Love your videos! Jumped back into Starfield after leaving for a long while and getting the itch, I was impressed by how the game looked better over all now! And I was having a pretty good time with a new vanilla playthrough (trying my best to avoid console commands or mods), aaaaand got soft-locked in ship combat + keep getting attacked by Free Star ships no matter where I go (No bounty)... Moving back to Fallout 4 lol
That's frustrating. I might have to jump back on before the autumn I think. Going back through my footage made me want to get back out there!
I think the game is a unique experience. I love exploring random planets I love about the game so far I just bought the premium edition that includes the dlc. I am never bored playing this game. So excited for the dLC
I've been having a lot of fun jumping back in over the last few days. The game definitely comes in for some legitimate criticism here and there, especially in terms of unfulfilled potential, but the core experience is pretty awesome really.
The only hope for Starfield as a franchise is for them to give it the No man's Sky treatment, and just continuously update and expand it for the next couple years Until its weaknesses have been polished out
Its already good. Im not joining the group think sheep group in hating the game just becasue thats whats cool to do right now. its an amazing game.
The DLC coming this fall really hurts and I don't expect the CK to release soon either ^^
It'd hurt more if they rushed it.
Just recently got the itch to jump back into Starfield and start a new playthrough, was hoping that would coincide nicely with the first DLC drop in a month or two but maybe not then....

That would be nice! I've got my fingers crossed for more styles of parts and more utility for the outpost landing pad personally! 😎
im still waiting for like cosmetic DLC's like where you can repaint your armor to what ever faction you belong to like there is a option in armor an weapons but there is no colors or options for that. As of yet. Would love to beable to use UC armor an have it painted an details showing that im a pirate or UC Sysdef. or even freestar ranger.
Weapons do have a mostly unused "change skin" option at workbenches so hopefully they're still planning to take advantage of that at some point.
Starfield needs a lot of help to draw me back in. It felt so flat... especially in terms of enemy diversity.
The late timing isn't odd in this generation of gaming with the industry suffering with troubled development
They need to do something about those damn loading screens
They need to fix the base game
sounds like they had to retask a lot of the folks working on the DLC overot fixing the main game

Hopefully theres still enough modders interested in starfield to fill in the rest of the game, it really is a great game if youre willing to wade through 100 hours of boring procedural crap to get there and mods can fix that

I don't know if these updates will change my opinion about Starfield. My primary issue with the game was how they told the story. It's a very linear story. Regardless of what dialogue option that the player chooses the story doesn't change. I remember seeing somebody on RUclips call it an "illusion of choice".
They should just cut their losses and try to make a good ES VI.
