So I asked Flolab about the border issue, and this is their response: "Hey there! We totally get it-Apple’s smaller bezel this year has made it challenging for everyone. The good news is, we already have the thinnest border at 0.8mm, which is better than most others on the market. Plus, we’re launching an even smaller bezel (0.7mm) in October, and a hot-bend glass version that will be even better! Stay tuned, and thanks for your support to everyone supporting us. So main takeaway is that we should probably wait for a month or two for the revised version of their screen protector.
As the owner of the One Time Max for my 16 Pro Max that’s due to be delivered today…will they warranty these ill fitting border protectors?

Looks like it covers a substantial amount of the bezels. It already covers a row of pixels on my 15 Pro Max
This screen protector covers part of the screen I have it on my 16 pro max and if you look at it from the side you can see illuminating past the screen protector.
Yeah saw pictures and a few negative reviews on amazon about this… wonder if its the same issue on the 16pro

@@MH_6160Yes it does. I just applied mine to my 16 Pro (non Max) and the left edge of the screen protector doesnt quite fully reach the bezel. I can see the gap when I tilt my phone to the side but it’s not noticeable looking at the screen front on.
it's like impossible to find a 3d screen protector without black borders. i don't see the point of those borders.
This screen protector sucks it eats up some of the screen making the bezels look thicker. I will admit I do like their iPad screen protectors I use them for both of my M4 iPads.
Did you test it on a 16 pro max ?
If you open the camera app, can you clearly see all four of the corner “L” brackets? Wondering if this cuts into the screen at all?

This is a good screen protector but ive noticed the black border eats a bit of the screen up on the new 16 pro max which actually covers a bit of the new camera button features on the screen i returned mine and ended up just getting a ESR 3 pack :/
One question! Is that screen protector Matte which means reduce fingerprints or no fingerprint?
This one isn’t, but they do make a matte version.

Flolab has become my go to screen protector ever since I got my iPhone 15 Pro Max last year and plan to use them when I plan to upgrade.
I do love their installation process since I suck at installing screen protectors and like how they include a full screen dust sticker instead of those small dust stickers including with other screen protectors.
Same on my 15 pro max. Although the bezels cover a row of pixels which is slightly annoying.

Funny you say that - I wasn't paid anything for this video. My first Flolab screen protector I actually paif for myself and bought a couple more for family members. I got it sent to me for free, but I've given bad reviews to plenty of products that I got for free. Just because it's free doesn't mean it's good. Thanks for watching, though 😉

@@ThePanicEnd exactly, seems like all those people stayed awake whole night waiting in line outside Flolab store to buy the screen protector and then they simply bought a phone to put it on so they can admire the beauty of the screen protector.
Only reason I did not get this screen protector was because of the black borders. Since the iPhone 16 pro max has thinner bezels, I wonder if the black borders of the screen protector reduce the overall size of the screen. Increasing the bezels
yeah i have this border on my current screen protector and it makes the screen of my iphone 16 pro max smaller. Is this protector better?

Yeah I used flo lab in my 15 pro max and now on my 16 pro max and they best easily mate. Best edge to edge I’ve seen. Doesn’t cover any of the camera with its black borders. They also give you a free one if yours break after a while. Also the replacement comes like the first one did with the install tool. At least mine did in UK. Also you should slide you’re finger down middle as soon as you finishing pulling, instead of pressing on sides then the air works its way out from middle and doesn’t get stuck cos the sides are already sealed ish

I am also a big fan of FloLab! Great screen protectors! However, I heard from the first couple of reviews that the black border of the screen protector is going into the screen of the phone, therefore covering a tiny bit of the screen. Is that true?
Exactly.. I´m waiting on comparisons, because I´ve heard it´s been a problem for some iphone 15 Pro screen protectors. And 16 Pro has even smaller edges.
I haven’t had that issue. Everything has seemed just fine for me. If it does cover it, it’s not noticeable.

Just installed this on my own 16 pro max. It’s not noticeable, but it definitely cuts into the display by a few pixels. I’m not sure why they add the black border. It might be manageable for most people but I might replace this with one that doesn’t have a black border if they come out with one.
@@ehumphrey Yeah I just installed mine on my 16 Pro Max as well and the black border definitely cuts into the screen a little bit without question. Like you said I really don't know why there is a black border to begin with but whatever the reason is it sucks. I have super OCD and it just bugs the heck out of me, already ordered some other screen protectors cause this one is coming off as soon as those ones arrive very disappointing cause I like the screen protector other than the black border.
What kind of screen on time are you getting on your pro? I dont see any point of going from my 15pm to 16pm but i am tempted by the pro. The smaller size is very appealing to me and as someone who loves switching cases a lot, it would open up a lot of options that i find too bulky on the pro max.
My screen on time is so much better with the 16 Pro Max than it was with the 15 Pro Max. This phone is lasting me all day. I would have to charge the 15 Pro Max during the day around 3 PM because it would be down to like 10%. Much better battery here. And I'm on beta.
I love mine for the 15 PM, only issue is that the black borders come on to the screen ever so slightly. You can only tell when you know something is supposed to be behind there, with the even smaller bezels of the 16 can you tell if the black borders come onto the screen? Easiest way to tell is opening the camera app and seeing the 4 arrows on the corners.
16 pro max with Flolab here. Yeah, it comes on to the screen :/ You really notice it when you open the action button camera icons.
