When KT came on stage to perform, she had the ability to captivate the audience. Her voice was beyond a gift, and her songwriting was as bold and unique as it gets. Never before and never since, has an artist impacted me personally. She was the one. Everyone has a favorite band or singer.....I always imagined her as turning out records and touring forever. (Ok, I was 11 years old when I first heard her sing Hold Me on the radio). That hooked me. Luckily, I was able to meet her a few times, speak personally with her and see her perform in-person a handful of times. All unforgettable! I know it sounds strange to miss an artist whose work you liked, but I do miss her. I will always remember and miss "the lady wearing the gloves" May she rest in peace forever and ever.
She was one of my two favorite female country singers---the other one being Patsy Cline, who K.T. reminded me of. K.T.'s songs were like she knew my life. She should be better remembered by the country music establishment . More authentic singer/ songwriters like her are needed . May she rest in peace.
Beautiful 😍 miss u my dearest sister.....the times we shared everything, the songs the years....not a day goes past your music and your heart is always missed
