Honestly, a very unique scenario I have never even heard of someone making this kind of thing before. Heck I haven’t even really considered the idea before. It’s kind of just one of those things that you feel like would happen anyway, but of course there is a universe out there somewhere where it didn’t.

This is actually a stronger Germany after NOT wasting resources fighting in the west and a weaker USSR having less time to re arm. Germany would advance further, probably capturing Moscow and the Caucasus, not that that would mean the USSR is completely out. IF France and England don't invade before. Maybe Germany can use Japan as a threat to keep the allies from invading and promising to split the USSR territories with input from France and England.

Fun fact: The Soviet Union, instead of declaring war on Poland send a note to Polish offcials saying "Poland doesn't exist" and that they were entering Eastern Poland to protect Belarussian and Ukrainian minorities, Polish high command forbid opening fire on Soviet troops entering Polish territory unless they open fire or will attempt disarming the Polish soldiers which is the reason of the tiny Soviet losses during the invasion.

There is something that isn't ture:
Most likely, if the Soviet Union wouldn't invade, Romania would join Poland's side in the war, as they were close allies, and if they wouldn't then they would definetly highly help them in every way they could.
There is also a possibilty that the Soviet Union would do a bit of a troll, and demand Eastern Poland for joining on thier side of the War.
I did mention like 5 times that the video is not meant to be realistic. I only wanted to create a cool story. I agree with what you said, but it would have made the whole video more complicated. I loved how simple and easy to follow this one turned out to be

The pact also included the soviets providing oil and other materials to Germany which aided the German war machine.
Well I decided not to mention all of the treaty's conditions, but just the most important ones, as I wanted to make a shorter video packed with information. I hope somebody reads your comment and learns something new

probably wouldn't change much, you'd have to make a bunch of random other things happen for it to be interesting like:
During ww2, the western Australians join the axis and invade the rest of australia, and after ww2 is over the continents get split between communism and capitalism, and then somehow the emu war turns into a proxy war between the soviets and americans

The war was hard to win for them no matter what. I think they only could win if it was a quick war, and with Britain never surrendering it becomes impossible..
What if the decembrist revolt succeeded in overthrowing the tsar and founding a Russian republic in 1823, when Tsar Alexander decides to go to Kiev as planned instead of diverting to taganrog. I believe this would create a fascinating new balance of power in Europe, and could potentially lead to the American Civil War becoming a world War, being that in our own timeline Russia backed the union against British and French aggression, and if Britain and France were to intervene on the behalf of the confederacy I believe that this could potentially drag a more closely allied, and more modern/industrialized Russian republic into the conflict.

I loved this scenario right until the end... so the soviet union is vastly weaker, France keeps on the defensive, and no US involvement... but Germany still loses, somehow?

If the USSR was victorious on the Vistula, that's one example of a better scenario. Also, if Poland allowed Soviet troops to protect Czechoslovakia, or if the social democrats didn't side with the Nazis in Germany (which would've spared the USSR of WW2)

@rewriting-history The great purge made ussr overall weaker, but more stable, holodomor is a great misconception because it doesn't affected the soviet army capabilities, if the great purge didn't happened ussr would have a coup or a civil war in mid ww2, people underestimate the soviets

When it comes to the Baltics, I think they would've sided with the west. The Soviets were seen as a threat, but so were the germans, as they had been the ruling class in the area since the days of the Livonian Order. Although if this arrengement was the case, the Baltics and the Soviet Union would be the same colour, which I think is a bit extreme. It would've been better if the Soviets were sort of a faction of their own with their own colour. Something worthy of note is that all of this speculation is made under the assumption that they'll pick a side at all, since like Finland, they initially wanted to stay out of the conflict.
Other than that, I think this video was great!
No need to keep defending from potential comments mid-video. Just make you scenario and maybe address some stuff that’s unrealistic in the description or comment section. Just a way to make the video itself smoother.

So the stronger French and UK direct involvement in the victory against the Germans would eventually secure them stronger positions on dictating post war terms eventually saving Poland,Hungary,Romania,Bulgaria,Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia from falling under communism but also splitting Germany on parts since France wanted to outrightly prevent them from rising as a great power again. Also the Soviets are still getting most of the Baltics and Italy retains it's control over Albania and Istria.
Not relly france was very unstable in real life they would probly have a coumnist revolt plus the soveits would have taken all of pand the allies cant do anything about it plus the germans wouldnt had this sucses in the eastren front as they dont have the resources that they got from the tge non aggressoin pact soo thus is very unrealastic plus the french where very incmptonet becuse of there bad high command

The problem with your theory that the Germans would believe it would be a quick war in Russia is because it was based two things that didn't happen in your timeline. First, the easy victory over the Low Countries and France. And second, the abysmal performance of the Soviet Army in Finland. Before these events, Hitler was sure that the struggle against the Soviet Union might take years. After these events, He was riding high on his victories and the Soviet's catastrophes.

Well this is how it is. Germany winning looked close if you look at an European map, but on a world map it wasn't even close. Especially considering the economies of other countries. The Germans would have lost in the long-run so their best shot at winning I think is a quick war, but with Britain never surrendering it's close to impossible. Also they were crazy enough to invade the USSR and US at the same time
I dont understand your obsession with britain instaling monarchs in countries. It features frequently in your videos. Britain never even tried this once in history. Even countries which they had a lot of influence in like greece didn't have british monarchs. Even the british colonies, the only british monarchy (as in a independent monarchy like malaysia with a british house was sarawak)
