Is it safe to use if there is rain in the forecast starting tomorrow for the next few days? If my front yard is 2500 square ft, should I use 3/4 cup of powder then 1 gallon of water or less? Doc, great website and videos. I have a problem with my yard. Over the past several years my grass has been gradually thinning regardless of what I do. I just had a soil analysis performed and the results were 4 ppm Nitrogen, 2 ppm Phosphorus, and 151 ppm Potassium. The extremely low Phosphorus I think helps explain my issue. Adding Nitrogen is not a problem since all the fertilizers are predominately Nitrogen rich, however I am having a problem finding anything with high Phosphorus content. My pH is also a 7.8 so I need to work on that also. Please help! What would you recommend?

Fred Eitel I would cut then add super juice. To answer your question, cut as early as a day later. You want to give the grass time to take up the nutrient. Since you mulch, the nutrient is staying in the yard. Hope this help
Doc, I purchased my first bag of Super Juice, I mixed it and it had to set a few days before I could finish. When i returned, there was mold in the mix and the bag had a lot of moisture in it. Is that a common issue?

Last weekend (10/17/20) I aerated, overseeded with TTTF and KBG and put down an application of SJ at a 7-1-2 ratio. You might get a VERY light hint of blue on sidewalks that lasts for a few days, but you REALLY have to look for it. Eventually you get good at not spraying anything but grass.
Hey Doc - looking forward to trying your formulation. Can you clarify how much N is actually being put down at the 14-2-4 ratio? It's obviously not .14 of N per lb (as we're used to calculating for granular) cause that won't give you 1 acre/bag as you mentioned (or 2ac @ 7-1-2). But if I work it backwards for the coverage you state then the N per 1000 is really negligible and my slow-release granular is pretty much required for deep feedings, and the SuperJuice is the on-demand 'espresso shot' for instant results. Am I on the right path understanding this?? I like the results I see as well as the concept of the product but my brain cells conked out halfway through the math.

Hey Doc, most already have the Miracle Grow sprayer including me. Consider, put 2 cups in it and spray? They disperse at 1/2 oz per gallon? It might make it easier, I didn't get any particles when I mixed SJ in the gallon container. It broke down well and was pure liquid. Just a thought.

For anyone looking for a container with a spigot, go to WalMart and look in the kitchen section. There are water dispensers in there that should do the job for a reasonable cost. They won't hold five gallons, but for a two gallon unit for around $8, this is cost efficient.

Seems like an excellent product. However, if you’re constantly out of stock, what good is it to somebody that can’t get it? I recommend you demand your supplier produce three or four times as much, so they don’t run out of stock, plus they can get the price down. You’ll sell more. Then if you don’t run out of stock, you can determine what your true annual demand is, figure out how much of that demand is from new customers, determine the annual growth rate, and adjust your manufacturing to that demand and growth. Tell your supplier it’s unacceptable to run out of stock. Even though it’s a good product, it’s too expensive. Add too much blue lawn dye, and you instantly turn your Bermuda into Kentucky Bluegrass! 👍🏼 😂🤣😂🤣 Great tips on hose-end sprayers.

Is the nitrogen in the juice synthetic? How does it smell? I can’t tolerate that granular synthetic nitrogen fert’s. Stinky. I don’t want anything that makes my lawn uninhabitable for any time.

I have a different lawn then most people. I have Saint Augustine in the front and a section on the west side of my house. In the back I have Bermuda grass along with a section that gets less sun light I just put out Zoyza grass sod. My question is will the super juice harm or benefit the Saint Augustine and zoyza grass?

Is water pressure a factor in spraying with Super Juice or other products? My yard pressure is high, 108 lbs, house pressure is 60 lbs. I feel that my product is used up too fast, so I lowered pressure at spigot.

Since it's spring, I would treat at the 14-2-4. It's very mild FYI. One cup will treat 1500 sq ft at the 14-2-4 so 2/3 cup.

Is the nitrogen in the juice synthetic? How does it smell? I can’t tolerate that granular synthetic nitrogen fert’s. Stinky. I don’t want anything that makes my lawn uninhabitable for any time.
At FULL strength the mix smells like a gentle salt marsh. All you can smell is a slight hint of the sea kelp. Once sprayed there is zero odor.
Just ordered a bag. Is it okay on zoysia with that much nitrogen?

I've just ordered 2 bags and plan to add weed and feed along with the dry humic dg. Wait a few days and do the liquid juice. It's still cool here and soil not thawed in places.

I have a different lawn then most people. I have Saint Augustine in the front and a section on the west side of my house. In the back I have Bermuda grass along with a section that gets less sun light I just put out Zoyza grass sod. My question is will the super juice harm or benefit the Saint Augustine and zoyza grass?
It's good on all grasses anywhere in the US as a supplement.

Question: I was planning on adding weed control concentrate to the super juice mixture...being that my yard is overwhelmed with WEEDS...should I mow first, bag clippings then spray the combined solution OR should I spray weed control on the unmowed lawn, then spray super juice the next day?
Weed killer needs to stay on the leaves of the weeds for at least 3-5 days. That's what I would do first. Then the rest.
Can Super Juice be sprayed using a Tow behind Broadcast Sprayer like the North Star instead of a hose sprayer?
Yes, just make sure you dissolve in warm water and mix well.

Is water pressure a factor in spraying with Super Juice or other products? My yard pressure is high, 108 lbs, house pressure is 60 lbs. I feel that my product is used up too fast, so I lowered pressure at spigot.
Somewhat... yes. My front pressure is 101 and back is 65. I just adjust my walk rate a little.

Hello again...another question. Will this harm flowers if they get hit with overspray? There’s some grass close to flowers and some Persian shield plants. Should I avoid spraying that grass or it’s fine it won’t hurt them if they get wet from this!

I spray it on all my landscape plants. The only time I don't is when it starts to get warm.
My lawn right under 1500 sq ft So one cup treats 1500 sq ft how much water do you add to that one cup of SUPPER juice??
Mix it with enough water to fill 1-2 bottles and spray away. The amount of water used is not very critical.
