We just tried this and it turned out very good. Of course, being who we are, we had to modify it a little to make it ours. We added a 3/4 cup of dried cranberries, and 3/4 cup of crushed walnuts and stirred them in with the apples. Both gave a nice flavor and the walnuts added the necessary crunch. This is a recipe that you can make with almost any fruit you have on hand such as peaches, pears, cherries, or mangoes.

Sorry I haven't made it in any other appliance yet, but I'll see if in the future I can figure out how to make it in the air fryer, if I do I'll make a video :)
