I made your car make weird noises
My name is Optimum Pride. I'm 330 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Autobot city, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for a library, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get less than two hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very loud life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to gain sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I would lose to anyone.
Glad I skipped that Legend class.
Now I just need a Swoop, Prowl and Blue-Streak, plus I'm still hearing rumors that Hasbro might release a sixth Dino-Bot like they did in the core class?
There are reports we are getting him and Rachet the same way they did Ironhide and prowl 2 pack
Hmm, but didn't they already release a 86 Ratchet a short while ago?@@Windrazor8403
Rest well king, you've earned it. I will definitely miss the six minute long rambles about a figures brakes and such
What a bittersweet review. I was also astonishingly impressed with the ingenuity that it took to get such a FANTASTIC looking Brawn. Not being a car guy myself, I wasn't sure if the vehicle mode was even based on anything, which is a reason I come here, lol. Welp, my notifications are staying on until your eventual return! 💚
"Years of war and agony, now the king can finally rest"
You are a legend, and your review of Siege Optimus was what got me to buy him, which in tern, was what got me into Transformers collecting. The community just won't be the same without you.
That said, if I might make a suggestion, even if it takes a long time to do, you might consider doing Menasor as a grand finale instead of leaving off with Brawn, as you already reviewed the car-bots and, as a commander, he had a bit more of that "je ne sais quoi" energy.
You can take the Bee movie Cybertronian Brawn in an even more G1 direction by removing his head and using the _Titans Return Brawn head_ in it. It works with no physical mods by plugging into the flip-down drill port.
I felt sad watching this knowing it will be your last one in the foreseeable future, but also grateful you put this out. It felt like closure. Thanks, LazyEyebrow! You're a GOAT level reviewer
We recently got leaks of Legacy G1 Gears. He's not 100% accurate to how he looked in the cartoon, but it's closest one we got in the mainline, and not a 3rd party or knockoff this time.
Cartoon accuracy isn't always a good thing. I wish Pointblank, Red Alert, Dragstrip, Dead End, Motormaster, Menasor, Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet had been based on the original toys.
@@windsweeper8002 Likewise. I prefer the details from the diaclone et al toys in almost all figures, but with concessions to the animation in exceptions such as Ironhide, Ratchet, Trialbreaker's face, etc. Aside from cost, the toon direction of Masterpiece is why I stopped collecting those in favor of Earthrise scale figures
Thank you for giving us this wonderful review. I know you won’t be around for a while but rest assured it will continue to be enjoyed throughout the rest of the year. Till then I wish you and your family the best going through life and may you come back motivated and passionate.
How dare that family at the beginning not pick up my goat Sideswipe. That kid is missing out on peak.
I had no idea he was a defender, but that makes him way cooler to me. Two of my favourite shows have defenders as the main cars in them and I'm kinda tempted to get a couple extra to do repaints and make him look like that.
Amazing review as always,
If you’re looking for a better Landrover defender mode for him I highly recommend the Lego Creator minifig scale one. The shade of yellow is spot on to the studio series version :D
9:37 here is your heroic nonsense squad😂😢

*snort*
Okay, that might have been your best gag in a while.
it's actually from the Hot Rod review but thanks! haha
Fuck. It felt a bit bad watching this review. Thanks for the reviews for all this time, Lazy Eyebrow.
ah don't worry. it hit me mid way through editing that this was my last for the foreseeable future. had a minute of pause to process that at 9 last night
Goodness, I've always love watching stop motion Transformers toy reviews. Brawn is one of the Toughest Autobot in the G1 cartoon, he has a macho persona, well built, transform into a British Land Rover Defender, whether or not related to Outback (Is he a brother or something?), he even wields Megatron's fusion cannon on the Decepticon leader, 20 years later, he was finally killed aboard the Autobot shuttle by Starscream wielding Megatron in gun mode!
It’s been a long time since you came back to stop motion review!!
Can't wait until you come back! you were such an inspiration to my channel! thank you for everything!
Your videos were the reason i went from being a kid buying rescue bots to a true transfomers collector. You also got me into stop-motion as well. Glad i also got to meet you at tfcon. Enjoy the break.
Interesting the similarities to Fanstoys transformation too
Chromia(?) crawling into the scene broke me. I wasn't expecting that XD
I actually went into a Walmart the other day specifically to GET brawn. no one else, nothing else, just Brawn. I like the short powerful guy.
I was so happy to get 86 brawn after having the titans return one for so long. Great Review!!
I will definitely be painting mine over stickers once it finally arrives here in Peru.
My Brawn coloured minivan developed a new horrible sound while running. It sounded like a beast. Turned out that much of my exhaust/muffler had detached due to an invasive cosmic rust infection. The dudes at the garage helped me tremendously.
Oh, and I think this Brawn review rocks. I wonder if we’ll get a shot-in-the-chest movie-childhood-trauma version.
There are rumours it'll be in a two pack with ratchet with that kinda of thing
Scale-wise, I facetiously call myself a "scale queen" because I want these things to scale on the shelf. For me, relative scale is good enough. And I think they nailed it with Brawn. He is not out-of-the-ballpark compared to the other deluxes like the original minibot compared to mainline. He falls in between the super small bots like Bumblebee and the slightly bigger bots. You can squint and see he falls in line and that works for me. I just posted a review of him on TFW today. Glad to see you made this video. I hope you still make some content of some kind. I certainly get the the stop motion was taking too much out of you.
I've never wanted a Brawn figure so much! Great review!
Can't wait for the Jipes repaint.
I have been starving for a Lazy Eyebrow review, and even though this was a diet one, it sure left me feeling satisfied. All food puns aside, I really enjoyed this review!
oh man. so good to see these animations!!!
Great to see another video from you, dude!
YES! My favorite reviewer is back!
One of the best Transformers toy reviewer.
I love the animation, tough. Super.
Outstanding review The Lazy Eyebrow!!! Brawn has always been one of my favorite characters, and his SS86 figure is top notch. :D Fingers crossed that we get an Outback repaint/retool really soon. Keep on being amazing.
My favorite of the modern Mini-Bots Alt Modes and you have it the “Trash Treatment.”
Thank you for everything I hope that you have as much enjoyment In the future as your videos have given us
Outstanding range-rover… this is why lazy eyebrow is awesome
New intro W
The goat is back
I love this figure! He's one of my favorites in my collection!
Great timing. I needed a stop motion review for my diet
Can't wait when you finally feel to review the Legacy Insecticons.
Love Brawn, love his G1 toy when I had it, love his new toy, love your channel, thanks for posting!
Great review - spot-on! I wonder if and when we'll see a Selects Outback retooling of this mold (or even a toy-accurate release with wonky clamp hands, wings, and that weird head).
oh i could definitely see it coming to fruition
@@TheLazyEyebrowmaybe even a GoBots Van Guard repaint with the toy head, given bugbite and Crasher got modern figures.
Yay he’s back
Great review man
Fantastic review I will eagerly await your trickling content, you've always made the best stop motion reviews it's sad to see them end but what can you do? Best of luck with everything!
Going to miss these when they're gone. Great job.
Great review. Great video. As a fellow Transformers normie car enjoyer and Brawn fan I thoroughly enjoyed this. 👍 👍
I would’ve waited an eternity for this
Great video. Nice work.
10:06 "from over 7 years ago" completely knocked me out of my seat, it feels like the potp figures came out an odd ~2 years ago!! and siege was just last year
I think pandemic really messed with everyone's internal sense of time
And now you can enjoy him again with a redeco remold in battle damage so you can capture Brawn's (and Ratchet's) dying moments. :)
btw, the Prowl with the blue eyes, yeah, that's the frame right before he dies. Like, shot through the heart and you're too late. Skipping that orange paint, a good thing.
I really like mine and looking forward to getting Gears later this year and whenever they give us Outback as well. I hope you're able to get the rest you need and I wish you the best on all of your current endeavors.
Brawn and Man At Arms are brothers! Brooootttttherrr!
EXCELLENT, BLUE WINDOWS!!! To go with BB Cliffjumper ❤
The gun on top just shows that they're already planning for an Outback/Fallback/whatevernametheycangetawaywith down the line.
Thank you for spot lighting Brawn. I was wondering when you was going to do him.⭐⭐⭐⭐👏👏🙂
Hey man, where ya been?! It’s good to see you making another review. I always enjoy them.
check my last video at the 23min mark. I explain there
@@TheLazyEyebrow aww, snap. I know the feeling. Burnout is real. Coupe that with family obligations (or just wanting to hang with you wife and kids) and you find out time is a finite thing. We all need to pick and choose how we do it. If this just becomes a hobby where you make a video when the mood strikes you, that’s cool. Regardless, I wish you well in terms of just enjoying life, man. It’s short, so use your time wisely.
I found a way to store the gun inside the vehicle. That small issue being fixed pushed him to being my favorite modern minibot.
sad to see these reviews go, i know the work and time they take so i understand, but will still be missed
Great review
The legacy gears mold should of been used for brawn
I want one ugh lol 🤣 but hopefully you are doing good man and great video like always
fun costum idea
buy the battledamged 86 two pack and use a 3d printed front for iron hide and prowl turning ironhide into a vw bus and prowl into porsche 924 then paint the 2 figures white apply old german police decals maybe print custom lights for ironhide and vollah 90s german police styled tf duo
Awesome also it's my birthday
Happy Birthday!!! I hope you have a great day, dude!
@@DredgeX97 thx
Happy Birthday!!!

First robot chicken now turtle man
First review of the year
and potentially only!
I absolutely love the Murder Mullet & beyond I am happy that Hasbro FINALLY put out a great Brawn figure. Now I can sell off the Titans Return Brawn & a bootleg (Mini-Warriors Hench) version of him. Great video as always, keep up the good work.
He has return
I look forward to your motor master video :)
I can't stop thinking about Ernie Brown Jr. aka Turtle-man as Brawn.
Funny enough Newage a company that makes tiny transformers with great articulation and transformations made a brawn figure and reused that figure to make a 4 pack of teenage mutant ninja turtles.
I customized mine to have a TF Animated inspired look
There was some drill attachments for 86 Brawn that basically clips onto the underside, but cannot roll the wheels while attached. Also came with a Fusion Cannon.
Once again, Brawn has a hard time hiding his head in his alt mode. Luckily for Studio Series 86 figure hides all the junk at the bottom, the standard for most alt modes. Even still, the head chilling underneath is something I still find funny.
Wanted him.
Yet again another figure I never saw down under.
Hasbo hates money.
I saw this guy at Walmart about a month ago and I was like, Brawn is cool and all but I really like Armada Starscream so I think I’ll buy him first and get Brawn later there’s like 6 of them. Well, about 2 weeks later I come to find them all gone. Guess someone out there must really like Brawn as there’s no way kids were like that one! I mean I don’t even think kids by transformers anymore period, but there’s no way they’d go for brawn over anything else on the shelf. Guess I’m buying online again. Anyway, see ya round man, love your reviews they got me back into transformers for the first time since I was 8. Sad to see you go but I hope whatever you do from here works out well for you!
oml seeing Lifeline or Moonracer, idk which one it is just crawling at 5:28 made me laugh
lifeline haha
Yeah, that alt mode looks pretty terrible. I know. Cartoon accuracy and all, but still, he's covered in hinges and loads of unpainted parts. Definitely makes ROTF shine in comparison.
His robot mode, definitely looks good, and that posing is good enough. You're right about the knees, though. Definitely out shines ROTF in that department. Great review, glad to see your stuff again, boss!
Do what you need to take care of yourself and your personal business. We all look forward to your return ❤
Lazy eyebrow, the new sound your car makes may be its lifters running a little dry. I’d recommend putting one of the little plastic bottles of sea foam in your oil fill cap about 500 miles before your next oil change to clear out the passages up to the head. It probably isn’t an issue though as it’s fairly common for a smaller 4th to sound like that.
those passages are more than likely clogged with sludge. at one point the car was driven by someone else for 17,000km on conventional oil before it was changed and it hasn't sounded the same since, but yeah that was the explanation I was given as well, in addition to it being harmless. other than the lifters, I'm currently throwing a code that the MIVEC isn't functioning as intended, and apparently the fix is to pull a solenoid switch in the top of an engine and clean the crud out of it, which I'm planning on doing come spring time.
You think seafoam might help clear away the sludge in those passages over time as well?
@@TheLazyEyebrow mivec is more like Mitsubishis version of vtec or tfsi your mivec code is likely just one of the camshaft adjuster solenoids and shouldn’t be a tough fix. I wouldn’t run sea foam for any longer than 500 miles or 3 weeks or so in your engine as it does break the oil down slightly. Seafoam’s got a ton of great uses though. If you unplug a vacuum hose and let it gradually suck some in it’ll clean the carbon off of your intake manifold and intake valves inside the cylinder head.
I'm surprised by how good this figure is. I've never been a big face of Brawn because I don't like his head but this figure is good enough that I think he's worth a buy. Now if only my local walmart actually got new figures and not stuff from 2 years back no one wants.
I heard that range rover!!
Gonna miss your old type of videos but i understand
I was the kid that would’ve picked the defender lmao
But we need a dedicated accurate take to a Series 2 or cj5
I have THAT Figure!
yay new upload btw lazy eyebrow have you seen 86 magnus
It's a great figure
@@TheLazyEyebrow ya i agreed and its kinda funny that you wish came true from what you said in your magnus video
I love Brawn ❤
I was wondering if a U clip can 3d print with the hole in one of the sides for the drill and attach to the bumper that way.
All we need now is Windcharger
of all the figures to be last, I'm sort of surprised he's become the bottom of the barrel. I sort of get it in that you can only get him and tailgate out of the mold, but at the same time, the thing was a firebird. you say " red deluxe class mid 80's pony car" and I can't help but feel it would sell to the average consumer
I'll miss your regular postings, but I understand the circumstances. Goodbye for now...
After you showed the shot from the bb movie i deass thought when you showed his alt mode that wasjust him laying down after he got shot

I like how he stands taller than BB and Cliffjumper. Brawn had great personality in the cartoon and this is toy I wanted as a kid. Sure I made that tiny truck have some grand adventures with the much larger Optimus and Megatron. The tiny guy kicked butt. I was just as mad at Brawn being blown away so quickly in the movie only to be replaced by the Kup of “back in my day” Autobot. Kup was bland. Brawn is much better. So yeah I like this bigger little dude toy. I haven’t tried them but those hubcap pegs that Nonef makes to plug in the peg wheels seem to give more to wheel wells. Do they stay plugged in? Again I haven’t tried using those yet. It seems like you could make a plate that plugs in with a port for attaching the drill. Great review.
Weird complaint for Jazz Origins, it's literally his whole thing to have alien vehicle with earth-like robot mode, just like in cartoon. What's your problem?
Hey Lazy Eyebrow, can you please review the Studio Series 86 Ultra Magnus please?
I wish his shoulder had blast effect port.
It's so sad that the lazy eyebrow died of ligma.
If this is the last stop-motion review, at least you went out on an great figure.
Can't wait till he gets his hands on an SS86 Magnus.
He already has him
@@Cherry_Coke_addict good to know, I'll be waiting for a review then.
As someone who grew up with a blue 1989 110 (the Defender name did not exist until 1990), the lack of a blue repaint of Brawn continues to sadden me. However, I feel like he has more in common with a Series 88.5 than a Defender proper.
