What a lovely, warm, and classy lady K.T. Oslin was. You can just tell what a beautiful human being she was. And extremely talented. I hope she knows she'll always be loved down here.

What a fabulous interview! What a treasure KT was! Thank you for sharing yourself with us Ms. Oslin. Sing with the Angels and show them how it's done. RIP
I can’t believe in all my searches for everything K.T. I’d never found this interview. What a gem, I really feel I got to see the real her in this. What a sense of humour and quirkiness. Miss her.
Her recent passing brought a tear to my eye. I saw KT twice in concert back in the day - the first time she opened for Randy Travis in Toronto...the second was her own tour at Ontario Place Forum. Had the memorable opportunity to briefly meet her outside the venue as she was boarding her tour bus. Shook her hand and told her how much I loved the show. She was sweet and gracious. I always tuned in to watch her every appearance on Johnny Carson's show at night (she was one of his favorite guests I recall). Bought all her albums over the years...just loved her songs, her voice and her southern charm and attitude. Wicked sense of humor, too. RIP KT - you'll be sadly missed.
So jealous. I have loved K.T. ever since I was a kid. It was my dream to see her perform and to meet her. I am so happy she uploaded all the old concerts and performances before her passing. When I heard she passed. I cried all day!. I am from Ontario myself. London Ontario actually
I never liked country music until K.T. came along and then I was hooked. My Mother loved her as well and although her music lives on it's painful for me to listen to now that both she and my Mother are gone!
OMG GOD BLESS YOU! This must have been K.T.'s last interview before she passed away. I am still so sad. When she came out with her new album Simply a few years ago. I was one of the first to buy it. My dream was to see her live and meet her and thank her for writing the soundtrack to my life. I loved Kay ever since I was a young boy. I miss her so much!
I can't tell you how much I would love to meet some of the women of country music. And KT is way up on top of my list!! Thank you so much for all the great songs. God bless
Great interview! I was 11 years old when "80s Ladies" came out, and even though I was just a kid, let alone male, I loved the song from the first time I heard it. Maybe it's because my mom is an 80s lady, but it has that same kind of Wonder Years appeal to it. Bittersweet to look back. KT was a great singer and songwriter, and even though I'm sad she's gone from this world, I'm glad that she got to do so much of her career on her terms. She left quite a legacy.
Your comment resonated with me. I was also a boy of 11 years old when 80s Ladies came out, and, I instantly loved the song. The way she told a story was captivating. I still listen to it occasionally and her other songs from that album. Her voice still takes me back in time and carries a lot of nostalgia. I was sad when I heard she passed away. She left a legacy, indeed. Thanks, a lot, for sharing your perspective.
The fact that she started out as an actor first makes sense. In watching her videos, I see so much skill with subtle emotions. The "Hold Me" video is just beautiful.
I was born in 80 and I remember being a kid when 80s ladies came on. I really didn't know who she was then but it was played ever so often. I live in TX and country is one of the most popular genres naturally. Her voice was always unique and I picked up on the women's perspective. I had so many strong women role models in my life and she was so much like my grandma. Independent, talented, beautiful, smart, witty but yet vulnerable. Reflecting back now at 42, I miss the passion and class of writers and singers like her. She disappeared and didn't know why. 80s ladies came on one day and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I looked her up. I was so sad to hear of her passing. My great-uncle had Parkinson's and it's difficult thing to watch someone go though. She was a treasure.
K.T. was just as sweet as she was a great singer and songwriter. I was blessed to see her live in Lake Tahoe, sitting right below her as our table was right up to the stage, under where she was standing. She was so wonderful.
I can’t believe I’m just now seeing this. Thank you for posting. Rest in peace, K.T. Oslin...and thank you for sharing your wit, talent, and beautiful music with the world. ❤️😢
