I’ll bet you end up teaching music in some exotic port of call in the Pacific. I grew up on a sail boat and have sailed trans Atlantic east to west and yacht delivery from Annapolis to St. Lucia. I just love following along on your sailing journey!!!

You are living the dream Luke. It's SO fun and refreshing to follow your life on songbird, and even though I've never properly sailed I can just FEEL the joy and emotions that showered over you as you stepped on land again after the huge passage you just did. All the trials you have overcome so far. Just... wow! You are amazing and you inspire me to follow my dream of learning to sail and getting my own sailboat some day (I work as an arctic marine ecology PhD student, and our sampling excursions out on research vessels each year are the highlights of my life). I love the part when you first reach land. It describes the feeling of reaching port after a long underway so we'll - being overwhelmed after so much time at sea. Your videos make me nostfor my time as a (Navy) Sailor. I like being home now but am thankful for all the adventures of the way. Enjoy yours!

I love your videos. Wow such courage. My husband and I have a sail boat similar to yours. We live in Houston Texas. We sail in clear lake and outside of kemah bay, we’ve never made it to Galveston bc we’re afraid of the very busy channel. ❤

Fabulous episode, you really convey what it’s like to arrive on land after a long ocean crossing. Very few people can make an ocean crossing interesting on video but you truly did it, I watched every moment and enjoyed it all. One thing that could be improved is the way you move your camera around too fast and too jerky. If you could slow down a bit and smooth out the movements, it would be more enjoyable and more professional. thank you so much for sharing your journey. I’m enjoying following along.
