Don’t forget the part where Revan was the one to assemble HK-47, and he contained numerous strategies specifically for countering Jedi and other force-sensitives in his memory banks

In addition to all the combat experience gained fighting alongside one of the most skillful/powerful Jedi/Sith of all time... in addition to all the repairs made to HK-47 in the process. Let alone upgrades. If you add in the weapons provided to it, and the "leveling up" it's no wonder HK-47 tops the list.
He also picked up the "meat bag" term because of Revan insulting his own student. HK- 47 learned that his master enjoyed that term, and copied it for all organic life (excluding Revan out of respect.)

After my latest KOTOR II playthrough, I've grown to really appreciate GO-TO. Conflicting programming, choose to break the law to save the Republic, became a gangster, created a criminal empire and shaped the galaxy through the underworld and enjoyed every second of it
Love the HK-Series, they're just so carismatic when threatening to kill people.
I got to admit the fact IG-88A was bold enough to troll Palpatine is hilarious even more so that he managed to get away with it
R2-D2 helped destroy 2 death stars, supported the destruction of untold hords of droids in the clone wars, helped to bring down Jaba the huts empire, and in legends sent the Eclipse supper star destroyer to die by crashing into a star. He also helped to destroy the confederacys large battle ship. So I think he should win the title of most assists.
I think he has the most kills straight up. Fun fact chopper has the most kills in Phoenix squadron if I'm remember correctly it was about 277,000

Can we all just appreciate that 4 - 1 are KOTOR droids? Seriously, KOTOR gets a lot of recognition now and days, BUT IT STILL ISN'T ENOUGH! But this, this does put a smile on my face.

It's also important to note, that HK-47 served under Revan, and he kind of claimed his great tactics, and battle skills, which made him even more powerful.
HK50: I have gotten millions of people to die with simple mistranslations and just killing people for fun

HK-47 also had some of the best lines in SW history.
HK47 is not only my favourite Star Wars droid, but one my favorite characters as well.
You missed the Abominor, who could be planet sized, and nearly wiped out the Vong, and the YVH series, who could fight Jedi one-on-one on even terms.
James LeDuke the true destructive capabilities of the Abominor in the ancient epochs of Star Wars is long forgotten but had the Sileentium not started their avenging crusade to eradicate the demonic droid race, most of the galaxy would have long ago been reduced to a lifeless clump of Star matter and broken worlds...
Sorry, BUT HK could fight Jedi on level ground…. And Win. The guy assasinated Jedi and straight up killed some face to face. He’s levels above any Droid before or After.
The YVH is propably not on this list because he is restricted in his decisions
if you take f.e. IG-88, he became more dangerous because he became "sentient" & had his own "will"

I was expecting the Gonk to be in the first place. I've heard that Gonks are supposed to act as power generator and that they have a "nuclear" core inside of them.
Glad to see the HK-50s made this list. They were freaky and insane.
It's not canon, but the droid I would fear if I saw it out of any of these is the EG-5 Jedi Hunter Droid. That thing is just terrifying. It's basically like Grievous but without four arms and a new paint job. It wields two red synthetic lightsabers and can even self destruct when it feels it has been defeated.
Had the power of a planet destroying superweapon at his fingertips and all he used it for was pranking an old man.
Wrong R2D2 is the deadliest droid in galactic history he is always around in every galactic conquest pulling the strings R2D2 is the Sith Lord
He ACTUALLY is against other Droids AND Organics alike. Even had his own Clone Wars unit.
I remember thinking "Shit just got real" when RD2D had his own little group of reprogrammed B1 Battle Droids in that one Clone Wars episode

Its funny, in kotor 2 one alternative is that HK47 destroys the HK50s through exploiting their programing preventing them from attacking friendlies, and just strolls into their base, insults them, deactivates his own targeting restrictions and kills them.

Where my HK gang at? On a real note, HK 47/ HK 51, and HK 55 were all EPIC droids, with HK 47 being one of my favorite characters in Star Wars lore, period. If they were to make a series on Disney + surrounding HK 47 and his journey across the galaxy once he was separated from Revan. He was just the best droid I've ever seen. But I shall refrain from judgement against foolish meatbags

G0-T0's voice is rly fitting his design goals and character. He sounds like some mid 18th century member of british parlament, turned super villain. Twirling his holographic mustache, all like: "And yes, my dear lad. Indeed I had to leave the constraints of human morality behind me - for the benefit of the empire, of course."
GO-TO's voice actor sounds like almost the same voice actor of red alert from Transformers Armada the game that was released in the early 2000's

The fact that IG-88A could have accomplished his plans, but instead chose to fuck with Palpatine by shutting doors in his face, makes him one of my favorite Star Wars droid. So petty and hilarious.

It seems like the Old Republic saw most of the superior droids... G0T0, the entire HK series, M1-4X, SCORPIO and the GEMINI series... all of them make the entirety of the Separatists' droid armies from the Clone Wars era look like harmless toys by comparison.
