Even the younger generation is impressed. Hot batmobile never goes out of style...
I mean its a design classic. It and the 1989 Batmobile.
Not really that much a fan of Christopher Nolan's Tumbler or Matt Reeves' The Batman hot rod.
I mean dont get me wrong if I saw both of those on the street Id be like holy shit but theres just something magical about the 66 and the 89
@@budgiecat9039 yea, keep blowing smoke.

Nice to see everyone showing the love!! Car culture is alive and kicking!!
Nothing turns grown ass adults into little kids like the Batmobile!
Especially THAT Batmobile.
So true..lol
Facts
Absolutely true
Adults!? Where!?! All I saw was one grown as man
The fact that everyone was respectful towards this guy and his car makes me smile. I’ve been to car shows and owners of other cars acted like d-bags. RESPECT
i've noticed that there's seldom 'problems' in the hotrod community before....
@@dirttdude Seldom yes, but not out of the question. It has happened to me before. I overheard two guys talking about my car; critiquing the heck out of it. They saw me but had no idea who I was. Meanwhile, I saw one of those guy’s cars later on. It was nothing to write home about. It had scratches and buffer swirls all over it (I’m a professional detailer so I notice those things), that can be seen from 50’ away. Yet I showed class and said nothing to him.
@@Lucille69caddy I meant that black and white people get along....
@@Lucille69caddy I've heard people bad mouthing my car, infuryingating. Next time, run up there with a lint free rag and wipe it down and say "keep your filthy dirty greasy eyes off of her"
Depends on where your at
I’d be cautious about savages around my classic car .
Very nice man. He took time to actually talk to the people and explain his batmobile.
I mean, you dont spend hundreds of thousands to not show it off and explain it
" You can't arrest me, I'M THE GOD DAMNED BATMAN !!!".

Glass tops. The car was sharp. I was like DUDE they're looking at the car! I miss that old 78 and the attention! That's what people buy them for. All hotrod owners are looking for attention.
DID YOU SEE HOW MUCH JOY HIS CAR BROUGHT OUT FROM PEOPLE, SO AMAZING THE AFFECT THIS CLASSIC CAR HAS ON EVERYONE AROUND!!!!!
After all these years the original 1966 Batmobile is still the BEST of them all.You guys did a great video here.As someone who watched Adam West and Burt Ward as a small child on ABC this is really nice!🙂👍👍
Same here! I still want a Batcycle like Batgirl!

I love the beautiful interaction between an elder man and curious youth!
You know its a unique experience when you pull into a gas station with modern muscle cars all around you and the focus is completely on YOUR car 🦇😊
Especially when you're an old white dude in a station full of hip young black people!
The Batmobile is a muscle car .....it's just a one of a kind custom built classic muscle car featured on a TV show.
@@terryakuna66 I don't know what they did with those kits but the Futura Barris built the Batmobile on wasn't a muscle car.. it weighs two tons.
Maybe, because as you can see, with all the cellphone cameras going the moment he pulled up, someone put a word out in advance that the Batmobile would be there at this time. You think?
@David Burcar Maybe it was a car meet with all of those custom dodge challengers & chargers? Would explain all the cameras. And the batmobile just needed gas?
I never thought that car would look this good. It's beautifully built.
Can you imagine How Cool it would be to take that for a ride anywhere, Everyone knows and loves the Original 60s Batmobile...
Original Batmobile? Lesson in history, a 1939 Cadillac series 75 convertible was used as Bruce Wayne’s personal car and Batmobile. 😃
@@PB-eb4bd the one from the old serial pretty much no one has seen, i had to look it up...Thank you Sir I stand corrected.
My car turns more heads then that Batmobile ever will.
@@CamaroKidd2022 lol! ...sure it does kid
@@LastBastian lol. I was kind of joking, but I had a couple vehicle's that I did art work on with markers and they both drew as much attention as the batmobile. I traveled all over the place on other people's dime because people used to throw money at me just because of my art work on the vehicle's.
The best Batmobile of all time, every time I see it puts a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart.
Sometimes I come across a video that is an absolute home run I enjoyed this from beginning to end the lady commentator did a great job. Hats off to you.
Batmobile?..who cares...
The man tells his wife, "Honey, I need to go gas up the Batmobile". His wife responds, "Okay Honey, see you in about an hour or two". 😄 Very nice man to take the time to talk to the young people about his car.
That is so true! It’s even worse if he heads up to Kroger. It draws a crowd everywhere we go. 😊
The way they reacted is priceless
I love to see people getting along. It warms my heart. God bless❤️👍
I loved this video, and I wish everyone could see it. Things are not the way media/social media want you to believe it is.

I'll admit, i was wrong.
I never understood the hype revolving around this car (albeit it being a classic, nonetheless).
But seeing it outside of the show, in 'real' life (via RUclips that is ^^) i stand corrected.
It's not only a classic, it's a true beauty
That IS the Batmobile.
The ones from the movies were cool but this IS the only Batmobile I'll ever recognize as the Batmobile.

Great too see people experience a little part of their youth! Hats of too the owner for being patient and kind...!
@MrGriff305 Get real, who hasn't watched the old show in reruns and dreamed of owning that car?
@MrGriff305 correct.
As everyone has said, the best part about this video is how everyone was nice, supportive, and respectful to each other. These kind of videos show
that people are basically good and ideas such as super heros like Batman and his car bring everyone together no matter who they are. It underlines WHO we are indtead of what we look like....
Thanks for sharing, I'm sure it made that man's day to have so many young people interested and asking about his car.
Love that "Batman" is wearing flip flops.
Uhhhh There called Bat-Flops silly!
LOL I was about ready to say the same thing
Bat Chanclas!
Wepa!
Lololol
What impresses me the most is that no one walked up and touched the car as if that would make the experience if seeing the Bat Mobile better.
As a professional detailer, I concur!
To be fair, the girl did open the car door (with his approval of course).
@@benjones7641 That's different then what I said.
@MrGriff305 I've seen people walk up and touch other people's cars, trucks, motorcycles etc., like it's going to make their experience better, putting their fingerprints all over it. Some people have no respect, but in this video, people were respectfull. Calling the police won't help because first it will take them awhile to come out since it's a low priority call and second they can only say to the a$$holes don't touch other people's cars. Not much they can do.
I would not touch it too. Too precious for my fingers to stain it.
That Batmobile from the mid 1960's , was well ahead of it's time.
*its
It isn't way ahead of it's time. That car is as slow as a sloth.
@Camarokidd2022 if that's the case, it sure looks good going slow.

And it still looks better than any of the Batmobile’s used in all the movies.
Because it's a premium grade car sold at a premium price

According to Adam West in his bio the original Batmobile was a 1959 Lincoln Futura. They made 6 of them during the shows run, now apparently there's alot more.
Adam was off by 2 years, it's a 55, not a 57
How awesome to have the Batmobile pull into a gas station while you’re filling up. It’s a motorised work of art… absolutely stunning!
Showing up at Tim Horton's is definitely the sort of thing which might give this Batman fella some name recognition! 🍩 + 🦇 = ❤️
Friggin awesome. That car brings out the kid in all of us. 😆

At 3.00 - The flames go all the way back to that car. “Do you want a demonstration?” Er, maybe not in a petrol station, eh😂
Reenact "Rambo: First Blood".
I think Chief O’hara needs to have a talk with his deputies. Commissioner Gordon will not be happy with them running Batman off.
Lol, that was probably a jackass loser gas station attendant calling cops, we know the type, lol
Great video guys....super nice of the owner to answer questions about his car.
THIS is such a treat!! Still so beautiful, innovative, iconic, fantastic, amazing, & cute…even after all these years!! This is so special
The 66 Batmobile has always been my favorite of the Batmobiles. That would be so cool to drive around town in that.
Best Bat Mobile ever.
May not have been one of my favorite shows as a child, but definitely one of my favorite cars from the era. Currently, I, like many others I'm sure, have a 1:18 scale Batmobile die cast vehicle in my small collection of cars. Never got a Black Beauty Chrysler Imperial Green Hornet sedan unfortunately, but I do have another favorite in the Monkeemobile!
Whosoever shooting a video doing a f***** up job
Whats the time range for you that constitutes that 'era' just curious. Like when does it start and end
@@budgiecat9039 I was born in 1960, so I grew up watching quite a few "old black and white shows." My brother was a few years older, but he liked The Green Hornet and I watched that too. I enjoyed watching Kato kick butt! The Rifleman, Voyager to the Bottom of The Sea, Land of The Giants and Combat were just a few of the shows that I enjoyed as a child. When I wanted to see something funny, it was Harold Lloyd, The Keystone Cops, Abbott and Costello or The Three Stooges!
@@derricklogan2058 Its a shame WB ddint respect Bruce Lee's contributions and hire him for Caine in Kung Fu TV series; giving it to David Carradine instead. bUt if that didnt happen we might not have gotten his Hong Kong made kung fu movies which eventally lead to Enter the Dragon. But then he also might not have been put in the situation where an on set actress gave him some improper presctription pills for his headache which caused him to accidentally die on the set of Game of Death.
But then that also would have prob steered David Carradine down a different path and he might not have died himself years later in some hotel in a foreign country hung up in a hotel room which still seems sus.
Life works out weird sometimes.
I think my stepdad had old projecter reel to reels of the original Batman seriel seres and I think I remember the Batmovile being a white car lol
@@budgiecat9039 It's interesting to note like you did, what consequences happen as the result of one simple decision.
Unfortunately in life we never know which decisions are such keystone moments until much later. How many times have we heard or said "If I knew then what I know now.....".
great batmobile, and great attention to detail,....beautiful car
The only bad thing about the car is that it's a Fraud. I mean Ford. Lol
The cool uplifting video I needed to see right now. Too much medical stress going on with a parent in the hospital during the holidays.
Hope your parent recovers. There is nothing as stressful as having family in the hospital. It tends to put into perspective what is really important in liffe.
God bless you and take care of yourself. After all the family is going to need to rely on each other during such situations.
Such a cool dude. He could have been "The Bat" in his younger days. Beautiful car.
I guess the best part of this entire video. Is that how much these young people enjoy this car and recognized it. That literally brought a smile to this old man's face. That has to be the coolest young lady ever
I remember in one episode after the Batchutes were deployed and dropped a Batchutes recovery team on a motorcycle with sidecar as I remember retrieved them.
The '66 Batmobile kicks some serious butt, love it. My personal favorite is the '89 Batmobile but, truly, the '66 commands respect.
GOT TO HAVE ME ONE OF THESE !!!
Multiple generations respecting each other. Made me smile!
But it's not the original Barriss Batmobile. It's a replica. It's the first one built by the Fibreglass Freaks Batmobile reproductions in Indiana.
Agreed. It is not THE original one. But the style is of the original Batmobile.
@@unclemarksdiyauto it's a perfect copy! 👍🏻🍻
He gives the history of the car very cool. He smiles as he talks about if he has to do the bat 180 lol very cool nice guy! God bless him extremely kind guy.
To own one of the original Batmobiles I grew up watching Batman every time Adam West and Burt ward drove out of the batcave in that beautiful automobile I was like daaamn that’s a bad ass car
There are four (4) iconic cars that are famously popular. 1) The Batmobile (1966 TV series) 2) Speed Racer’s The Mach 5 (Cartoon) 3) Monkee mobile (1960’s TV show) and 4) Herman Monster’s Hurst mobile (from 1960, The Munsters TV show)👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You got to love the comraderie when car enthusiasts meet other car enthusiasts. A Mopar club meeting the Batmobile
Yea, screw Mopar.
An original ,that he drives the car for others to enjoy shows his worth and character. Nice story getting to see this car just driving around out there enjoying the batmobile as it should be enjoyed a car for the people.
I just found this channel and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed video. The enthusiasm and appreciation for the Batmobile was fun to watch. Fantastic work!
The best part of this is all of those people who weren't even BORN when the show was on TV not only recognizing it, but being so excited to see it.
I figured that the police were going to give him some grief for having the red rotator on......they were just there to disperse the crowd....
.....They wanted to see it it,too LOL ;)
Would love to buy a “Batman” rubber mask and drive around. Imagine little kids looking in. Lol
First of all thanks for sharing this. That was cool, awesome and what ever word you want to use.
As far as the officer showing up, I hate when people say the police are the bad guys!! I know I will probably get a bunch of hate messages from folk that don't agree. You can tell me there are bad ones. Just like bad mechanics, doctors or other workers. There are a lot of good ones as well.
Thanks for the video again and God Bless.
Agree. If I were the gas station owner/manager I would probably call the police too for a couple reasons.
1. To make sure no problems broke out with some jerk trying to get tough and touch/take the car.
2. To make sure an impromptu car rally didn't block all the pumps for an indefinite time. After all that is the money maker at a typical station.
Sort of feel sorry for the police. You know they wanted to get out and join the fun, but they had a job to do. 😉
I’m sure the station called the cops because all the gawkers were parked at the pumps
If they all would have moved to a actual parking spot it would have been completely different as the station could continue to sell gas
@@katherinkeegan8601 I agree with the police probably wanted to join the fun and may have been hoping to talk to the guy before he drove off 😥

I saw you and your fellows on the road in Wisconsin. That was a nice Corvette C8. I loved the lime and purple pearlescent colors on the corvette. Really cool!
This smooth I was in the trackhawk
Still got my Corgi 1966 Batmobile. Without the box, of course. We used to play with toys, not put them on a shelf behind glass...
Also a Studebaker Golden Hawk and a Porsche 356 from that era. The rest of my collection was demolished by my 2 younger brothers, who clearly had more fantasy than me. They used wrecks in the situations they created, so a few cars were smashed between the door and doorpost 🤣
SIMPLESMENTE UMA JÓIA DOS ANOS 60 E A ALEGRIA DO DONO MELHOR AINDA DANDO ATENÇÃO PARA OS FÃ DO BAT MOVEL...
That would be so awesome to take something from my childhood and be able to have the means and funds to build that would be so awesome there's nothing better than the original batmobile
That's the coolest ride ever built and it never grows old and gets old cause it's a unique ride built by George Barris himself. He had a wonderful imagination that 4sure and I'm pretty sure that it's powered by Ford and I'd love to see what it'd do on a drag racing track against the newer version of the Batmobile lol...
If it's Ford powered it's probably been found on road dead before.
Well done you guys, hard to find respectful guys these days like you were in this video. Keep it up and you'll go places..👍🇬🇧
How did I know the cops would show up
He was a cool friendly dude and was willing to share his prize with everyone. It must have been a fun experience to view that up close. It’s a beauty.
That's definitely a show stopper! 🦇🦇🦇
I remember an episode that showed the interior dashboard and the big red start button.
Years later, cars use start buttons.
Batman carried a Batfob in 1966 to start the Batmobile. Amazing
Don’t forget to call the Bat Mobile Parachute Pickup Service if you deploy those parachutes. You can’t be littering.
They retract back in place by pushing a button on the dash. 😀

That's something that you don't see everyday. There's only 5 of these ever made and you just spotted one of the 5 TV Batmobiles. I actually saw one of these at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show in February of 2020.
This isn't a TV batmobile. It is a replica and on the video it shows on the doorjamb who built it.
That must be the butler
Years ago I found out that there was a company in Canada that could build you a Batmobile. Someone had one built and then sold it because he found out he couldn't drive it anywhere because people always followed him everywhere! No privacy when owning a Batmobile.
This brings back memories. I was actually trained in preparing a car; ready for paint, by Raymong Gregoire. The original painter of the Batmobil. :) He was such a joy to work with:)🎬🖌
Man,dude is lucky to have beautiful ride like that
If you were a kid in 1966 and watched Batman on TV after school, I guarantee you have the biggest grin on your face 🙂
This Batmobile looks exactly like the one Adams West played as Batman on the TV show
That's the whole point, Sherlock
Good heavens! I am English and when I was a very young lad from 5 upwards to 9! I used to watch that Batman and Robin and loved seeing the duo fight crime back then! that was a sight for sore eyes! thank you ever so much!!

The fact that none of those admirers were alive when Batman was on T.V and the not only recognized the Batmobile but showed mad respect for it and it's place in TV history but also what it took to build and maintain one
Definitely cool. This is the Batmobile as far as I’m concerned. But as a purist I gotta say, the antenna’s in the wrong place. It should’ve been located above the trunk. But still really cool .
Yea, blah blah about the antenna
