The Supermarine Swift F1 is probably the best 8.3 jet in the game, although because 9.0 is being spammed you will be better off with the Swift F.7`for the time being.

That turning when F9F came to help you was actually a mistake as it was obvious that the Cougar wanted to rocket those MiGs
The flaps are the airbrake (they were in real life and gaijin modelled it in game)

Hope you make a vid on Tempest V sometime later, it’s mildly similar to Swift in three things:
1. It’s not really the fastest
2. It compresses a bit at high speeds
3. But...it out-accelerates everything at mid to high speeds, esp in a slight dive
For me the most ideal vid schedule would be like this: first the Swift F.7, next the F-5, next the MiG-19PT(or S), and the Tempest. I personally have absolutely no interest in flying the new jets other then British ones.

Just unlocked the swift F1 as my first jet.. it made me realise that I might need to invest in a mouse and keyboard after all..
It's not the flight models causing the twitching and jerking. It's Gaijin's spastic servers.
It happens to all planes and even in tank matches.
almost every 8.7 jet seems like fun to fly now.
especially the ones with afterburners, they seem kinda OP to me.
Yes and no, this plane is extremely limited by it's airframe. Esp the F7 at 8.7, I find it comparable to the P-38K

In this plane what is your strategy at the start of the match?
Your forgetting this things secret weapon, the gimbal radar guns. Using radar you get an aimbotting (0.8km) 30mm auto-cannon.
The repair cost is too damn high and whenever i land Gayjin makes me bounce and die, costing me 15k every fucking time without making barley any profit

I think it's good for now, now there are more planes around that br, they might actually have been a bit too good back then
I just got the swift.... It's not worth it especially when constantly going up against Missile armed aircraft with afterburners cos its impossible to outrun them... Not once have I fought my own tier or lower
Ryan Thomson quite true but keep playing it it feels better spaded and one tier lower battle are rare but you can still do some stuff against 7.7-8.7
@@allanbel6269 the hard part is getting it spaded. Constantly against aircraft that outrun and out turn obviously, since its the F1 its performance is dog shit compared to the F7

Can you please show us the g91 r3 in the german tree? I would like to know if it's competitive before researching it.
It's not competitive, it's the R-4 with 30mms. It doesn't have the power to hang with 9.0s but it's nimble and you can get some sick shots in it. But if you're not the best pilot I don't recommend it
ive been playing the swift for a wile and i havent got a single kill, im so confised on what im doing wrong, im not spaded btw
If you're still playing it, then stay fast and play a support role.

Try flying the me 262 A1 it now Fights F 89 which are capable of 1000kph cause gajin is ruining every Tier with Premiums

This plane is annoying to fight. Like the sabres you have to kill it twice sometimes. Shearing off a wing doesn't kill it....lol
Yeah that part has to be changed, I can tell first hand that it's not as effective and you can't land it as a sabre. But it's still ridiculous
