds everytime this happens 🤔
Baltimore Maryland 80% Totality. It gave overcast appearance, then actual overcast came in. Temps dropped too.
Looking at the eclipse with bare eyes?
You can only look at it with your bare eyes when it's a total eclipse in its totality the moment the moon is completely covering the sun - not when the moon is only partially covering the sun.
Cold today- all of a sudden.
I'm, in Namibia- we're in Fall and today is suddenly cold compared to the days leading up to today.
Turn off the lights so we can actually see it.
I loved the woman wearing the Dark Side of The Moon album cover tee shirt.
It looked like dusk or dawn for a minute 😂🎉
"Don't look directly at the sun during an eclipse, you guys, you could go blind!"
Kerrville, TX:
You can look at it during totality, you won’t see anything with the glasses cause the sun is blocked
Exactly remember what they say protect your eyes with sunglasses
@@nitziacorrea8294 You mean use 'certified eclipse glasses'. Your comment about sunglasses could cause people eye damage.
I looked at it with one eye without glasses lol
Lets see what happens next
It's only during the few moments of totality (when the moon is directly and completely in front of the sun) that you can look at it with your bare eyes. The rest of the time, while the moon is moving in and out of position, when it's only partially blocking the sun, you need special glasses. If you don't understand that, you really need to go back to school.
here in maine, it was true beauty.
DAMN BRO IT SO COOL I SAW IT
It was great viewing from Sulphur Springs TX today.
Glad that lady wasn't out there harshing my vibes.
So, what happened to the warnings about not looking at the eclipse without special glasses? She is not wearing them and she told everyone to take their glasses off.
At totality I've heard multiple professional sources that say the corona view is safe w/o glasses. If you don't take them off at totality, you see zero
They said don't take your protection glasses off
Path of totality is different.
It's OK just for the brief time when the only sunlight is the corona (the thin ring of sunlight at the edges of the moon).
because they don't want to be liable for the dummies who keep their glasses off outside of totality
even nasa said to put your glasses BACK ON once totality ended
I was there! Pretty awesome experience overall, despite the clouds!
I’m glad I went to Eagle Pass instead of Kerrville. Kerrville was so expensive and they didn’t even get to enjoy the totality. In eagle pass it lasted like 4 mins and the clouds allowed to see it.
Beyond awesome 🎉❤
This mother don't love her baby child expose to the eclipse cand hurt eyes. Really this people doesn't think. 😮
Can hurt the eyes.
Nice attempt at writing, NumbNitz😂😂😂
I am going to guess the baby’s eyes were protected by a visor, or umbrella, or something similar before and after totality. During the few minutes of totality it is safe to look at the sun. Any other part of the few hours before and after it is extremely dangerous and can and will damage your eyes or blind you. A glance or two is mostly harmless.
Here in Denton it was pitch black
Fort worth it was wild
I'd be annoyed at your TV camera lights! The darkness mid-day is part of the thrill! Lights out!
Thanks for sharing this.im in Panama City Florida..it didn't look like that here.
She's like ok let me watch this now! Towards the end😂
This reminds me of that Bobs Burgers comet episode 😂 from the people out chillin in their chairs, to the bright light of the camera man, the clouds, everything 😂
I was there! It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen in my life!
Not the reporter looking without glasses! 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂😂😂
Only during totality, where it is 100% safe to look at without glasses......
so many confused people who don't know in the comments, sigh
The sun has points on it....someone has been lying to us...😮
I see those points too😮
Ask where the moon was during this long eclipse. It wasn't anywhere near the sun for most of the time.
The points are an effect called "Bailey's beads." I suggest you look it up and relieve yourself of some of that ignorance you've got going on.
@@capnbingbong7833 I doubt they will look up anything that doesn’t confirm their beliefs
@@capnbingbong7833 I definitely see point what I see..keep your educated b.s. to yourself
It was magical here in Marble Falls Texas.
Near ATL the temp droped 30f ish degrees instantly
I saw 75 percent in San Antonio
Really cool how the moon and the sun are the same size. And earth isn’t moving.
I like the part where the moon appears to be translucent normally but totally blocks out the sun when it’s “in front of it”
Earth is always moving
@@rommelthedesertfox3089 haha. Try to prove that. Copernicus couldn’t. He worked 25 years and only hand the movement of the wandering stars (planets) to convince him. And then he wasnt’ sure.
Sun is 400 times larger and moon is 400 times closer to earth! God planned it this way for signs and warnings! The only place in creation where a solar/lunar eclipse can be seen! Praise God! He's awesome!
@@TheAcceber1 galelio and scientists already proved it
We saw birds flying around in circles in San Antonio as well
In August 2017 the eclipse went through a large area of Wyoming, however, the roads were so congested and motels were packed so full that if you didn't live right where it went through, you couldn't enjoy it. I was only about 50 miles from it but, the roads were nothing but a line of vehicles through the whole State. You could see it somewhat in Cheyenne but, that wasn't in the path of totality! There were businesses that thrived and made a lot of money in the 2 days before and after it though! I'll never get the chance to see one since the next solar eclipse isn't for 20 years! 😂😢😊
No other Texans is engulf in heavy clouds especially in Houston.
Waco had some scattered clouds drifting by but completely clear view for the couple of hours down, totality then return to normal. Barefoot on my patio 🎉
The man at 1:01 lives in the moment
Jah is great . What a beautifully moment. The birds the clouds make it super eclipse . 🎉🎉🎉
Here in Roanoke and I wish I could see it :(
I saw it!
I also saw it last time.
I feel kind of lucky
Here in Washington State it didn't really change at all and its of course cloudy 😕
I'm from Washington State and it's sunny and bright here there's nothing here there wasn't anything here at all
Thank you
The people sitting there are gonna actually see it the same way as me - as a video recording ;)
“The clouds parted!!!”
All of a sudden the sound of horns come from the sky…
Certain clouds are fueled due to the sun’s heat evaporating water into the sky. It gets cold and more clear near and during totality. Sometimes enough to “part” the clouds.
Wow... it just ended up looking partly cloudy here in NJ...ig cuz only certain area got the total black out
I watched it with little Sonic glasses but it was cloudy most of it we went back inside and watched a movie😂😂😂
The clouds helped out in Madisonville. Watched the whole eclipse and didn't need the glasses...and got better pics than people who had clear skies.
Yes I’m watching live on RUclips in Kerville Texas it’s completely dark
Think about the fact that they had to talk but say nothing every second. And then remember before electricity how extremely extremely eloquent they were. Share my pain with me
I have never witnessed in my life, a total eclipse! That must've been some experience. Out here in California, we only got a 60% coverage at most so it was still broad daylight with a little bit of an amberish ambience state wide. But to be out in the dark completely like that at noon time, wow!!! I can't imagine that. Too bad it was cloudy that day in Texas, lol. Would've had a much better view.
Wow it was like closing my eyes for a few minutes 😂😂😂😂
Wherever I travel I always encounter someone from Seattle! What can I say we like to travel.
Where is a shot of the "Empty Cross"?
Where's Shatner?
In 2017, we watched it from my my back deck. Total darkness. TO ALMIGHTY GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!! ✝️💯🤔
Amen Glory to God
I LOVE SEEING THIS
This only happened about an hour ago
People have lost their mind, all this from being in a shadow!
It is an absolutely mind blowing and awe inspiring phenomenon. The math and history of how we figured out the timing instructive.
Thousands of people went blind today
It's a total eclipse of the heart ❤
Amazing..Mother Nature
God bless. Beautiful texas
Great report and discussion Janet!! Great discussion Norah and Tony!! I saw the solar eclipse experience in Kerrville Texas which was a beautiful sight to see and the 4 minutes and 25 seconds of totality there was also awesome timeframe ability from bright to full darkness back to a brighter sky!!❤
Was much less light in Junction just 30 mins from Kerrville
It was cloudy in Texas Kerrville
Interesting. While people were enjoying the totality, your camera man blasted light onto their faces.
It's DARK!!
Couldn't see it in Vegas
Nearly as dark as it is here in the UK. Its nighttime here.
