An N-1 isn’t exactly suited to that job
The power source being in the "head" of the Scorpenek actually makes a lot of sense.
The biggest threat to it would be mines, since mines are burried and would be inside of the shield by the time they're triggered. So putting the power sources and processors in the top and making the bottom more heavily armored against physical attacks would be the Scorpenek's only real means of defense against mines.
What I want to see is the New Republic repurposing old Droidekas, fixing them up and upgrading them, and then painting the parts that used to be copper in a metallic navy blue color with some touches of light blue here or there, and the photoreceptors could beam yellow instead of red, and then of course with the yellow New Republic insignia on their back shell. I've seen this color scheme on New Republic T-85 X-Wings, so the New Republic does display such colors. And I just wanna see Droidekas in live action again lol.

I reckon the reason for the scorponeks not being as effective in the Book of Boba Fett was due to either the pykes turning down the blaster intensity to prevent total annihilation (geddit) of Mos Espa or the fact that they weren’t functioning 100% due to their age or problems moving them between planets due to new republic/empire remnant checks (ie having to deconstruct/reconstruct them so they arent noticed).
An old Sith war droid being in the Aphra comic is pretty insane because that means those units are officially canon, whether or not the events of that era are though remains to be seen. Still we also have a KOTOR remake coming and an amazing new cinematic for SWTOR so I'm hoping the future of the Old Republic is a bright one.

Loved seeing that the beskar managed to deflect the stomp due to it's rounded shape as much as it's strength people overlook how long humans have angled armor on purpose for similar purposes so it's kindof cool to see it in a fantasy setting
One of my favorite droids of all time, ever since I first read about it in the New Essential Guide the Droids. The moment I saw that familiar shilleutte I literally lost my shit!

Hopefully we see them upgraded so they can shoot from further away than like 20 feet and actualy be able to hit something instead of missing litteraly every time.

I remember reading the essential guide to droids when renting it from the library as kid seeing these cool looking terrors only to see them years later in live action what a great time to be a star wars fan
honestly, at the time I saw the finale of Boba Fett, I had forgotten those things had existed, but when they appeared they felt familiar to me for some odd reason... this video confirmed my suspicions.
It's kinda funny how the design and shape of the head of the Sith War Droid kinda looks like the midsection and head of the Imperial AT-AT walkers.
This is the first time this droid has appeared in any movie or tv series.
While I had issues with the scorpion droids showing up in book of boba fett, I loved that it was obviously taking inspiration from the old republic

Was fraking surprised to see them in The Book Of Boba Fett, but I'm glad to see them in Live Action
Star Wars The New Essential Guide to Droids was the first time I've heard about them
I can see General Grievous using the Socrpenek annihilator droid as a defender of a fortress, heavy fire support for troops and as a deadly surprised against Republic ships like example: Anakin using his AT-TEs by putting them on astroids to surprise Grievous. Grievous can literally pull that trick on the Republic ships and can also have them stationed on the outside of starships and space stations for extra protection and firepower

I belive the pikes bought their droids on the cheap so they were faulty models not approved for frontline operations but the clone wars ended before they could be destroyed this combined with poor maintenance lead to there ineffectiveness

I know no one really comments on the ads that sponsor videos but why do people need hair nowadays? What is so wrong with losing your hair? Does it actually serve a purpose? Has it changed from a function to yet another way for people to judge one another? Everyone seems to have the solution to hair loss but have no idea what actually causes it to be faster or slower for some people? No one can tell me what I can do to speed up hair loss but millions of people can tell me what to do to slow it down.

I felt like these droids design is stupid, like, they didn't seem to be able to aim below and directly infront of them , so it seemed quite easy to just... stand infront and they can't hit you lmao
