So sweet kids, the daughter is so glad for daddy, she keeps asking daddy "are you happy?" 4:056:5110:0711:2917:2418:55 Hope to be blessed one day with such a tranquil family and adorable kids. Bless you.
This is such an excellent video, and he is so full of joy and wonder. Beautiful family. Thanks to the wife for letting him just experience it so authentically without overshadowing his innocence and amazement with questions and talking. We really get to experience this with him. I really enjoyed this.
yeah, very funny 20mins wow after expecting more. It does shows he saw lots of the videos: probally also annoyed by the ones where the filmer/bystanders constant asking "what is this colour"
I was like, 22 minutes of a video is just too long. But before I knew it I finished the video, I could see this for hours! Feel happy for you, really nice family and a nice place there
Lovely video, lovely family, nice guy, sweet kids, GREAT wife for allowing him to have his moment and not bombard him with questions and endless chatter. Best video yet. So glad they worked for him.
He’s like a child experiencing things for the first time. This was heartwarming to watch. His excitement kept making me smile. It has to be so overwhelming to see everything you look at every day look so different in just an instant. I loved this
Ive watched alot of these postings and I mean alot, this is the first post I saw where the wife and kids let daddy explore and are extremely respectful!! They are just letting him talk and explore his brand new world!! What a beautiful family!!!
The only man I've seen in 20+ videos who adheres to the rules and refuses to take the glasses off for 15 minutes. Props, lol. I don't blame people for flipping them off and on though, I imagine it's wild going back and forth and seeing new colors appear out of nowhere.
Super cool that you're explaining everything in such detail. It really allows us to understand your experience. And really great, mellow kids too. Wonderful kids, just enjoying it with you.
u have a amazing daughter, great spirit and polite. Congrats for the amazing experience :D and yr wife is awesome for letting u discovery the things by yrself
What a beautiful family. What a smart wife, who didn't arbitrarily take the lead, instead, she let her husband himself experience and find the excitement in this colorful world.
I know I'm way late to this party 🎉😄 But I really liked how we as the audience could understand the new neutral pathways and connections were forming in real time! I'm so happy for you!
Thank you! I still happily wear my EnChroma glasses every day, just not when I'm sleeping. But I am able to see more color in my dreams now, I think...
What a great video! He is so articulate too. I think people don't understand that its almost like seeing blurry then getting glasses. You can see clearer, more details, and things that don't belong! Love it.
Yes... Your shirt is really REALLY royal blue and those bushes out in the distance are indeed tipped with red. The flower you picked looks like a purplish magenta. Purple is made of red and blue.
I bet he had a big cry on his beautiful wife's shoulder once the kids were not there.... This is one of my favourite encroma videos now. ❤from Australia
So wonderful and what a beautiful home for this to take place. I love that we get to hear from him what he's experiencing instead of a bunch of adults asking and explaining, "what color is this?" and "look at this" and "come over here".
Congratulations I am truly happy for you, All!!!.. Your little girl is going to apprieciate color just as you do at this moment! She is so happy for you. Aww you are a good father! Bless your heart. The love I see is also a beauty! Your wife is also Amazing!
Curious, how fast people get over red (usually), but when it comes to purple they're like "PURPLE oOOoo wtf". And also shades of green. Happy for every single person, re-discovering the world with these glasses
I love that they are so sensitive to the colors that they see more colors than we do. He saw rainbow colors in his wife’s eyes. I hope they will always see the wonder of the colors. It makes me look a little more carefully.
These glasses improve the sight of more then "just" the colorblind; they also are good for the non-colorblind! I note the contrast and sharpness improvement that you report.
Thanks for sharing this video. I really appreciate this. What a wonderfull place that is - a paradise for a family! Love this neighbourhood, your home and garden. It was a pleasure to be sort of part of this enchroma moment! Best wishes from Europe
father see eyes dother its so sweet Super cool that you're explaining everything in such detail. It really allows us to understand your experience. And really great, mellow kids too. Wonderful kids, just enjoying it with you.
It is still quite amazing. And I'm pretty sure that my eyes have adjusted in some way, and I see better color without the glasses that Han I did before I started wearing them.
@@tubadylan Wow, that is extremely interesting information! So the brain is somehow able to recalibrate what the colors should be now that you have seen what they 'should' look like. I wonder if any brain scientist has studied that phenomenon. Anyway, super happy for you, and thanks for sharing the video with the world & bringing us joy too!
"Those pink flowers on the side of the house are just like.. BAMM - PINK PINK PINK PIIIIIINK" Lol, that is so funny and refreshing. I am not colourblind but as a photographer, well aware of these beauties of mother nature, I can so understand where that comes from. It is really rewarding and exciting to follow your discoveries in this way through the video. Well done.
*2021* I love how they appreciate nature. I have been legally blind since 3 without glasses and at 55 still remember the day I saw leaves! Mom knew something was wrong because I always drew "lollopop" trees. Even that young, I cried. **folks these are not that expensive** my prescription are almost $600 every year. There is NO price I wont pay to see.. The enchroma, no script, are just $350!!
I watch these videos and think wow I am glad I am not colorblind...but then I think damn I want to be colorblind so I can experience real color for the first time. "That's PURPLE?!?"
This is amazing how he gradually starts to see improvement, I know he doesn't feel like it is a big of a change as other videos, but if you listen to his comments, he is experiences the exact same as everyone else, but it just takes longer time for him. Btw, that area looks really nice, what state is it?
The brain doesn't have recorded yet in its cells the new spectrum of colors he sees. The more he looks, the more and more the new colors are imprinted into his brain. It is like a new born baby brain that makes contact with something completely new, colors, tastes, sounds, smells, etc.
I love how his wife was so quiet and really just let him explore and take it in but it was frustrating that she wouldn't answer the questions he was asking, lol.
And he still has other treats to come. His first sunrise/sunset. The trees changing color in the fall. The colored lights on the houses for Christmas and on and on.
Great job with this video. Ive watched a few with way too much talking from the camera man... "What color is this?"... stupid question, the poor people have never seen the color before... anyway, very well done video.
That is my worst pet hate when people keep asking what colour is this what colour is this? They don't know how to express the colour all the name they have been calling colours different names because they thought that pink was grey and so on and now they are seeing you colours which they have no name for so it's useless asking them what colour is this is better to ask them to compare colours to what they used to see before say for example have a blue balloon and say point to something that used to look like this colour before you wore the glasses etc It's great to finally see a video where the person is allowed to explore on their own the new colours that they are seeing I was looking for something like this for a long time where they are left on their own to just move around and discover what we all see and let them express it in their own way. It was great to follow this short journey
I dropped acid sixteen times and ate a bunch of mushrooms back in the late nineties, and never experienced a change in my color vision. The glasses do help me see color MUCH better than before. I wear them every day!
I'm on my fourth pair of Enchroma glasses. I wouldn't want to ever be without them! They have enriched my life, when it comes to seeing color, and the newest technologies they have developed are actually even better at helping my color vision.
They are truly amazing glasses. I am so very thankful to the EnChroma company for the research, development, and mass-production of such an amazing product!
@@tubadylan Thanks for your answer. Great to hear. Many should maybe remember that this was not invented due to intense research into colorblindness but was discovered as a derivate of other ground research made previously. Universities and state sponsored ground research, into whatever, often turn out to deliver results that eventually will cause many different inventions in the private sector. It is pretty sad that only we in the Western world are getting acces to these glasses. Any colorblind child should grow up with acces to these no matter where they are born. I am so happy for the lasting lift of life quality you have gained. I really looked for some long term responses on the usage without finding any, so thanks for your answer and time!
Thanks for just filming and letting him lead. I hate it when everyone is asking so many questions, it's too overwhelming.
@ShariSez1 The ones asking questions after 3 seconds are the ones being selfish.
@ShariSez1 They're just being annoying and taking the experience away from the person. Don't be so selfishly intolerant.
That's a really beautiful place.

"I expected more because in all of the videos I watche----------WOW LOOK AT THE TRASH CANS"! LOL So awesome. Congrats ;)
he keeps going, WOW look at.... WOOOW
Those of us who aren't colorblind don't even appreciate our trashcans
yup. then stares at purple flower for 5min..."wow".

great vid, well narrated, great camerawork, beautiful home and family, ty for sharing :)
I love how he was skeptical at the beginning, and then his brain got in tune and he just went on and on with the different colors :)

You said it!
👍 ja stimmt , die Frau ist sehr angenehm 😀
I lost my hubby 6 mo ago and am still missing him. These videos are what I watch just before going to bed. They convey such happiness!
I love how everyone seeing the colors for the first time are like "look! at! this!!" , we know, but it's so great to share!
Purple gets em every time!

Come to Austria to experience some more other "colors"!
Crats to you, having yours around, having given u that glasses!
Great video, took him awhile to adjust but it worked. The family (kids) are so good & polite even the Kitty Cat follows them around the house & yard.
Hey Dylan, thanks for sharing your experience with the EnChroma Color Blind Glasses. This is great news!
Thanks for sharing this- and it's long enough to get the development and reaction to various things.
Happy for you. It's a shame we take it for granted but now I feel blessed. Enjoy your new world!

"Wow" has become his exclamation of choice. There's probably about 300 of them here.
