I completely remember this performance on TV and how popular this song was on the radio. They played it all the time, due to all the requests from fans. Well done KT, well done.
This woman was the total package. She wrote fantastic songs, sang them like a grown woman and looked amazing doing it. The fact that she come on the scene in her 40s made her even more appealing. She wasn't pretentious and was humble about her accomplishments. Unfortunately, she was another heartbreaking casualty of 2020, but, boy, did she leave behind some great music, videos and memories from my youth.
I was 15 years old when this lady took ahold of my heart with her music. She was really great. It is sad that she has passed away. I think that her music and her memories will live on forever
She was in a class by herself. Others can sing better from a technical perspective, but only a few can make you feel a song like she can. And the fact that she wrote her songs only adds to her stature.
OMG This is probably my favorite song of hers. I'm honestly saddened to hear of her passing today from complications from Parkinsons. She was a lovely woman, though not in the way the industry considered it. Her voice was lovely and she had great range.
I was a 13 year old boy who hadn’t seen his father since I was 5. My mom got me a bus ticket up to see and (essentially meet my dad). A lot of this was totally strange. The FIRST thing I noticed in my dad’s little studio was the radio with antennas. It was playing a Missoula Montana country radio station and this song played, at the time I was dealing with a bullshit teenage heartbreak. Something about this song. Still on my playlist after all this. I look back now 15 years later on the awkwardness of bonding with the man that wasnt really that bad and I laugh about the girl I thought I would always be with. Boy do things change. RIP KT
I heard KT for the first time ever when I came back from an overseas job in 1990. I felt an immediate connection. She was like what it would be on opening a puzzle and without any hesitation or delay, I could put all the pieces together in an instant! Her music still gives me comfort and a peace that is beyond compare. Thank you, KT. ❤ ... RIP! 🎉 I showed the video version of Hold Me to my ESL conversation class years later, and let me say, the song got them to talking non-stop. And, why not? Her song meant something special to everyone, one way or another! 😊
My heart is literally breaking 😢 She has meant so much to me since I was a teenager. There will never be another voice like hers, her beautiful songwriting and there'll certainly never be another K.T. ❤️
I'm not used to hearing a woman talk and sing about her life in such a mature and truly adult way. That's probably why I never got married, playing her songs in band and waiting to hear that woman in my life.
You on the radio. Me getting ready for morning double day football practice. Mom curling her hair in the bathroom getting ready for work. I'll never forget your voice being drowned out by my mom singing over you 😊 RIP K.T. Oslin.
Loved this woman! Didn’t know that she had passed away until tonight!😔One beautiful song writer and singer gone!😔😔❤️Love her songs! She was so spicy, honest! Down to earth!😔😔💞💞💞RIP! Dear woman!💞💞Here’s one that will never forget you!💞
SueSnell is dead on! Few stop me in my tracks like KT did and still does 25 years later. Everybody has opinions, I respect that. And mine she is on a class few ladies will experience. Such passion, and composure she makes you feel in every note. She has the voice to do anything she wanted to do with it. But that's not what makes a great artist, its knowing when not to do it. That's excellence in creativity, composure and delivery. Mending the note & delivery to the words that to the message,
I am so happy she came back. Beautiful woman in and out. Fell in love with her from the beginning. She kind of disappeared for awhile. Rumor has it that she was gay and country music didn't go for that. Even if it were true who's business it other than hers and her partner Doesn't have a thing to do with her talent. Glad for what ever reason she hung in there and made a big comeback. It would be a shame if we missed out on her talent. She is by far one of the best. Love you, keep it up sweet lady.
For the record, K.T. wasn't gay. She had many relationships, but just never could seem to find the right man and in her own words.. marriage was something she never felt she'd be good at. As for her music, I became a fan the moment she came on the scene. K.T. and her talent was so special and imo, can never be matched. It breaks my heart she's gone 😢 But she'll never be forgotten!!!
Gay, he'll no! Just because she didn't have a constant man by her side, married or divorced many times doesn't mean she's gay. People can be cruel, jealous and sickos.
Not sure. Her reasoning for never marrying was that her mother had been married 4 times. K.T. moved around a lot as a kid. Believe she didn't want to repeat history, that and she was a self reliant woman. Believe from what she saw her mother go through she learned can't depend on people
I kind of thought of this lady as a reincarnation of Patsy Cline. I was 15 years old when she took ahold of my heart. This song really makes my heart pound. She was really great. It was so sad to hear that she passed away. I think that her music and her memories will live on forever
Jealousy was involved. A new act especially at her age wasn't supposed to make it. Sorry Nashville you couldn't stop this one. K. T. was a powerhouse like no other singer I have seen, with the exception, of Marty Robbins. Both singers kicked down doors instead of knocking on them, to get what they deserved.
I've been playing this song on replay the last couple of months. Then to hear the sad news that you passed away before Christmas. Beautiful lady rest in peace. Love all your songs & that voice! ❤❤
This world was a better place having you here.
I'm not really a fan of country but this lady was the exception. She sang from her heart.
And that’s how it’s done kids. No auto tune or some computerized bs.
Most female country stars today aren’t fit to wash this woman’s laundry. Incredible talent
I completely remember this performance on TV and how popular this song was on the radio. They played it all the time, due to all the requests from fans. Well done KT, well done.
So Beautiful. I still listen to her in 2024
RIP KT, We love you more than you'll ever know
She was so beautiful. And so under rated
Sad that she is gone. Happy that she left us with her beautiful, entertaining music.
You are so right. She was everything wrapped in one
@@erinvaughan6155very true
I agree 100%.....I still play her recordings often!
Absolutely agree 💯!! She also brought maturity, beauty, and elegance too. Her music and songs are still my favorite. Lost an angel in 2020. 😭
Yes an amazing artist. Sang with so much passion in her songs. She is very missed.❤🥀❤
If you know music - you know KT!
Love her singing this song. Lo4 all her songs.😊
The voice of a angel singing for all people
The most prolific prolific female singer in existence.
This song makes me cry. I loved it as a child but now that I'm a married woman of 20 years I really get it. What a great talent.
Same. I felt your comment. 20 years this year. And this song speaks
I was 15 years old when this lady took ahold of my heart with her music. She was really great. It is sad that she has passed away. I think that her music and her memories will live on forever
I am almost 50 now and her music still touches me the same way that it did 35 years ago. She was really great
I Play this song when I visit My wife's grave. Makes Me cry every time. 47 year's we Made It!! Five years deceased and Miss her every day. ❤
Fresh faced beautiful woman with a voice to match.
I miss you so much K T 😔RIP
A high barrrrrr. To over come!!!
Boy One of a kind. That's why they call them artist!
She was in a class by herself. Others can sing better from a technical perspective, but only a few can make you feel a song like she can. And the fact that she wrote her songs only adds to her stature.
KT Oslin wasn't just a singer, but she was also an amazing wonderful entertainer. She was one in a million of super star status.RiP! Beautiful lady.
One of the greatest songs of all time! E
I loved KT. Hervoice was incredible.
I was runnin from you darlin, I was runnin from my job, I was runnin from some wrinkles, no cream will stop ❤❤
superb singer... I miss her performances
What a voice she makes you feel it
Man, she was unmatchable. Simply amazing.
What a beautiful song. Love it. Sandra B.
KT had more passion and vocal agility in one note than most have in an entire song 😷❤️🐾
Amazing singer! Gone too soon! Thanks to Government Covid !
Loved KT Oslin. Sorry she’s gone. Takes me back to the 80s
OMG This is probably my favorite song of hers. I'm honestly saddened to hear of her passing today from complications from Parkinsons. She was a lovely woman, though not in the way the industry considered it. Her voice was lovely and she had great range.
@Malorie Soderman

This song would make a very good movie! K.T. knew how to tell a story! Makes me wonder if she drew from life.
Anyone letting this song roll over you in 20/20?..her voice ..so rich and expressive its like no one else's.
2024
I think I'm lucky... I have had three loves in my life. But they never stayed, so this is a very special song for me. I love K T Oslin, always.
I heard KT for the first time ever when I came back from an overseas job in 1990. I felt an immediate connection. Saw KT in Winston Salem early (70)s! Great show and performance!
My parents did too, I wasn’t here yet I’m an 80s baby

True performer,
You on the radio. Me getting ready for morning double day football practice. Mom curling her hair in the bathroom getting ready for work. I'll never forget your voice being drowned out by my mom singing over you 😊

I am sorry, I mistook her for someone else.
that's okay..no problem.

She was smooth and honest
I kind of thought of this lady as a reincarnation of Patsy Cline. I was 15 years old when she took ahold of my heart. This song really makes my heart pound. She was really great. It was so sad to hear that she passed away. I think that her music and her memories will live on forever
Voice with conviction. You don't see that often. She really got into her songs. I find a lot of them just stand up there and sing a bunch of words
One of your best performances of a classic song.
How KT gets so little listens, well, it just amazes me.
She only had 4 #1 hits and her biggest years were from 87-90. She made a big impact and disappeared. She was great!
Wow... miss her so much!! She had it all as far as I'm concerned!!
Beautiful lady with beautiful voice ❤Rip doll love you
Absolutely loved this song and this woman. RIP Lovely Lady!!
She never got the attention and awards she deserved
Fantastic performer.
She was indeed one of the best!
I JUST LOVE HER SONGS , AND SHE MAKES ME SMILE, ITS SO SAD SHE IS NO LONGER WITH US. BLESS HER ❤,
I've been playing this song on replay the last couple of months. Then to hear the sad news that you passed away before Christmas. Beautiful lady rest in peace. Love all your songs & that voice! ❤❤
I always thought her trademark black gloves were very chic !!
This Woman can sing ! I was a freshman in high school when this came out and this song sounds good today ! Thank you for posting
Gorgeous!! 😭~♡
🥀Beautiful Song Brilliant lyrics, vocals and music with meaning of unconditional love within🥀☝️🥀🕊🥀
A legend...😉
Why isn't she in the country music hall of fame?
She sure deserves to be
K. T. is one of the ladies why I started getting into singing and music when I was a kid. Along with Pasty Cline. Absolutely love these two ladies!
