It's amazing that german, a language that people used to consider ugly and bad, is being recognised as actually sounding great (especially for public speaking and negative reactions, I wonder why). The German dubs for dungeon meshi and jojo are popular because they just sound way cooler (plus jojo had dio calling someone cat piss and it's amazing).

It sounds badly acted or something. Like the VA is trying hard to emphasize certain parts of the word. The result feels unnatural to me. As a counter example, the german in this trailer sounds completely natural and fluid to me. Not sure whats up with anime dubs
