I don’t have any dogs either, but several cats lol. I love watching you care so much for other people’s dogs. Reminds me of when I use to groom years ago.
I use a type of FURminator once and I noticed it looks like a blade where are the "bristles" begin and what it was doing to my pet was cutting off the hair on the top coat and it left them looking dull and it really wasn't pulling any undercoat off and it was also leaving the top coat on it was so weird. people just seem to use brushes and see the hair coming off but not take a look at the hair before and after to see what it's actually doing., Therefore;Melissa I'm so glad you mentioned this in your video it is so helpful for people that just don't see what they're actually having to see!!!!
Meeka is such a cutie. Couldn't be less interested in what Melissa is doing to her coat, she's just fishing for cuddles. 🥰 Keeps putting her head under her arms @1:09 and against her chest, hoping to get a scratch or two.
Just seen part one and part two of this I love your voice overs and that husky is the sweetest thing. I’m can’t own any pets where I live but I do live through the videos so I’m loving the fact that you stop for love and hugs breaks
I also don’t own a dog, but the fact that you’re amazing to your animal clients makes me so happy. I’ve seen horror stories of groomers being awful to animals, so this gives me hope. They always look so happy and beautiful when you’re done, keep up the good work. -Fellow Animal Lover
That's impressive firstly because I thought there would be more hair. That blowout really works wonders!! Secondly that's the first time I've seen a Husky pretty much enjoy their bath!! 😲 😆 💘
@@melissathegroomer You are such a considerate and gentle groomer. Your love for the dogs and your job comes through and you approach it all with intelligence and thoughtfulness. xxx oh by the way I don't own a dog but love all animals. I have two cats, one grey moggy (no breed) with a white bib and one Maine coon who looks like a tiger lol I call her my Bonsi tiger. Some people have Bondi tree's, I have a bonsi tiger lol the loves of my life. Hubby comes 4th on my list. It goes Maine coon, Moggy, me then him lol but he's ok with it. XxxxX
The Maine coons coat is like a lassa lapsues coat and the terminator just ripped it out. My cat hated it and I never used it again it went in the bin(garbage). Her coat is like candy floss so I'm very gentle when grooming her... maybe once a month and I use a human comb or a human paddle brush. She really keeps herself very well groomed and the Moggy she is short haired to an easy groom.
great video! i have a "wooly husky" (im guessing he's part wolf) and a samoyed, atm i just use a long slicker brush and a comb but that undercoat rake looks like it makes the job so much easier
we have a chubby golden. my parents never had a routine brushing walking or bathing time growing up, he had some surgeries and arthritis which made it hard. I'm determined to get my old boy back in pristine condition though!
First she is just so beautiful! You do a wonderful job on her. How long will this "brush out/bath" last if her parents do some brushing. Just an estimate. 💜💜💜
I love your videos, and your doggo voices! Have you heard of the groomi brush? It's quite new, I don't know if it is similar to the furninator in not being good, it works well, but I'm not sure if it's cutting hair it's not supposed to! Xx
I have a big goofy 150 rottie... he loves to be brushed (sometimes). He’s got some sensitive skin, what are your recommendations for brushes/combs, etc???
The secret undercoat area is packed for protection the guts. And when they bite each other the area is protected too 💓 I would always comb for free. But it's strange to make an announcement for it 🤣🤣🤣
Daily if you can. But I always say at least 10-15 min a week between professional baths is better than nothing. And your deshed bath will be much better! Huskies get “over” brushing pretty quickly. Some can only withstand 15-20 min in a session.
Just FYI I don’t own a dog 😅 I just love your videos and how well you do your job 😩🥺❤️
I don’t own a dog either. I just love on everyone else’s :)
Me three!
I don’t have any dogs either, but several cats lol. I love watching you care so much for other people’s dogs. Reminds me of when I use to groom years ago.
It’s just so relaxing!
me neither! I'm a total cat person but I love all animals :)
OH, how I remember the Huskey blow out. I do not miss it. I always did enjoy the satisfaction of getting all the undercoat out.
It is super satisfying!
All the groomers in the house shout, AMEN!
She is so sweet! I can’t believe she’s so good for such a LONG process!
The way she looks at you! Omg my heart~~❤️❤️
I absolutely love your voice overs for the dogs!!! EPIC!!

Thank you! I use it very sparingly if at all. Definitely do not rec for home use.
@@melissathegroomer i use a small one on my dogs legs, but i feel like for a long coat it really isn't so beneficial..
Meeka has her own channel. I will have to watch more of this pupper for sure.
She is loving this brushing 😌. A spoiled puppy is. She is a happy puppy, getting all the pets and hugs 🤗.

Gorgeous pup and groomer!! I miss my Husky boy but the fur everywhere was insane. RIP Syrus.
Same here, I don’t have a dog but I love how you are with the dogs and you crack me up too 🤣

Aww thank you! When I get my bus I will have lots more :) I can’t have pets either - so I really enjoy the ones I have to work with :)

The dog voice commentary is gold
These videos are fun, therapeutic and educational. Love this channel!
So cute how she tapped the bar, I am done please!

Love that husky smile!
I have anxiety and this is sooo relaxing
Yay! Glad to help :)
Wow!!!!
She looks beautiful afterwards, that’s a lot of hair in that dog. What’s the charge on something like that just wondering??
I love the voice u use for the dogs!
I love it when you do the doopy voice of the dog lol xxx
Lol Thanks :) A lot of people do... I will try and make sure to do more :)

My boyfriends uncle has one of these beauty's and he's such a beautiful dog
Awwww she's so happy!!!!! Great job! I hope they tip a lot!!!!
A high maintenance breed.
Horse brushes work for long haired fur babies too ❤️
Love these videos
Sooooooooo pretty!
I have a husky mix and she gets brushed every day or every other day. It would drive me crazy to see that type of undercoat accumulation :o
It's satisfying and frustrating all at once LOL
great video! i have a "wooly husky" (im guessing he's part wolf) and a samoyed, atm i just use a long slicker brush and a comb but that undercoat rake looks like it makes the job so much easier
You did such a good job!!! Lots of devices for my 2 Japanese Spitz!!!
Thank you :)
This video made my day!
Nailed it!
I'm so glad :)

Brisket area 😂 Now I’m hungry lol

Okay so I have a husky who is terrified of a slicker brush so I use a comb and a furminatort is that an okay combination?
I have a big goofy 150 rottie... he loves to be brushed (sometimes). He’s got some sensitive skin, what are your recommendations for brushes/combs, etc???
Zoom groom! Great for smooth coats
Love ur vids
Calming...
Hi, your a great person
I would love to see u groom an Aussie
You remind me of Olivia Coleman! :)
I want to spin that undercoat into yarn....don't you want a hat or something made from Husky yarn?
Hmmm would something like the furminator be bad for cats?

Can you come brush my brother-in-law’s husky! Looooord we just moved in with him and I’m really trying lol
Grab an undercoat rake and get him in the backyard. :P
prf.hn/l/KjPnpMz
Or buy one for bro lol and be like hint hint nudge nudge 😛
How often should I brush my husky/malamute puppy?
Daily if you can. But I always say at least 10-15 min a week between professional baths is better than nothing. And your deshed bath will be much better! Huskies get “over” brushing pretty quickly. Some can only withstand 15-20 min in a session.
I know this is random but I think she’s pan. Her bracelets are pan flag colors
Hold on. You do ALL THAT about once A MONTH on Meeka?! Holy moly!!! It looks TIRING
It looks like cotton candy
Just came here from TikTok, looking forward to seeing Piper the Sausage Dog 🌭🇦🇺
😍😍🥰🥰
🥰
I'm not judgemental usually but why would you put such a thick coated dog thru California summers 🤦
So......what you do is you just pick a part of the husky and then add "people don't realise a lot of undercoat likes to hide there"
Oh No, You are so messy...This hair flying around in the air... feels bad to watch
It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it LOL
